When it was time for my mother to give up her beloved apartment and move closer to me, she wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea. Fortunately, we found that perfect place for my mom. The right balance between independence and getting assistance with some of her daily living tasks. The staff is personable and caring. The kitchen staff is excellent, there are always rave reviews about the meals. There is a warm, home-​like atmosphere. The quality is consistent over the years. I am grateful to have found a place that is close, affordable, competent and caring.
Unfortunately, this residence closed unexpectedly. And now my mom lives at a Keystone Woods residence. It is working out, but sadly is pretty far away and definitely not as small and home-​like as this place had been. Mom misses the many friends she’d made with staff and residents alike…
