Wow, this was disappointing. I expected to see views of the valley but this trail was completely in the woods. Supposedly you could scramble onto some rocks to see the views. Really? Isn’t there a trail where you can see the darn views from the trail? Also WATCHOUT for a nasty, well hidden, big rock in the parking area. If you don’t see it, you will drive over it and get stuck!!! That just happened to me. I had to have a towing company come rescue me, at my own expense.(AAA doesn’t service unpaved roads!). A few passers-by told me they’ve seen others stuck on this damn rock!

The White Rabbit is part of a connecting system of trails with an Alice in Wonderland theme. It’s located above Ashland and can be reached by driving through Lithia Park, continuing up on Granite Drive until it dead ends, then driving on dirt for another mile. It can also be accessed through Park Street, a fairly uphill residential road east of downtown. It’s a multiuse trail, which means you’ll share it with bikers, hikers and possibly horses. The trail offers lovely views of the area, but at times traffic from below can be heard, which makes for a little less quiet. The western side of the trail tends to be quieter; the eastern more populated with neighbors walking dogs. Overall, a lovely trail.
