This was our favorite part of our stop in Astoria on a recent cruise. We were dropped off by a shuttle in downtown and stumbled immediately upon this beautifully restored theater. You don’t run into one of these very often, and we appreciated every minute of our visit.
We were encouraged to go up on stage, where they had old silent movies playing on screen… how cool! Upstairs, downstairs, this theater has been lovingly cared for and it was a total delight to experience.
We were very happy to leave a donation on the way out and encourage everyone to support what they’re doing here.
