Snagged a bacon egg and cheese on a roll a couple weeks back. Place is small and really cute. Staff was particularly friendly. The sandwich was decent — eggs were cooked to my asking (over easy) but there wasn’t enough bacon and the roll wasn’t that fresh which was a bit of a bummer.
I would have rated this a 3, but the regular breakfast dishes looked really good when I was waiting for my order so I think I will come back and try and full breakfast one of these weekends.

Food was yummy, typical diner food, they had a gluten free option which was remarkably progressive, and the coffee was drinkable (I drink mine black so there’s no hiding tar coffee).
The waitress was lovely, very friendly and warm.
We will be back.
Pancakes with tater tots and the mushroom and feta omelette. Yum.

I love this place !!! The old school Greek style restaurant. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. The food is always cooked to perfection. Prices are perfect, quality and quantity is fair.

Great little spot! Good food, super friendly staff and very well priced! All around great place! If you live in Astoria, or are ever visiting the area, I strongly recommend that you stop in and have a meal or even just a coffee in the Family Corner Restaurant! I tip my hat to the friendly staff and owner who were very kind and gracious, and treated every customer in the restaurant with respect and appreciation.

This restaurant is one in a million. The staff were SO SWEET and the food was amazing! My mom ordered the lamb gyro with waffle fries and I had the tuna club with tater tots. The portions were enormous and tasty. I can’t wait to go back and try something else. HAPPY EATING UnilocalERS :)

I recently stopped by here with a friend on the way to LGA based on the high reviews here on Unilocal,but didn’t find it to exceed the norm for family diners. My friend and I got a a mix of dishes for breakfast, but nothing was particularly outstanding.
Food: 3⁄5 In my book is average. It’s definitely not bad by any means. Just okay.
Service: 4⁄5 Fast to seat and take orders. The staff is friendly and chatty.
Décor: 4⁄5 Fine for a diner. The sign next to the clock was memorable :)

I ordered delivery via GrubHub but I didn’t write the address correctly. The delivery guy called me 40 minutes later and it turned out they don’t deliver to my area. So I called the restaurant to see what’s going to happen with the food and if I can pay for it anyway since the whole episode was my fault. I spoke with the owner and he could not be nicer. He actually refused to take any money, and was so gracious and sweet. So I didn’t get to try their food but I tried their customer services and it’s beyond outstanding. Thank you so much for being awesome :)

Very fortunate to live around the block from Family Corner for the past year, and have dined in/​ordered out many times. Just about everything on the menu is good, but I specifically like the Gyro plate for the value it provides. Great service, and classic diner vibe inside as well. Definitely recommend.

The classic diner you would go to for brunch. The omelet was a tad dry and the Orange juice was not freshly squeezed, but from a tropicana carton. The bacon was too crispy for my taste. Overall, the diner was not impressive. However, the service was great!

Back at family corner after 4 years! Another memorable and amazing meal :) the eggs were delicious but you HAVE TO ask for the FRENCH CAKE! I don’t know why this has never been done before, it’s deliciousness :) trust me!

Ever been in one of those cold days you don’t feel like cooking but want good food? Family corner has you more than covered. Chicken souvlaki + mashed potatoes + veggies + lobster bisque for $ 10. Chicken was juicy and tender, fresh veggies, mashed potatoes mixed with the right consistency, and to top it all everything is a big portion. Very good environment for family and price friendly. Recommend it.
PS — don’t hesitate to bring kids as there’s a kids menu. :)

This place is my go to for quick food when I’m starving! Their menu has a ton of variety and the quality is always great. My roommate and I ordered takeout burgers and sweet potato fries from here earlier, they were delivered in less time than we were quoted, the food was still warm and the portions were huge. They make a large burger and then fill the rest of the take out tray with fries! By the time we finished, we were both stuffed and super happy.
I have also done takeout several times, the staff is always really friendly and polite and the food is always ready when I walk in but clearly hasn’t been sitting on the counter for ten minutes.
Definitely a great all around spot!

I love this place!
Okay, so first I ordered a bacon egg white and feta on toasted roll, with banana pancakes (base on a review from another Unilocaler) on GrubHub. Super tasty! And super fast delivery!
Then, the next day (I was home sick a few days) I ordered the same sandwich and the nuts pancakes with a large iced coffee. Consistency in the egg sandwich was great. It was hot. Also, the pancakes are still tasty! And the coffee your average iced coffee (like from a street cart).
The delivery guy was the same guy both times, and almost too nice. You know when you’re surprised the guy uses your name on the phone when he is outside and then in person remembers I was home sick and tells me he hopes I feel better. Like– am I in New York?
Overall. I like this place a lot. This is my new favorite breakfast delivery place. Consistency. Tasty. Good prices. Quick delivery. What else do you need?

Great spot for a quick breakfast/​lunch or brunch. We came here spur of the moment and certainly weren’t disappointed.
I loved their chicken wrap! And my boyfriend loved his omelet.
Whenever we’re back in New York, we’ll have to stop here and grab a bite with the NYFD.
