This review is more for the Astoria location than for the doctor.
I liked the doctor A LOT but the office could be tidied up. Dr. Rothfeld has an old school appeal which I love, l but this office also has an unprofessional feel. The 1st time I arrived it was like walking into a cloud of misery. He was running over an hour late, the office was full of unhappy patients, and it was also stuffy. The waiting is not comfortable. And the wait time was unacceptable to me.
Charming man and skilled doctor but not a comfortable office. If you like more frills, go to his Manhattan office.

You will feel like you’ve walked into a time warp. No computers, nothing digital – and it is refereshing. Dr. Rothfeld is an older gentleman with a great sense of humor and years of knowledge and wisdom. Not only will he diagnose you truthfully without taking advantage of you, he will take the time to explain exactly what is going on. He has also treated celebrities and performers. If you live in Astoria, he is there on Saturdays. Honestly – he is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had.

Doctor Rothfeld is the man!
he’s extremely nice, very friendly, and asks the pertinent questions. his office is small and old-​school but comfortable and warm.
best of all (for me) — he’s open on Saturdays! yes! just make sure to make an appointment, though. on my first visit, some lady was complaining about her long wait, then revealed that she just walked in. you get no pity from me.

I have had a stuffed nose my whole life and thought I could never breathe easier without medicine. Then I met Dr. Rothfeld who treated me with a 15 minute procedure (cauterization of nasal turbinates)… I have never breathed as good as I do now and this is without any medicine. I never thought this was possible. Dr. Rothefeld is a wonderful doctor and wonderful man. Thank you Dr. Rothfeld!

This is the ONLY doctor who has drastically helped with my chronic sinusitus. He is an older, friendly and extensively experienced doctor who get results. He is sensitive but tells you what you need to hear.
I have been to other doctors who have said his methods are old school but they have not been able to help me with latest techniques, so I go back to Dr Rothfeld!
