This place has great stuff if you don’t mind digging a little. Bought a great affordable couch, as well as many beautiful, incredibly cheap dishes and items of clothing. This place rewards those with the patience to really look. Cash only I think.

What garbage & volunteers who sell out from under you items that you pick up and want to buy. example I went in yesterday for the first time and found an office chair I wanted, no sign, no hold, not on top of anything else that was being sold or held etc. so I run it up to the front to purhase it. a college student who had benn following me while I tested the chairs runs up and claims it as his. Guess what the staff did? They took it away from me and said it was the college kids. They said he did not understand how the system works since he was from another country. yea right. when you want something even if you pick it up you might not still get it. scam

Wow, this place is huge! Trying to furnish your new home on the cheap? This«re-store» is the place to do it. Whether you need a new couch, coffee table, window, or toilet seat, this thrift store is so much more. It also serves as as a builder close out, so they actually have a lot of building materials if your home upgrading is a little more handy-man than my hang-some-cool-artwork method. As Janet mentioned, they do know what their stuff is worth, so on the furniture end, you probably won’t walk away with any amazing bargains. But for reasonably priced second hand furniture with a huge selection to chose from, this is the place to go. And, all the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, how cool is that? Something to keep an eye out for: At least once a year they have a huge sale where everything in the store is 50%, so keep an eye out for that ton really get those good bargains!

I wandered into this place one afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I’ve lived a block from it for over three years now and never once went in, figuring I wouldn’t find much there. Boy, was I wrong! I’d hoped to stumble upon a cheap corner shelf or little occasional table, but most of the furniture I saw was much larger and much more expensive than I’d anticipated. That’s not to say it was prohibitively expensive – it just wasn’t what I wanted, but if I did need a dresser, mirror, or bed, I think they’d have me covered. There is a rather big furniture section. The store itself is organized according to type of product. There are huge, easy-to-read, overhanging signs showing you what you can find in each part of the store. I headed for the knick-knacks and found tons of lamps and doohickeys I would have purchased if I were still 16 and into hyper-decoration of every available space. Instead of my teenage self shopping, my adult self was shopping and knew I didn’t need any of the items. The costs of some things are not readily available, but there are volunteer workers wandering around who can help you. I saw that books were $ 1 for non-oversized hardbacks, 50 cents for paperbacks. I had a ball, picking out 10 books immediately and then honing the collection down to six. I went to check out and the man at the window charged me $ 2.14. For six books, two of which were in impeccable condition. Awesome! I’m going back.
