I visited this location yesterday after wanting to visit for quite sometime. I finally went using a Groupon. Pro: — nice small place — comfy chairs — gave a great foot massage Cons: — very limited assortment of polish options — they charge $ 1.00 for the slippers to allow feet to dry — charge $ 5.00(vs. $ 3.00) for French Manicure — barely scrubbed my feet and refused to scrub more using the loofah when asked — had to ask twice to cut the nail low

I have to agree with the other reviewers on the health code issues, since I saw them reusing the same tools on several guests without sanitizing them. Between that issue, the cold water during my pedicure, and having to pay $ 1 extra for dirty reused flip flops? No thank you!

Terrible place. I watched them break several health code rules. And they’re not very personable. There are much better places in Buckhead. Skip this one

Groupon always has a «catch». i left with the bottom of my feet completely rough with dead skin hanging off! The pedicurist was young, rude and told me that pedicures do not include callus removing or scrubbing??? Callus remover is an extra $ 5 and they charge for those cheap flip flops. What would the point of a pedicure be? My toenails were different lengths. My feet feel dry and crummy. Go to a pro– eminence nails or nail talk in dunwoody. This woman really blew it for me. It’s a cute small place and its probably only good when you order all the premium upgrades(like callus remover)?

I stopped in here for a quick eyebrow and lip wax. They are very small and all the associates were busy but I was prepared to wait and give them a try. The customers they had in yesterday were both very nice and must have been coming here for awhile because one of them let their assistant take care of me. She was VERY friendly and professional. I told her about a few extra things I needed and she did them perfectly and without extra charge. For instance the tiny nose hairs that you get! Those annoying ones!!! I’ve had people tell me that it would be $ 3 extra! What? But she did it in addition to my lip wax. Even though this place is small it is very clean. It’s nice to have a small comfy place every once in awhile to get away from the crowds. I’ll try them for a mani/pedi sometime. Ultimate relaxation!

If you are looking for great service and friendly manicurists, this is the place to go! I am always treated so warmly when I come in, even though I only get a manipedi about once every 2 – 3 months! Best of all, I usually get a few extra minutes of arm, leg, shoulder, and neck massage while my nails are drying, and it’s SO relaxing that one of these days, I’m going to try their massage services! If you are one of those paranoid women(you know who you are!) who hates it when the aesthetician doing your nails has a conversation with his/her coworker in Vietnamese, and you SWEAR they’re talking about the smell/state of your feet, fear not! This salon is Korean-owned, their English is positively outstanding, and at Afternoon Salon, they are too professional and kind to chit-chat in front of you in a language you don’t understand! I highly recommend this salon to any woman out there who hates that about most nail salons! ;)
