Woody was great! we went there for my son’s first haircutS There was quite a long wait, which my 20 month son did pretty well. Woody had toys for him to play with, which kept him occupied for an hour or so. Once he got on the seat, he was no happy. But woody got the haircut done quickly and the other men waiting helped to keep him entertained. Overall a success! Will be there again.

Woody’s is an old time men’s barbershop dyed in the wool! Imagine Floyd’s Barbershop in Mayberry. There’s Floyd (actually owner Ron Wood) cutting hair while the locals talk about the weather, politics, things happening around town, or my favorite topic, old stories about A-​Town. There’s even fresh donuts and coffee if you get there early on Saturday morning, but expect a line. It’s a popular place on those days. Lots of magazines, the TV playing old TV shows, or car racing, or the History Channel! And toys for little boys, if the line is too long. Just make sure your kids mind their P’s and Q’s though. Ron is a patient guy, so just make sure your kids behave! Haha. Seriously though he does a great job and his prices are the best in town!

Woodys (Ron) is AMAZING! He gave my son his first haircut and many in between since my son is now 2. I will never take him anywhere else! My son cries and is scared of the experience and Ron is so soft spoken, and never gets frazzled or annoyed with the process. He in fact has helped me get my son use to the sound of clippers and it gets easier every time! All the men in my family go to him! It’s affordable for a single a Mom like myself! I can’t say enough good things about my experience there!

I take my youngest son here for his haircuts and they always do a great job. We have only lived here a year but feel welcomed and comfortable whenever we come in to this barber shop. The owner is great to talk to and makes his clients — even the little ones– look great!

Excellent haircut! She was very friendly and I felt very comfortable in the establishment. Clean and fast. Drove over on my lunch break. This was the first time someone shaved my neck with a straight razor. I liked it and I’m very happy about my haircut.

Ron has been cutting mine and my sons hair for 10 years. Every time I walk in here I feel like I’m walking into the Andy Griffith show. Sometimes there is a wait, sometimes there isn’t– I don’t really care-​slow down in life a little bit. Get to know your neighbors and what’s going on in the city. He always has donuts or coffee on sat morning and he really does care about what’s going with you and the family. Ask him a story on how being a single dad was someday and what he sacrificed to raise his kids. And to top it off, he cuts a mean guy’s fade.

Woody has been cutting my hair for over 10 years. This is a real barber shop where I can find out how other businesses are doing in town, get the low down on the local restaurants … and enjoy a donut and coffee on Saturday mornings (if you’re not in a hurry since Saturdays can be busy). Try early on a weekday morning if you’re in a rush. This is not a politically correct kind of place … it’s a bit of old time home town that’s always interesting to listen to, even if i don’t agree ;-)

My husband goes here pretty regularly since we have moved to the area. His prices are great, and his hair always looks good when he gets home. He said that the guy who does his hair is nice which is always a plus. It usually takes a while for him to get in the chair but it sounds like its just the one guy. But he is worth the wait. Great prices, good conversation, and a great cut. Can’t go wrong there!

A real Barber shop…
If you grew up going to the barber, and not some salon, then you know what I am talking about. The barber is friendly, and cuts a solid hair at a more than fair price.
You really can’t ask for more from a barber shop.
