Forgot one of our drinks when we ordered in drive thru and drinks were not up to par.

So today my sister and I decided to go to this Starbucks and I must say that the ladies working there were the best ever. I asked them to do a special order for a friend and they went above and beyond my expectations of coffee goodness to present me with a magical experience. Thank you for making our day.

Lots of girls working here but not efficiently. Personal talk going on and poor customer service. When I approached the counter the cashier literally walked away. The girl right next to her looked stunned and stepped up to take my order. Not good.

This has always been my favorite Starbucks location in town because of the fast service, friendly people, and great drinks. However, yesterday was the worst experience I have ever had. I walked up to the counter to order my drink and the girl looked very annoyed when she asked what I wanted. After paying for my drink, she handed me my change and put money from the drawer into the tip jar. After waiting for close to 10 minutes I finally received my drink that had dead shots and was handed to me by another girl who was very annoyed to be there. I felt extremely unwelcome in a store that I actually used to work at. I think from now on, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I’m bummed out by all the less than perfect reviews for this Starbucks! I frequent here almost daily and I have to say I have never been disappointed. Everyone in there is friendly, from the staff to the patrons. There is always someone to socialize with. The staff are very talkative e and get to know their customers and are always optimistic about the ever evolving difficulties that are presented by evolving technology, I.e. Mobile ordering!!! Even on the very rare occasion that I’ve had a drink that tasted like it was a bit flat or missing an ingredient, the staff have always been more than willing to remake it. Public service is hard and these very sweet staff give it their best everyday in a crazy busy environment. Keep it up guys! You do a wonderful job!

Wow, potentially the worst Starbucks experience I’ve had. This morning, I walked up to the front of the line to order, and despite the FOUR employees behind the counter, it took several minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me. Once one of them did, she coldly asked if she could take my order. Her rude demeanor was that of a mean girl in high school – I almost felt like she was giving me a dirty look or something. Anyway, she took my order and I went and waited for my drink. Once receiving my drink, I noticed that the only creamer they had out was half and half. I asked the barista if she had any soy, and she said that she had some behind the bar. I asked if i could poor some into my drink, and she said«I have to do it, since other people’s drinks are being made with this.» Sure, I respect that she has to honor held code rules, but why no canister of soy to begin with? And why the bad attitude when I asked for it? The fact that these places treat this stuff like gold is absurd – there is no cost difference between soy and regular milk… if anything, un-chilled soy is sometimes less expensive. Anyway, after telling her«when,» i looked for a place to sit. I like to sit by the window, generally, and saw a spot open… only, there were half a dozen flies on the window sill and table I was planning to sit at. I chose a seat in the back corner, observing that there seemed to be fewer flies, and after sitting, realized how dirty the place was. It looked like it hadn’t been swept since yesterday. No wonder there were flies constantly landing on me as I ate my snack, and worked on my computer. I left much quicker than I planned to, as the vibe was incredibly negative, the place was overly air conditioned for a gloomy day, and there were crumbs and flies everywhere I looked. Time to get some new employees, Atascadero Starbucks… and some fly tape! Gonna go buy a second coffee elsewhere, and hope for a better experience. What a waste of money!

I am stunned at the complete rudeness of the CUSTOMERS in this Starbucks! What the hell is wrong with the people in this town. No «Please». no «Thank you». Just Gimme! It’s coffee people! or at least it used to be. Now this company has become an over priced 7⁄11 with a drive thru. There was small fender bender in the drive thru and the baristas took the heat for it because some lazy cow, who couldn’t get out of her car to get her drink, had to wait in line a longer than normal time while the minor accident was being dealt with. So when she got to the window she made the barista cry by yelling at her. I hope someone does that to HER daughter. My last visit I observed a woman place her order for some drink off the ‘secret menu” and the barista explained that Starbucks doesn’t have a secret menu. People make up drinks and then post them online. Unless she had the recipe, the barista couldn’t make the drink. The woman became immediately loud, and bossy and said her daughter worked at a Paso Starbucks and THEY knew how to make her drink. So the barista repeats, if she has the recipe they can make it. So said woman starts to tell her components of the drink but scolds the barista when she starts entering into register, telling her she should wait until the entire recipe is recited before she enters into register… I was sitting near enough to hear this whole tirade and it was about all I could do to tell the woman to take her bitchy, know it all attitude and hit bricks. People. that’s why they call it a SECRETMENU!!! Don’t freak out when no one knows the item you want off of it! It’s a F@CKINGSECRET! There must be something in the water here because the people are both rude and stupid. Maybe it’s the meth!

