No good with Delivery, they signed up for Foodio and they had no idea they had the service. I ordered online, they call me and tell me they don’t know who foodio is and so they wont fulfill my order. I hang up and pre a new order and agree to pay cash, they decide to never pick up the phone. I felt disrespected by this establishment.

Have had pretty decent Thai food from here on two different occasions. Didn’t come across the inconsistency that others complain about but both my experiences were over a year ago. Maybe things have been on the decline.

Food is very solid, portions are generous, and the prices are inexpensive. Their waitstaff is very sweet. I left my small bag of leftovers on the table, and our waitress kindly chased me down on the sidewalk. It didn’t make a huge difference to her, but I was very appreciative. I’ll be coming back for more just to support their business!

Service is good. Food is good too. We ordered Thai fried rice, pad won sen and a side of stir-fried veg. They all tasted authentic. Thankfully we did not look at the reviews and give this restaurant a miss. I love Thai food and have sampled many big and small Thai restaurants in Manhattan, Astoria and upstate NY. Am glad that they are many great Thai restaurants in Astoria and half less crowded than Manhattan.

This is definitely not good Thai food! We ordered for delivery and had the Chicken Pad Kee Mao and Beef Pad Thai. This is the first Thai place I’ve had where they included tomatoes in the Pad Kee Mao. It was a disaster because the tomatoes made the noodles extremely soggy and mushed. There was no flavor, and it did not have the spicy kick of a Pad Kee Mao. The Pad Thai was so dry and not an ounce of sauce or flavor. The beef was extremely dry with a chewy texture. Both dishes are practically inedible. I should have read the Unilocal reviews rather than Seamless. They have a 4 star on Seamless, which is deceiving. Please don’t eat here!

DISCLAIMER: This was delivery. Food: 3 Price: 4 Delivery time: 4 Service(based on delivery guy): 4 Overall: 3.5 This place was simply okay. It started off really amazing but when I got to the main course, my opinion changed. I ordered the Pad Thai Lunch Special, Thai Iced Tea in a 16 oz. Cup, and one order of Curry Puffs. I’ve never had Curry Puffs, so I have nothing to base it against but it was really good. The bread to curry filling ratio was just perfect. I enjoyed them thoroughly and they were filling, as well. I had to make room for the drink and Pad Thai. I would not recommend the Pad Thai. It was dry. I actually didn’t even know it was possible for Pad Thai to be dry like omg my esophagus. I think the meal would have been that much more tantalizing if they did not hold back on the sauce(btw, I made the mistake of ordering the Pad Thai again and had the same problem; shards of chicken were cutting at my throat). Moving on, I had no complaints about the iced tea. It was good. Of course, I wish I had more.

Came here for lunch with co workers. Service was typical NYC outer boroughs: abrupt and almost rude. You have to smile at the people. I tipped accordingly after 2 good mornings went unanswered(place was empty they just opened). Also, most of the lights were out and the place was dark. Why 4 stars? The food was outstanding. Massaman curry was delicious. Excellent value for a 7 dollar lunch special.

Do not order from here… ever! The food is totally inconsistent. Sometimes it’s really good other times it’s soggy, too salty or spicy. Last time I ordered from here it looked like someone ate out of it before they delivered it. They are incredible rude and told me to never order from them if I have a problem with their food and then hung up. No problem with me. There are plenty of places to eat Thai food in NYC.

The food is real good quite the tantalizing teaser for your taste buds.(Yes that’s mine I’ve been saying it since I was in the single digits). We ate the papaya salad with shrimp as an appetizer and we had the pineapple duck and brown rice as an entrée quite delicious. The food gets 3 stars as for the wait staff 0 stars. The customer service skills needs improvement though as I thought the older waitress was either having a bad day or she’s just rude.

They have the worst service and deserve 0 star. The lady Effy who answered the phone is rude. When I ordered food on Unilocal and called to confirm my order. She insisted she doesn’t see my order and ask me to call EAT24. After I checked my email and made sure I did make an order and called back. She put me on the phone to listen to another customer’s order. After I waited for few min and hung up, she called me back and questioned why I hung up the call. She is very rude and irresponsible. The food quality and price are not worthy too.

I went here yesterday for a quick lunch. I was absolutely surprised to get soup, salad, spring roll, and entrée for only $ 7.00! I asked for my Kra Prao Gai extra, extra spicy, and unlike a lot of other places, they actually made extremely spicy which Was incredible. I will most definitely be going here again and again! Décor is very nice and service was very fast and friendly.

I have heard such great things about Thai Elephant so I figured I would give it a try. I don’t think the owners are actually Thai. I’m pretty sure after eating the food, they are Chinese. The red curry was like soup. Literally. Curry is suppose to have somewhat of a thick texture. It smelled like cat piss. That was the cherry on top. The lunch special came with(1) burnt mini egg roll and some sort of soup concoction which was basically water with celery & carrots. Yuck. The best Thai is Sri Pra Phai in wood side. You will thank me. Trust me. PS. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the Thai tea was good lol.

