Starbucks

One of the most kindest and nicest Starbucks! This location should be a model for all Starbucks where the baristas are sincere and kind to their customers. They make sure that you leave the premise with 100% satisfaction. Big hands down to Mark, Karly, Jeff, and many others (I’m sorry I do not get your names). Thank you for making my mornings.

Ok so I just had a delicious cappucino. I asked if they could make it with soy and, Kellen, my barista, said «of course»! She was very polite and pleasant. It was made quickly and the music here was relaxing. A very cool vibe in a great location. Whenever I’m in this neighborhood I make a bee line straight here.

I was given a $ 5 Starbucks Gift Card, decided to spend it here at one of my local Starbucks, this location. They took it with ease, so bravo for that and had a few change which the big baller I am left it on the desk. The Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino I order sucked, no taste, like drinking down brown liquid. Like a watered down beer. The chocolate chips had no taste and the ice refused to melt after 30 minutes. I should have just went with my usual Java Chip.
Been to this location many times and the small place has a really calm place to hang out. The bathroom is usually clean but the sugar and milk run low quick.

I’m not so sure how many stars I should be giving… While this location is clean and spacious, and their services are friendly most of the time. But there was this one time with a female cashier who was terribly rude to me. To clear things up, I don’t see her a regular there. So, I first told her I would like to have an iced green tea latte, but then I changed it immediately to hot one before she even picked up the cup to wrote the note. She first rolled her eyes and gave me an attitude. What made things worst was that she threw my change back to me and walked away. I thought about confronting her, yet, didn’t want to make a scene. I go to this location very often and this is the most disrespectful experience I’ve had.

I spend a lot of time in this Starbucks. My wife does a lot of homework here as there’s a great amount of windows and light, plus coffee, a public restroom, and free Wifi obviously. There are always several people working or studying here.
We’re both Starbucks Gold members so we know what to expect from the menu and general environment. They’ve been pretty good at accommodating requests for decaf after 5pm, which is when they stop brewing it typically. I can’t do full caffeine or very sugary drinks, but I do love the taste of coffee still.
I find the staff to be hit or miss when it comes to attitude though, which is the only disappointing thing about this Starbucks. As someone from a food and customer service background, I have higher (not lower) expectations wherever I go. I hope to give them 4 stars in the future if I can come here for a few months without getting an attitude. It’d be 5 stars for exceptional service.

I’m here 2 – 3 times per week. The place is clean and nice. Friendly staff. No parking after 8 am for free.

I need to update my review based on the extremely rude service I just experienced…
I went to refill my coffee since I’d been doing homework for 3 hours. I didn’t actually finish the drink because I was so focused, so it got cold. The barista first asks me very rudely if I have my cup. I tell her yes and go get it. When I handed it to her, she said «Next time it’s supposed to be empty!»
First of all, I have NEVER had to have my cup in hand for a refill at ANY Starbucks. Secondly, I bought and paid for that coffee, so I can do whatever the heck I want with it. If I want it to sit next to me for two hours while I work on a Power Point presentation, that’s my prerogative. The refill is free (with a gold card) regardless of whether I actually DRINK the entire first drink or not.
Then I ask for a bakery treat for $ 1 with my «sweet receipt». She asks if I want it heated up. I say yes and as a different barista reaches to grab it, she makes a comment on how gross that particular item is. Seriously?
I don’t recognize her as a regular, so hopefully she won’t stick around long because I go there several times a week and I do not need that kind of attitude all up in my aura.

Good customer service at this Starbucks! I wasn’t sure which frapp I wanted and I wasn’t in the mood for anything too sweet. Baristas were super patient while I hemmed and hawed, and offered to remake the drink if it turned out too sweet or not sweet enough. Most Starbucks have good customer service anyway but this went slightly above!

Everyone is very nice and friendly. Always clean, convenient since it’s located near the bus stop and also the UA Kaufman.

I love this location because it’s down the street from my apartment and it usually has a lot of seating available.
This location is clean and the staff is nice. My drinks came out in a timely manner. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line and the place wasn’t packed.

How can you not give a starbucks 4 stars? They all seem to be consistantly clean, friendly staffed and comfy. No exception here.

It is a Starbucks so they have your typical drinks and snacks everyone has come to except from these stores.
I feel that this is probably the best Bucks to get work done in Astoria because of its seating configuration /​ample amount and there WiFi rarely has issues at this location.
So grab a cup of coffee sit back relax and fire up the olé MacBook Pro

My favorite neighborhood Starbucks. Clean and friendly. I love these guys so much that I bake them Christmas cookies every year and know their names. In return, they know mine and my son’s. Though some of my favorite baristas have moved on, the new ones are consistently well trained and thoughtful.
Lots of windows and natural light. Lots of seating even when it’s busy. Only complaint is that, being a block away from a high school, it gets crazy in here come 3pm.
Never EVER had a rude barista or a drink not perfectly made.
Lots of outlets, pretty clean bathroom and right below my gym.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks in the neighborhood.
It’s huge there’s always somewhere to sit unlike all the other ones in Astoria, the staff is always pleasant.
Also I feel as if they make the specialty drinks really good, the milk is always steamed at its correct temperature I’ve never had any complaints about this location.
Also great location, close to Steinway, the movie theater, the gym, the city.

One of my favorite Starbucks in Astoria! I love the look of this one… it reminds of a trendy Manhattan one for some reason.
Always everything served perfect and never had any complaints. I don’t experience the employees much because I order and go usually… but. It’s Starbucks, what else is there to say?

I’d have to agree with other people’s posts on this starbucks. **Some** of the employees are ultra negative about everything and it spreads throughout the entire coffee shop. Also, I go there quite often and they are always cold to me, even when I try to say hello and have a conversation. Interesting.
I now choose to go a little out of my way to the starbucks on broadway and 31^st. Pretty friendly and very positive vibe.

Its a Starbucks, a chain focused on supplying magical caffeine conveniently every four blocks. This one is neither more or less amazing than any other. The baristas seem nice, they got my drink right, and since the place has less traffic, the waits are short. I like the big picture windows here to people watch and the fact that I never have to fight for a table. But it is suburbia out here, so the hours aren’t terribly convenient and I wish this location was on my way to the subway.

I REALLY wish this starbucks was open later than 10pm on weekdays.

But what it’s nice about this one it’s on my way to the subway! and very hard to see one starbucks in Astoria!
