This is the real deal. The owner and staff are wonderful. This is the best Mexican food in Athens. They have Mendou too. Every reasonable priced. Also one Saturday a month they have Karooke. A great family place.

I had high expectations given the positive reviews here. The décor is nice and the restaurant has an authentic feel. However, beyond that, I was quite disappointed with my experience. The bean dip was very bland. The Texas margarita tasted like a lime shaved ice flavor. My boyfriend and I were displeased enough with our drinks and appetizer that we decided against ordering entrees, so I cannot speak to those. But, I will not be going back.

Love this place! My boyfriend I come here and we always get El Barco– steak, chicken, and shrimp with queso and tortillas. I always get LA Canbaña special, chicken and shrimp with shredded cheese guac salad and tortillas. SO DELICIOUS. The menu is huge and filled with all kinds of yummy options. And the margarita selection is affordable and good. Get the Texas frozen! A must try!!!

This is the worse Mexican restaurant in town. It’s okay if no one Mexican is cooking in the kitchen but the person preparing the food should have an inclination as to what they are doing. Just because you’ve put food on a plate that «looks» like a Latin dish doesn’t make it so. How is this place still in business? Probably because the people eating there don’t know a thing about or have never had the real deal. The lowest I can review this restaurant is at one star and I wish I could tap into the software to remove it. Bleh !!!

My wife and I went her for our weekly night out. The service was welcoming, pleasant, and extremely attentive. She had the steak nachos and I had a vegetarian fajita. Both were outstanding. A ton of food (too much for us) for a very reasonably price. Highly recommended.
