A G Rhodes Health & Rehab – Atlanta

My 88 year old mother fell and broke her hip. Due to pre-​existing dementia, she took a very long time to emerge from the anesthesia. She had to re-​learn how to swallow, talk, walk, etc. She received speech, physical, and occupational therapies from A. G. Rhodes. The facility is quite new and was generally very pleasant and clean. More importantly, the staff were very caring and she made a lot of progress before she left there. They took exceptionally good care of my mother. The location was excellent for me as well.

Okay, this may be premature but… I toured a few places before learning about this facility. Making a choice like this is emotional and it helps to have outside help. An advocate for folks in my position suggested I take a look at this facility. After the others I toured, holy smokes. Friendly staff, check. Clean facility, check. Communicative, check. So yes, please. So my mother moves in and we have gotten multiple calls regarding her care, her progress, questions, recommendations for how to coordinate with outside physicians, etc. It is like 21^st century care instead of the stereotypical nursing home where people go to die. Oh, Ms Wheat and the staff on the short term rehab unit and the ancillary staff is wonderful. Thank you for taking such good care of my mother this week.
