Toscano Pizza

Let’s start from the beginning. I’ve ordered 1 pizza from here before (large pepperoni, bell peppers and jalapeños) it was OK at best! I wanted something quick to pick up tonight besides fast food so I put a pickup order in for tonight. I get there and before I pay I ask for some Parmesan cheese /​red pepper flakes to put on the pizza. The cashier tells the other one depending on his mood tonight they would be .50 or FREE. She goes to the back to retrieve it and he YELLS from the back «WE CHARGE NOW! «as he’s walking towards me. I said to him I got them free last time and he responds well we charge now! LUCKILY I haven’t paid yet and I tell him if I have to pay
.50 cents for cheese/​pepper flakes then I don’t want the pizza. He looks at me and says fine and takes his pizza off the counter. This guy looks and acts very unprofessional and lost a customer for life! He definitely didn’t take any business 101 classes in his life. Well I ended up and GONDOLIER PIZZA in Athens and glad it all happened. Way BETTER pizza and atmosphere! BEWARE OF TUSCANO PIZZA ITS COMPARABLE TO LITTLE CAESARS PIZZA!!! Hopefully this crap hole is closed in the next year as long as no one puts up with this jerks nonsense! Happy eating!

It would have gotten 5 stars but the ambiance is less than fantastic for the great food that they are serving. Takeout would almost be better due to the diner type of atmosphere. The food was really good! We started with Italian nachos– OMG! Delicious. Then we had pizza and eggplant parm sandwich, all delicious. Finished with a cannoli, not sure if made in house but everything was better than expected. Portion sizes generous, if you enjoy Italian and independent Italian Food places, go here, you will not be disappointed in the food.

Great food. Quaint. Could use a better location.
I had the lasagna. Oh, how good it was too. Terry had the pasta primavera. Such a large serving he only ate a third of it. He said it was very good too.
I think most of their business is take out and delivery. Thus the small dining room.
The salad leaves a lot to be desired. The garlic bread is very good too.

We have had great Chicago style pizza in Chicago and wonderful New York style in Manhattan. The delicious pizza at this tiny gem is a type somewhere in between and worth seeking out. An unbelievable authentic and fresh homemade product sure to please.

This was my first time ordering from Toscano Pizza. They deliver which is a plus. We ordered the barbecue chicken pizza and it was delish!!! The dough was thin and well made. It’s worth a try. I now wish there were a location in my home town.