It’s a Starbucks. The service is consistent with the others I have been to. The one star downgrade is due to the parking. It’s tucked into the rear of a busy shopping center. The spots are small as is the driveway.

Was a matter of location and convenience. Staff was friendly however wasn’t impressed with appearance for example pastries behind glass window appeared sketchy that is leftover from morning rush hour. I asked the barista, «Is this a replica?» Too, restroom orderliness and cleanliness typically indicates level of staff buy-in for most service related companies, I was not impressed. I have seen better, well maintained, men’s restrooms at other local Starbucks. Overall, I enjoyed my Ice Brewed Coffee, laughed, and relaxed but organizationally speaking this specific franchise requires refresher training about the importance of detail given stiff local competition for coffee dollars.

Ordered a iced mocha with no whipped cream and a frappacino. Have the staff were standing around. The store was not busy. Ten minutes for the iced mocha that came WITH whipped cream and bitter coffee. Had to ask for the frappacino. That was met with an eye roll. The faucet nearest the pickup counter had a bad leak at the base… they haven’t gotten the memo on the drought. Too bad that some of that water isn’t used to clean.

First time at this Starbucks. I have been to many and have never had the problem of a «yukkie» bathroom. It was a mess. Reminded me of bathrooms at service stations. Toilet was dirty, paper strewn on the floor, sink not clean. This was the women’s bathroom but was told the men’s bathroom was in the same condition. Just something I never expected at a Starbucks.

So I usually have a pleasant experience in this Starbucks I love the vibe here and the baristas are usually friendly and fast but this morning I went inside and ordered an ice coffee and the girl named Grace making the drink was rude and made a comment about the amount of sugar I wanted in my coffee. She ALSO was insulting other Co workers in front of me instead of focusing on herself just very unprofessional. Wow she must be a transfer. Because she doesn’t fit in with the other friendly smiling baristas.

I have a one year old so I come to this Starbucks drive thru at least 3x a week! I normally get my usual grande black tea in a venti cup with extra ice and add peach. I would say 95% of the time it’s perfect, just occasionally missing the peach. I’m not a super picky person and realize the employees can get super busy and it’s an easy mistake to make. There are some new faces there that haven’t been giving me the excellent service that I usually receive, so it’s always comforting to see some of the smiling familiar faces of older employees. One that has stood out to me is Kelly, she is always so friendly and has never gotten my drinks wrong! Her bubbly personality is what has kept me returning to this Starbucks drive thru. Alyssa and April are also very friendly faces to see as well :))

Plenty of staff to staff 2 registers, but only staffed one. Need another espresso machine for the main part of the store because, quite frankly, one is not enough with a store that size. Staff was friendly.

When I was at Cal Poly, I spent many, many hours here to the point that the staff knew who I was and knew my drink! Every time I visit the area, and stop in, the ones that are still there, recognize me and ask me about how I’m doing. It’s very much a family feel type of place and I love. Also, I’ve never had any issues with my caramel macchiatos or iced coffees here, so thanks for that too!

I’m a loyal Starbucks fan. However, I am upset because they didn’t even offer me a receipt so I can’t enter the Starbucks For Life contest. Grrrrrrr!

I come here at least once a week in the early morning hours. Every time I come the service had been somewhat nominal, although there are a couple individuals that are good. Unfortunately recently was the last straw. The baristas were not warm and welcoming at all and seemed to be upset they had to serve my order. I don’t usually write reviews but it needed to be said.

Great customer service, and my drink was off the charts awesome, even after having ordered an off the menu drink. Great seating area, nice and cozy. Bathrooms usually clean. Good selection of treats, usually well stocked into the evening hours.

This store will likely be my home base when I move up to SLO, so there’s not much to complain about. I don’t remember the two times we came in to be honest. I know one time all I wanted was their green juice and a cup of ice, which they gave me no questions asked. I think I ordered my usual(venti iced coffee, no milk or sweetener, two add shots) and it was great. Service wasn’t memorable, so I assume it was on the good side of the line but nothing special. They’re close enough to where I’m moving to not add too much time to my morning commute. I’ll update this review as I get more check-ins.

Used to go here every morning on my way to the office. Grande coffee with cream every day. Grande coffee with or without something every other day. Everybody makes mistakes, some more than others.
