Wine Empire

Excellent addition to the town of Ashland. When I heard that a new wine store was opening here I wondered aloud how many wine stores our town needed… well, this is nothing like your usual wine store. Highly recommend everything from the wonderful wine selections, beer cave and gourmet coffee to the friendly service by owner and staff!

My sister lives in Ashland and up until a few months ago there were not any great places to buy wine and beer at. I am SO HAPPY that Wine Empire has come to Ashland!
The owners and workers are always friendly and have a smile on their face. The wine selection is great; they carry many low and high brands. Prices on wine are very reasonable and not marked up too much. One of my favorite brands of wine: Francis Coppola Diamond Cab is around $ 18 and this is what I pay at every single liquor store that carries it.
To be completely honest with you I have only checked out the front of the store where the wine is. There is a beer area as well as a gourmet food area in the back of the store.
There is plenty of parking in front of the store in a private lot. Getting in and out can be a little tricky due to the location of the road divider, but I’ve never had an issue with trying to turn left out of the store.
On top of great customer service they are always doing raffles to win bottles or wine and like being interactive with their customers. Can’t wait to go back and try different brands of wine!

Long time Unilocal user, first time reviewing. Five stars just for the coffee alone. Hands down the best Espresso and Italian coffee anywhere in the area without the overpriced hipster Internet café nonsense. You have to go to Boston to find anything comparable. Also has very decent wine and beer selections given the area and size of the store. Friendly mom and pop style place.
