Dr. Linscott is one of the best overall and gentlest dentists of whom I’ve been a patient. My introduction to Dr. Linscott’s practice came as result of a severe root canal infection. I experienced a very sudden onset and rapid escalation of oral pain beginning on a Friday evening which necessitated emergency treatment the next Monday. Dr. Linscott was the only dentist in Athens whom would take me on such short notice. He rescheduled appointments and saw me two hours after I first called. The centrality of his office on Court Street makes him even more accessible to patients.
Dr. Linscott treated me successfully to resolution of my case via root canal procedure. In treating me, Dr. Linscott could not have been gentler; in fact decidedly not treating the root canal immediately but first prescribing a strong oral antibiotic to reduce the infection before starting treatment. In my time since as his patient, he has continued to offer the best and gentlest treatment possible.
Dr. Linscott’s staff are collectively very professional and loyal. His office isn’t fancy, but it is clear he remains current on emerging topics and his office is clean, well managed, and has all the tools and talent necessary to do a most effective job. Dr. Linscott remains my dentist today and will remain so, despite my pending relocation to Minnesota.
