i no longer have to pay $ 100 to get a haircut in manhattan because of rhonda and glamour r & e beauty salon. it’s almost a crime how inexpensive it is to get a really cool haircut here! this is my second time getting a haircut here and i wanted a short cut. i knew what i wanted to get and showed rhonda the 2 pictures i had. she knew what she was doing and gave me exactly what i wanted! i have a rather large face but she took her time, made the short haircut work and i love the cut! for a shampoo(complete with head and neck massage… ahh so good) and a great hair cut… $ 20. TWENTYDOLLARS. i actually gave rhonda a $ 10 tip because she deserved it and it was just so inexpensive. i will be going here from now on!

Finally was able to find someone to do my hair just as good as my Dominican hair stylist in Washington Heights. Rhonda is great. You can always call or text her to make an appointment or walk in. If you want Rhonda you need to either wait or make an appointment because she is very popular and does a great job. The scalp massage and the back massage after your hair wash is worth the visit. The staff is friendly and tries to make sure you are seen promptly. During visit times make sure you let them know you are there and what you need. It gets busy and they fab sown times mix up who is next my suggestion would be to have like a sign in during visit times especially for the Mani Pedi area. Eileen is great at doing your hand and feet a so is Rosa and Ida and Fidela. They are all my favorites. Rhonda does a great job with my hair and it can last days. Everyone I recommends here loves it.

Ronda is they only person in the world that understands my Dominican curly hair! I always call to make an appointment with her since she is the only real hairstylist there. I have followed her for the 5 years I have lived in Astoria from the first salon she worked at to when she was able to own her salons. I LOVEHER and is the only person I will trust in Astoria with my hair! She makes my hair look silky and shiny when I straighten it and makes the most beautiful vintage curls:)

terrible. arrived at 11:50 left around 1:45. was told to wait meanwhile they already sat and started someone else. the girl who did my nails seemed like she didn’t know what the hell she was doing not only that but my eyebrows !! wow after she was done I asked her for tweezers and finished her job. got home to peel excess wax off my face and continued to fix my own eyebrows. my nails look like a child did them and my feet look like shit. gave them another chance and this will be the last time I go. so many places in Astoria it’s a shame. I doubt they all are licensed and the place is far from clean and sanitized. 311 deserves a phone call

Have been waiting 32 mins for someone to start my mani/pedi and I have seen 2 people go before me, meanwhile I’m sitting in the massage chair with my feet in the basin w/now cool water. Decided I would give this place a try because its around the corner from my job but I should of just took the train ride to Blossom on Ditmars.

I was in shock when I left this place. I thought the other review was dramatic but no. It’s filthy and gross. However it is extremely cheap, which I don’t care about so I will not be back. The summary: no one speaks a word, I mean not a word of English. The pedicurist seemed like it was her first time. She almost cut me like 15 times during cuticle cutting. Then I sat at the manicure table with my wet pedicure and was greeted by a giant hair ball rolling around under the table like a tumble weed. Also the paper towel under my hands had clearly been there, maybe even all week, used for other people. Then, you are not going to believe this, I was the hair washing ladies putting on old gloves, I’m talking about the disposable clear ones, only their pair was clearly reused to wash and dye hair, then used for the next person. I wanted to say«uh the gloves r not to protect YOUR hands as much as they are to protect people’s heads from nastiness of other customers and of you». Wtf! Then I got the 30 min massage(because I cant stand waiting for my nails to dry). They have one towel on the table, and reuse it for every customer. She wanted me to lie shirt off, just skin, on someone else’s nasty towel It was gross. There’s more but I’m busy. If u are a cheap dirty filthy person, this is your place. The mani and pedi actually look nice.

I loved this place. The prices are reasonable and staff really nice. I had my hair washed and blown(best scalp massage complimentary) and then I got a gel mani and regular pedi. All within a reasonable time frame and by very nice staff. I will be coming back!

It just opened recently and this place do everything, manicure, pedicure, haircuts, waxing, massage, facial, reflexology. Rhonda and Eileen are the best! They have the best staff. They are very good on what they do. Very friendly and accomodating, their price is reasonable. The place is very clean, I actually followed them from 30th ave. I heard other customers that they followed them from broadway too before they worked in 30th. Ave. It’s open 7 days a week from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm. Which works for me every time.
