Alba’s really saved my super bowl party! After having placed an order through Dominos that took almost 3 hours to deliver and I ended up canceling. I decided to place my order at Alba’s Pizzeria as busy as they were on super bowl Sunday. They took 20 min with my order and the food was fresh and amazing. I highly recommend this place and their buffalo chicken pizza is exceptional. Thank You Alba’s for saving my party!

We used to live right around the corner so when we moved back to the neighborhood, it was a no brainer to order from here. They never disappoint. Delivery service is pretty quick as well. Great pizza! We order from here as well as stop in.

Delivery can take a bit but I love this place. Best pizza in area. I recommend getting the chicken park pizza. It’s quite yummy.

This place is the real deal. If you’re in the neighborhood and are looking for authentic pizza, which I know is hard to find in Astoria, then look no further and go to Alba’s. This pizza is definitely the best that I’ve had in Astoria and has become my go-to place when I’m craving a slice or want a pie to go. Have also come here with a group to split a pie and the service is excellent. They also have a mini bar with a few beer taps, which is great if you want a pint to wash down your pizza. Definitely recommend this place!

Great penne vodka, great pizza, great sangria, great cappuccino, what’s not to love? Great service too of course. What else is there to say? Go there, it’s good.

Pretty good pizza at a pretty reasonable price. I got food to go. The service was pretty quick at getting me in and out effeicently. The service at the counter was extremely friendly, which made me feel very welcome since I’ve never been here before. There are definitely more frilly places on Ditmars but this is a solid pizza /Italian spot, especially if you’re in a hurry to go.

Since I no longer have the pleasure of living in Astoria, when I do get back there, I try to test out new places. I came into Alba’s for some late night cheese slices last week since it was close. At $ 2.50/cheese slice, this pizza was good! It had plenty of cheese and just the right amount of sauce. It was hot and delicious. The other food looked quite delicious as well, but Alba’s has a true slice of good New York pizza. I enjoyed the Christmas decorations and the casual but cute atmosphere as well. The set up is a little odd since there is bar service, quick pizza service, and sit-down. However, this place makes it work! Credit cards accepted!

The service stunk, there was one waitress and one buss boy for the whole place. The food was a bit overpriced for what you got, thw dishes were small. But the food was quite tasty.

Cornerstone pizza place on Ditmars. The slices are superb. Service here is always quick, attentive, and professional. The entrees are excellent as well! I will never go anywhere except Albas because the price is great and the quality is always on point! The owners are always working there as well, so I feel that the food is consistently made to their traditional standards, and not cutting corners.

I don’t usually eat Italian take out being that I am Italian but I was craving it and didn’t feel like cooking. Your penne vodka is delicious. Your garlic knots were great. The reason I give 4 stars is because your meatballs need work. P. S. Who ever the delivery guy was last night, he was really nice.

This place. My go-to for pasta and pizza dinners in Astoria. I’ve ordered several times from Seamless and they’re very fast and the food is hot. I’ve so eaten in restaurant, and had an extremely kind and attentive waiter. They do have a delivery minimum of $ 20 of so, but it’s more upscale food, so that makes sense to me. I love the Alfredo sauce, it’s not watery like others I’ve had in the NYC area — creamy and just the right amount of garlic and spices. They literally give you a half loaf of bread when they deliver a pasta dish — generous portions = 2 meals for 1 My boyfriend was living about 400 miles away, and Alba’s allowed him to order a heart shaped pizza and have it sent to me on Valentine’s Day. Buffalo chicken pizza to be exact, and it was so good. I no longer live right around the corner from Alba’s, but their food is so good that I plan on making a trip to Queens just to have some of their pasta and a sweet cannoli as well.

The Food, Management and Staff are great! We held a small dinner party in their private room for about 25 people. The staff was very accommodating, we changed our reservation to 1-hour earlier with practically less than an hour notice and they had no problem. The home style menu was great and the portions were generous. The waiters were very attentive to our needs and even allowed us to change the music to our liking. Overall a great little place to hold a nice dinner. Everyone loved the food and the staff. I will be sure to return!

I’m giving three stars for the excellent food! I had calzone and French fries. Both were fresh and nice. Two stars are missing because of service. On not busy Friday afternoon, no one check on my table if I’m okay or need anything. The hostess at the front didn’t look like she wants to be here right now. A smile from the waitress wouldn’t hurt too. My sangria tastes delicious. As a person who handles customers service on daily bases, I understand how important is to give customers full service and warm welcome. But, maybe I came in on a wrong day.

Where can you find eggplant parmesan and chicken parmesan cooked so perfectly that it melts in your mouth with each bite? And where can you find a filet of fish cooked with capers so full of favor that your taste buds dance? HERE! Look no further if you are in the mood for great tasting food. And don’t forget to order pizza as an appetizer. The best pizza in town.

Welp, the delivery guy was courteous and professional. I didn’t think the order was taking that long. But he called to say he had been stuff in traffic forever because of an accident in my area, and he was having an issue coming on to the street. He then told me he would park and walk down my block, and asked if I would meet him downstairs. I looked out the window… and traffic was slow… but moving down my block… okay… Maybe he wasn’t stretching the truth, as the mozzie sticks were rather cold and solid when they arrived. Didn’t heat up that well in the oven. Meh. The calzone was on point in terms of flavor, both with the dough and the innards. But they don’t seal it well enough to close… it popped right open on the edges. But it did reheat well in the even a few days later. Really small portion of marinara, though. Veal parm looked like ambrosia. But was bland as anything. Veal wasn’t tough… but wasn’t tender. Sauce just tasted like unseasoned tomatoes. Really hearty portion, but took a good bit of jazzing up to taste like anything. But, hey, got two meals out of it. Guess their name tell you it all: stick to the pizza and related items. And maybe consider another option if you live on the fourth floor.

Had filet steak, they actually serve beef filet for under 19 $. Was a great meal with Linguini and Broc Rape. The Burrata with arugula over pesto was killer. And to top things off the new Red Velvet puts Marthas to shame.

Good pizza, but don’t order delivery. Placed an order at 8 for a pizza and garlic bread. At 9:15 still had not received my order and called the restaurant. I gave them my last name, they repeated my address and order. The guy on the phone said the delivery guy had just left and should be there in 10 – 15 min. At 10pm I still had not received my order and when I called them back again the restaurant was closed. They only picked up the phone after I called 3 times and had started to leave a message. They tried telling me they did not receive the order until I said I had called at 9:15 pm and knew they had the order. Only then was I told they didn’t make the food and the restaurant was now closed. The guy offered to credit my order to a future delivery. I said absolutely not, they will credit my card back now. What a joke. I don’t know who is running this restaurant at night, but a little professionalism and honesty would have gone a long way. Instead I was lied to and treated like my business doesn’t matter. They lost my business and the business of every friend I tell what happened.

Old school pizza the way it’s supposed to be. Not pretentious. Just solid.

My friend and I came in for lunch and both ordered the spaghetti bolognese. Wow. That tomato sauce. I could write odes to that tomato sauce. The perfect balance between sweet and tangy, fresh, and hitting every single taste bud in perfectly the right way. I would recreate that taste if I could. My friend and I demolished our plates of very substantial spaghetti mounds. We will definitely be back for more.
