If you’re a little picky about your cocktails, this is one of the better bars to go to in Aspen. They also offer a bar menu. We had the cheese plate and the guy sitting next to us had a plate of oysters that were flown in from Washington State. The lounge it self has plenty of comfy seats, a few small tables, and probably no more than six seats at the bar. I would not suggest this place if you are going out for a rowdy night. Actually, if I was alone in Aspen this is where I would probably go. The name ‘Library Bar’ is very fitting as I could totally see this place being an awesome place to bring a book or a place to have some quiet conversation. Pretty solid place.

This is hands down my favorite bar in Aspen. It has big comfy chairs, a speciality cocktail list, awesome barkeeps and it’s totally cozy. After scanning the menu, my husband ordered a Sazarac and I ordered a Hot Chocolate with raspberry vodka and chambord. Yeah. I went there. There’s nothing quite like lounging on a gigantic, comfy couch while drinking spiked hot cocoa. There was a serious amount of alcohol in it and I wasn’t complaining. I would definitely make it a point to come back here next time we are in Aspen. We need to try more of their house cocktails!

Great place to get an amazing cocktail! We went on a Friday night and it wasn’t busy at all. Kind of filled up later on, but they had nice comfy chairs and plenty of seating. Their drink list was extensive with lots of great cocktails. Most drinks were $ 12, so its comparably to LA bars, but the bartender made sure we liked our drinks and was very nice. I got a Pisco Sour, which had a nice egg white froth on top and was served in a martini glass. Nice balance of sweet and sour. I know they serve food ealier in the evening, but I am not sure what kind of food it is. There is a resturant located on the other side of the hotel.