This is one of the worst thai restaurants I’ve ever ordered from. First took an hour to deliver. I ordered the chicken pad Thai, I’m still looking for the chicken. Taste burnt and gross. They messed up on my soup order and taste gross. Charged $.50 for a side of hot sauce that is to hot to even use. I suggest ordering else where. If I could give them a –star I would. Don’t wast your money or time

The worst service ever. We googled the hours and it stated 11:30pm. We are regulars at this restaurant, well I would say WERE regulars at this restaurant. We told the waiter who is ALWAYS rude and has no manners that we saw on google that it said 11:30pm. The waitress immediately yelled at me stating that they don’t have any information on google. Rude, rude, rude.

I’ve come in a few times for takeout, the food is decent but the service is terrible. There is a lady behind the desk who goes out of her way to give a bad attitude. Never a hello, never a smile, never a ‘how can I help you’, never a repeat of your order to make sure they got it right. She obviously could care less about the business. Also, no matter how much food I order, if I ask for a little hot sauce on the side, they charge 50cents. You can order $ 200 in food and will have to pay extra for cheap grocery hot sauce in a container. They are lucky that there is only one other Thai option in the area and it’s not much better.

It is a nice décor place with comfy ambient. However, the spring rolls tasted nothing like I had before which is a bummer. It didn’t taste crispy and the vegetables inside were cold, and there’s some noodles stuff inside? I don’t understand what was that and I don’t even bother to ask the only waitress who doesn’t seem very inviting. These three stars are for pad Thai and mango salmon tho.

Horrible Service! The servers don’t know how to serve people. I would never go back and nor recommend this place to anyone. Food was below average too. Disappointed!

Pretty mixed on this place. I’ve had to cut them off before because they kept getting delivery orders wrong but I can’t stay away from their crispy basil duck. On balance its decent and you should give it a try.

I love thai food! This place has a great lunch special. Green salad, soup and spring roll with your entrée for $ 8. You really can’t go wrong with it! The red curry, pad se eew, and panang curry are delicious! The waitresses should be trained better on how to greet a customer when they enter. It’s all about service!

My fiancé and I are regulars. We never had bad experience at this cozy place until today. We ordered two dishes to go but the Chinese Broccoli has dark spots, the leaves are brownish and the stem is dry and brownish. The chicken was awfully dried as it was sitting for days, worst of all, my noodle taste sandy. Perhaps the vegetable need to be picked and washed? The papaya salad was soaked in water. The taste of the papaya salad is salty and light sweet, whereas the stand taste should be sweet, sour and hot. This should not be served at all.

Food is actually really yummy and I love their noodle dishes. Food-wise I give this place a 4⁄5. Service wise I give it a 2/5, and that’s the rating I’m sticking with in total because manners when serving are a must for me. One of the waitresses is rude and not friendly. It sounds like she has an attitude with everything she says and how she looks at you is nasty. I don’t know if she knows it. but to be a server you need to know how to communicate with people; show manners, explain things, etc. This server just seems like she hates her job and I’m sorry for that, but get a new one if you can’t do this one right. So will I order for takeout? Maybe. Will I go in person? Never.

I personally found the food tasteless, the curry puffs were blah, the service wasn’t good, I ordered the bass fillet and they didn’t have it. No wonder the place was empty.

Some of the worst, and absolutely insulting, Thai«food» I’ve ever had. Waste of money(and that’s with having wasted my 30% discount code on them). I actually wish I hadn’t put the majority of dishes in my body. Worst week of lunches ever. Delivery was within reasonable time… though they forgot my thai iced tea. Steamed dumplings were edible… but bland… and nothing I couldn’t get better at any local cheap Chinese place… or the freezer section of Key Foods. The Massaman Curry was the only edible dish. However, not until I’d let it sit in my fridge for a few days, hoping the curry would thicken up. It was like peanut water when delivered. I wound up mixing in the peanut curry from another dish into it to get to the proper consistency. And the peanuts aren’t cooked in the curry. They’re as hard as when you pop open a can of Planters. The duck was out numbered by the onions. Why did I have extra sauce? because the Chicken Param has no chicken. It was literally all fried chicken skins. Mind you, tasty. So, if you ever want chicken skin cracklin? Order it up here! Tossed that and the limp broccoli served with it in the trash. $ 9 down the tube. Worst Pad Kee Mao I’ve ever eaten. Spicy, but not with any art or flavor. Just tasted like they threw in extra jalapenos to increase spice level. The noodles were so overcooked, they were nearly mush. Not a big presence of veggies or beef. Beef was a bit tough. Couldn’t finish the dish(and I am a HUGE supporter of No Noodle Left Behind). My garbage was getting full at this point. Crispy Basil Duck was deceiving. Looked right. Smelled decent. Tasted pretty good… until bite four… when the overwhelming power of MSG assaulted my tongue, stranger danger style. I forced myself through about half of it before my tongue was literally stinging from the level of MSG/salt/whatevah they have up in there. More food for my garbage. Thai pumpkin custard arrived dried around the edges. Insta trash dessert. On top a all dat? They shorted me one rice container for the entrees… and the ones they gave were loosely packed(not tight packing like usual delivery, and only 2⁄3 of the way full. Obviously should have gone with my awesome mainstay instead of trying this just to get 30% off(even with that discount, that bill was still $ 55, including tip). Barely scoring two stars due to timely delivery, and passable massaman. Avoid. Run. Save yourselves!
