Very decent no frills massage, great price. The street can be a little noisy, so bring your headphones if you think it will bother you.

Mary was my masseuse and she had magic hands! I have been to a million hole in the wall no frills massage places and have always walked away feeling let down, but not this time. I felt like Mary was trained well and definitely understands the body and worked out every knot in my back and shoulders. My boyfriend had another masseuse(her name is escaping me now), but he had the same great experience as I did. I live in the East Village and plan on making regular trips to Astoria just for a massage!

I have been going here for over a year now and this place is well worth the money. You can’t beat $ 65 for a 90 minute massage especially when the massage is really good. My only complaint is that sometimes the masseuse has to answer the phone or go to the door in the middle of your massage, but they always make up the time they left plus a few minutes.

I’ve been going here for over 2 years, so it’s time I wrote a review. It’s a clean, no frills type of place. But the massages are second to none. Lilly is my girl! She is very accommodating, even when I call with a short notice, she manages to accommodate me and my friends. I have plantar fasciitis and the reflexology is amazing on my footsies. Sometimes I do an hour of reflexology and an hour of body work. Two hours for 80bux minus the tip is insane!(In the best way). I’m never rushed, always greeted and sent off with a smile, it’s great. So much so that I treated my mom to a session for her birthday and I’ve never seen her more relaxed, and she supposedly didn’t even like massages. Everyone I’ve introduced to this place is now a regular, it’s that good. So if you’re on the fence, well what are you doing climbing all the way up there? Climb on down and give this place a try. You’ll thank me later.

Very thorough and great price! Can be a little rough and loud from downstairs music, but overall a great experience for the price.

90min massage for $ 65. Seriously can’t beat this. Quiet. Professional. Standard Astoria massage place. Really enjoyed it.

This place is amazing. It is clean, easy to locate, and the staff are extremely friendly in a genuine way. The massage was fantastic and not rushed. Overall, I think this is one of the better ‘no-frills’ places around the area.

This is my favorite massage place in all of Queens! and I“ve been to Pure and other posh salons… This is on the 2nd floor off of Steinway and the owner is Steve. I’ve been going for about a year and they have helped me tremendously with my sciatica problems… I always get the ½ hour massage which is $ 25…and I tip!!! They are always accommodating and gracious. These girls deserve it. There is only a handful of girls that work there and they are all excellent… I need deep tissue massage and they DELIVER!!! They even use hot stones when necessary… I rarely make an appointment and rarely have to wait. They have 4 «no frills» rooms. the two in the back are separated by a curtain. They give you a little glass of water in a paper cup when you are done. I love it! The same cd always seems to be playing in the background. It is light and relaxing and I always enjoy my time there… I have yet to try the foot reflexology but I am sure it is as good as my back massages!

Amazing foot reflexology treatment!!! I have been dancing my whole life and I have genetic bunions and flat feet – and I just went through a move – so I really needed some love for my feet!!! I called this place because it had good reviews and was only a few blocks from my new apartment and they said I could come right in! As soon as I walked through the door they were friendly and happy to see me and took me straight back to the massage room. It’s a very small suite they have on the second floor and there are only 2 rooms divided by a curtain, but it’s nice enough and they had relaxing music playing. The treatment was utterly exquisite – I had the 60 min foot reflexology(only $ 35!!) and the woman really knew what she was doing. She hit every point in my foot and worked on my calves, knees, and did some quad/hip work over the blanket. I absolutely plan on using this place for regular maintenance and body work. They are so nice and so affordable(I’m a recent college grad so affordable is imperative). They prefer cash but they do take credit card. Overall, exactly what I needed for the right price.

This place is amazing! Very friendly staff, excellent prices & most importantly a really great massage! I was seen by Barbara; she asked what my problem areas were, then proceeded to find every single knot(including ones I didn’t even know existed!). As other reviewers have noted, it’s not a fancy establishment. However, that makes no difference, as the quality of the message speaks for itself! I will be back and I’ve alreay reccomended An Qi to a friend!

2 and a half stars. All massages are not created equal. The place we usually go was fully booked one of the customers was me so on the way back from our anniversary trip where we did too much walking my hubby needed a foot massage. It is called reflexology. If you advertise that you do Reflexology you should know that is a foot massage. They tried to pressure my hubby into a full body massage. He didn’t have the money or time he had to meet me to go home after my massage. His massage therapist at An Qi Gong Tui-Na they did not understand that he just wanted a foot massage. When he went into the massage room with his massage therapist she kept rubbing the top of his foot. If you have ever seen a reflexology chart it shows the bottom of the foot. He kept pointing to where to rub. She kept rubbing the top in spite of numerous protests. Plus he had to take a half day of work to get real reflexology where we usually go and also to un do the pain the therapists caused here! He was generous to give me massages all week during vacation other wise we would have to turn around and come back like we did last year. But he needed a rub too he was limping and he has gout toe. Plus he needs an occasional massage because he has Thalassemia. A real Tui Na therapist knows what it is and how to treat it with massage. Here they had no clue. Elle gave it 5 stars and I know she knows massage we found our current place on her page. So she obviously has another therapist. So Some are not so good but when judging a massage place I don’t want to take a chance. It was a waste of money. We do not have much money. He had to take out a loan so I can get acupuncture and Tui Na for without them I would be in a wheel chair. We do not have money to throw away. Going here was like throwing away money since he had to take off of work and spend more money to get a real massage. I am giving them 3 stars because I am not trying to put them out of business just letting you know all massages are not equal!

we were in the ‘nabe and looking for a last minute massage for 2 when we Unilocaled and found«an qi gong» and another massage place a few blocks up from«an qi gong». since we were closer to the other place we went to the other place but they only had 1 person working so we skedaddled and went to «an qi gong». it is your typical«cheap» massage place with curtains/drapes separating you and the next table. but the«girls» here have strong fingers(very very important). so good in fact we decided to do another 30 mins for a total of 90 mins! if in the ‘nabe we recommend as a good neighborhood massage choice. have your cash and(at least) $ 10 tip ready.

I was looking for a last-minute massage and came across this place on Unilocal. Thanks to the review from Elle P. I was comforted in knowing that it was just your basic, bare bones, Chinese massage place and that it wasn’t a scam or anything. I called and they said to come as soon as I wanted. The place was small but simple, and the man at the front was so sweet and welcoming. The woman did a great 60 minute body massage and was super thorough. I decided to tip them really well and they adorned me with tea and candy! I would absolutely go back, especially because they have a punch card that gets you a free massage after your first 10! All around just very sweet people trying to make a living. Plus, you can’t beat the prices!

Awesome! A recently opened Chinese massage place. You know the drill, Bare bones, no extra fancies, but really cheap and excellent deep Tui-Na massage. I love it! The usual place I go to was really busy, so I decided to visit An Qi. The place is small, but very clean. Each individual cubicle is rather spacious for a bare bones massage place. Because they’re new, very few people know about them. Absolutely no clients right now, but I’m sure this will change. I opted for an hour long foot massage because my feet have been hurting. The service was really friendly, warm, and cordial. The lotion they used has a lovely scent. I was really happy with my massage. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back. Price list for Qi Gong Tui-Na Bodywork 15 min $ 15 30 min $ 25 45 min $ 38 60 min $ 45 90 min $ 70 Foot reflexology 30 min $ 20 60 min $ 35
