Wipe Out Laundromat

Used to do my laundry at S&M (?) on 24^th ave & 37^th street but needed to find a different place asap with nicer staff and cleaner machines. Found this gem right across the highway and so glad I did!!! Never crowded, my clothes come out clean and open late; (until 11) :)

Not gonna accuse anyone of anything but I’ve lost many undergarments after dropping my laundry off at this place

I lived on 28^th ave and 38^th st for several yrs before I moved and I miss this place. I tried so many places in the hood including 2 on 28^th ave (before «the laundry room» opened) and several places on Steinway. This one has reasonable prices and the nicest staff — margarita is the best! She’s so friendly and makes spending time here for hrs enjoyable. The machines are always clean, all of the dryers are hot but some are hotter than others. I’ve been to so many places and wasted $ on dyers and ended up w cold clothes. Ask margarita — she’ll help you. They have a bathroom. It can be tight in there so go during off hours. They have drop off too and I’ve been here for hours doing my laundry while margarita washes drop off items and she takes good care to do it right. No place to sit outside if that matters to you. A deli across the st for cold drinks while you wait. And a change machine but if it doesn’t work they’ll give you change happily.

Your standard laundromat. Open till 11 everyday, go after 9:00pm on most days and you should be able to wash and dry your clothes without having to wait for a machine.
$ 1.75 for the smaller machines, $ 2.50 for the bigger ones… $ 7 a pop for a dry cleaned suit; not bad, though they do take around 4 – 5 days to have your suit ready. Def have a spare interview suit on hand
