This is a decent store. The last thing I bought there was a new suit and the sales associate was really helpful. I expect that level of service at a Nordstrom or something, but not at Express. The less expensive clothes aren’t quite as durable as I’d like, but you get what you pay for. My only gripe about the store itself is the lack of selection. It’s not their fault since they stock what they have room for, but a trip to Mall of Georgia, for example, will show you how little they carry at the Athens store. It can be frustrating when trying to find your size.

I very rarely review stores but felt my bad experience at this one was worth documenting & letting others know about. The Express at Ga Square Mall has some of the rudest, most disrespectful people working there I’ve ever encountered in retail. Don’t get me wrong I love Express I spend a lot of money in there pretty much every month. I just will never step foot in this one again. So I bought a 42 dollar belt I tried it out at work for about an hour it didn’t fit as well as I’d like it to so I took it off and after work I went back to the store to return it(regular customers do this all the time). I guess just because you work at another store in the mall means you’re not a normal customer & you are not able to return things you don’t like. The belt was completely fine I didn’t even use the belt holes. The sales guy basically gives me shit about it. He said I saw you wearing it & I asked him if I needed to speak with a manager. He said no then started asking about my boss & acting like he was going to take the issue up with her. Finally, I got my money back told the guy he was an idiot & that I would no longer shop there. I would definitely drive the extra 45 minutes to the Mall of GA if you want to shop at Express at least there you(the customer) will get the respect you deserve.
