Took my two children back I’m December and was so disappointed. The rink was dingy, ill-lit, dirty and the staff was not very friendly. My 3 year old daughter had to cling to a paint bucket as a way to stabilize her on the ice, which was of no great help. The prices were a bit much compared to other rinks I’ve been to in my life, which I typically wouldn’t mind paying to support a local business except that even the owner was completely rude! I think next time I’ll bite the bullet and drive down to the Madonna ice skating rink

So disappointing. paid $ 200 for my daughters birthday party just to have a total filthy mess from the party before. Food on tables that I cleaned up myself and food all over the floor. We got our own«private entrance» in the back alley covered by a tarp. We were supposed to get a «helper» but no one ever showed. No one knew what they were supposed to be doing. We were told to come 30 minutes early to set up and when we got there, nope, that wasn’t happening.

I love Blades on Ice! I came with a group of about 40 from Cal Poly and the whole process of renting out skates was seamless. The music was awesome, the rink was clean, and the people were friendly. I definitely recommend this place for anyone whos looking for a cool and inexpensive place to skate this winter!

Amazing indoor ice skating rink near the Atascadero Lake area on Morro Road(Hwy. 41). Highly recommended skating rink, 5000 sq. feet. Great for people of all ages. They rent skates, etc. It opened fall 2012 and I believe will close once it becomes to warm, to open again next fall. They host hockey, and more. We are so fortunate to have this in our area.
