To the reviewer who DIDNOTUNDERSTANDWINGS: Even in the best places for wings, such as the WILDWINGSCAFE in Suwanee Ga, wings must be small for flavors to come through and thoroughly. This is the business of wings. That’s how to get to most delicious wings. If you ain’t knowledgeable about wings, don’t mislead others please. The cooking wasn’t as fast as I hoped it to be tonight. I would have given 4 stars for speed. The wings seem to be bigger than pictured, the owners might have changed their policy to bigger wings just so uneducated customers would be happier. However, because the other reviewer didn’t seem reasonable, I am giving one more.

Was passing through and staying at a local hotel. Went by the other reviews about the wings being small so I ordered 15 piece lemon pepper and large fries. I was not disappointed. The wings were delivered hot and though they were small I ordered enough. Crispy and juicy with plenty of flavor. The fries were thick and crispy. Delivery time was adequate.

Ordered delivery and 2 hours later… no food, no call. I call the place and apparently the food had still not gone out for delivery because«the people I work with are assholes.» This was the reason the person on the phone gave. She was actually nice but still… waiting on my food with 15 bucks down the drain as the place closes. Guess I’ll just have to chargeback on my credit card and go hungry for the night.

The chicken wings are always delicious and flavored good, only only problem with the chicken is it’s too little needs to be a little bigger on the chicken wings other than that it’s an excellent restaurant to eat in anytime.

I was in the area for a Dawgs game and needed to find a place for lunch. I had my friend guess a number 1 – 100 and he picked 27 which happened to be this place’s ranking on Unilocal in our search — so off we went to Wingster. We ordered some wings and some tenders. The wings were def from baby or midget chickens. I’ve seen small wings before that didn’t have a lot of meat on the bone, but these were small like they came from a sparrow. I liked the wild Carolina sauce, but felt bad afterwards because of all the baby chickens or sparrows I just ate. The only reason this place got 2 stars and not 1 is they have an incredible Buffalo Bills poster in the back by the bathrooms. It’s a poster of Scott Norwood kicking a field goal in a super bowl with the phrase«Buffalo Ba-Da Bing!» on it. If you know anything about the Bills’ super bowl kicking history, you would understand why this poster is so perplexing. If you’re looking for tiny wings, a tiny TV, decent prices, and an amazing Bills poster, this place is for you! I’ll definitely be back.

The tenders are actually tender. Wings have a nice crisp on the outside and many flavor options. We went with sweet Thai chile for the tenders which was fantastic. Lemon pepper for one set of wings was great. Medium buffalo sauce for the second set was perfect heat that the Anchor Bar(originator of buffalo wings) would have been proud of. Would definitely return, but would likely take to go. There are tables, but it doesn’t emphasize the eating in experience.

Enter this place at your on risk… I had a taste for some good lemon pepper wings and decided on Wingsters because I had them about a year ago and they were great. Jason went inside to order them. When he got back in the car he stated«I don’t want to scare you but the score was 81». We didn’t think too much into it because it’s on the campus and they gave students and maybe on the day they inspected, the restaurant wasn’t that clean. Well! We drove maybe a mile or so and it was a very strange smell. I sleeked it but I wasn’t sure and Jason said are those wings smelling like that or is that something outside of the car? I opened the box and OMG!!! The funk got worse. They smelled ROTTEN with lemon pepper sprinkled on them. We had to pull over and throw them out of the car. We should have taken them back but we were too far gone and tired. I know since I threw them out I can’t get my money back. «You lose sometimes«. But I decided to check the score on the health department website and the reason for the low score is «Proper temperature holding«. So, to save yourself I night of the shakes, stay far away from this wing joint.

Have only had the boneless wings(chicken fingers?) and they are damn good. You get a ton of food and the price is awesome!

We just finished what was probably the best wings I have ever had, here at Wingsters. We are traveling thru Athens on our way to Knoxville and decided we would eat a lighteer fare tonight! After reading several other reviews about the food here, we opted to give it a shot. While the décor leaves something to be desired, the food more than makes up for it. Of ourse the typical customer is a college student ordering out for delivery and the décor would not matter. Even with school out for the summer and business slow, there was no warmed up wings here. Everything was fresh and hot and the taste!!! I had the #1 combo with jerk dry rub and if you have a chance, this is to die for! Captain B gives is one a huge 2 thumbs up!

we ordered lemon pepper wings, fried crab rangoons. the crab rangoons cost $ 1.75 just for TWO one inch diameter piece of crab rangoons, compared to other chinese restuarants which usually sell six crab rangoons for $ 3 or so and they are bigger. now the wings were okay. several were severly burned. I kinda have doubts that their wings were ‘never frozen and always fresh’ as advertised because I’ve ate a lot of fresh and frozen wings so I know the difference and they tasted like frozen wings. now I gotta agree with another reviewer about them providing soda in cans. even they had a working soda machine when they told me it was broken so we snuck a refill or two. overall, it was okay, but i won’t be back.

I ordered here numerous times freshman year and have always been pleased with their food. I still do order here once in awhile as well. My favorite is the sesame chicken. It’s about $ 6 bucks and pretty large portion. I always order ahead and it always takes less than 10 minute. Overall, it’s a good place for some fast chicken dishes. Don’t expect anything fancy though. Might be nasty to most, but it’s a college place, what do you expect.

Small little place off of Baxter near the college. They deliver late and the campus gets free delivery. They have a variety of wing flavors and sandwiches, plus some Asian dishes. I usually get the number 1 combo: ½ lb chicken tenders with your choice of sauce(and they have dozens) french fries and a drink. The tenders live up to their name, and the buffalo sauce is always good. Definitely on my favorites list.

Call me crazy but I came upon this little place beside Jimmy Johns and absolutely loved it. They have so much on their menu to choose from I usually get the number 1(½ hot chicken tenders, fries, and a drink). I also love the donuts they serve here as well they are sooo good! The best thing about this place is that they deliver late and they will deliver pretty far so definitely check this place out if chicken wings are your thing. They also have a variety of asian inspired dishes and philly cheesesteaks as well. The only thing I don’t like about this place and this is probably just me but they give you your drinks in a can… as weird as it sounds it bugs me. haha. Anyway, try this place out day or late night you won’t be disappointed.
