2 Places At 1 Time

I just had to post about my most recent experience with 2 Places At 1 Time. I found out at the last minute that I had to prepare a lot of the dishes for Thanksgiving because my mother, who had planned to do it, was sick witha bad head cold. With meetings and deadlines at work, I had no time to figure out all the ingredients and shop for the food. I called the concierge service and spoke with their staff. They helped me figure out the shopping list. And best of all I was able to have someone shop for all the items and deliver it my house. They saved me so much time and kept me from stressing out about Thanksgiving dinner. I don’t know what I would do without them. I am also grateful to my employer for providing this service.

I work for a tech company that contracted 2 Places at One time to perform services for the employees as a benefit. I used them primarily to walk my dog while I was at work and had HORRIBLE experiences:
* Instead of walking my dog, the dog walker drove her around for more than half the day while running other errands. Came home after 5 one day to find my dog still gone (walks were supposed to take place mid-​day). No reasonable explanation.
* Dog walker took my dog for less than 15 minute walks, but charged for an hour saying ‘Sometimes I take her longer. It all evens out’.
* Dog walker simply did not show up one day. I was working from home, so I noticed and complained. Not sure if this happened on days I didn’t work from home. 2 Places 1 Time did not seem concerned about this at all.
* Dog walker asked me if she could bring other dogs to my house to play in the backyard instead of walking. I said no. Evidence shows she proceeded anyway:
— – Lots of small dog droppings in my back yard. I have a large dog. My backyard is fenced.
— — Neighbor commented on how much dog walker was at my house.
— — -Items moved around in my living room.
After months of complaints from myself and my co-​workers, the dog walker was fired. However, it took her 3 days to return my house keys. I contacted 2 Places 1 Time multiple times during that three day period expressing my concern that someone who was terminated had full access to my house. They seemed completely unconcerned, often not responding to my emails/​calls. When they did respond, they simply said that they perform background checks so I should be okay (not cool).
When I finally got the keys, they were left in the middle of my mailbox door — the door was wide open. They were carefully placed in the middle and had been there for hours because the mailbox door was overflowing with rain water. It is important to note here that my mailbox is about a foot away from the sidewalk. Again, I contacted 2 Places 1 Time about this and received no response.

I work for a global IT company based in Seattle, WA. «Two Places At One Time» was hired by my employer as an employee perk, in order to assist with errands, etc. Unfortunately, the provider is very disorganized and they completely lack a sense of urgency. This is a classic example of things gone horribly wrong.
As a consequence, my company has decided to no longer contract with «Two Places At One Time» and look for an alternative instead.

Our company was contracted to service a client of Two Places At One Time. We found their staff to be unorganized, rude and they consistently paid us (the contractor) late. We had to chase them for payment despite the fact that they had already charged the actual client’s credit card for services. We advised the clients and their HR company to find another concierge service in the future due to the lack of professionalism and organization.
