Gurrgle gurrgle GROWWWL went my stomach. Stompin’ downtown in the Underground with a craving like none other for some Wings! Low and behold… this restaurant was in my crosshairs. Looking familiar as before… only THIS time, my recollection of their wings was «marred» by this recent visit.
It’s been sometime since I’ve been in the Underground, and it’s starting to look a bit «worn out» (the food court that is). I ordered the 20pc wing combo. (What? I said I was hungry didn’t I?)
I choose lemon pepper cause that’s one of my favorites. My drink was their lemonade. Food was cooked to order so it was extremely fresh & service was wonderful.(thus the two stars) Reasons I didn’t give 5 stars: the ratio of meat did not at all whatsoever balance with the flavor of the wing. I thought my lemon pepper wings were salty enough. I tried the buffalo and felt like I was about to have a heart attack.
Lastly, the drinks had an excessive amount of sugar in it. I was sippin’ lemon syrup!
