It was quite nice to find a gluten free bakery. The carrot cake cupcake was good but the pie was very runny. All in all I would try it again.

I was with my mother-in-law who also had a gift certificate. We were making two separate purchases. I didn’t know that only one per family, meant anyone with the same last name. Also, I traveled in from Trail, an hour away, and the gift certificates were about to expire. We picked up my mother-in-law for a family date, and decided to use our gift certificates that were gifts from another family member. Besides, you were just flat out rude and treated us as if we were stupid or deaf. It’s simply unfortunate, because the gift certificates brought us there, as we have not been to your establishment before, but the way you treated us made us not want to come back or send others your way.

Nice people and they do a great job with gluten free, vegan and dairy free! Since their daughter has celiac disease they really understand the issues and know how to cook! And, since nothing they make has gluten in it, no problem with cross contamination. LOVE the apple/zucchini muffins! And they are VERY inexpensive, a saving grace.

My friend visiting from out of town stopped, had wonderful treats and told me about it. Since gluten has not been a problem, decided to stop as was close to Shop N Kart and wanted coffee. Great pastries, great pies and tastes better than the stuff made with wheat. Friendly people, nice owner, prices are very low and near to freeway and the gas station for those on the way through. Kind of old fashioned home made, family run bakery.

In response to Kristopher T: You cannot call it discrimination if it is the truth about someone’s sheer rudeness. I’m sure that our single stop in, over 5 months ago(which it took you 5 months to respond, kudos to you on excellent response time) has stayed with you every night as you sleep and caused you to wake up wishing you could amend your behavior. Clearly the«guy behind the counter» has quite an issue with customer service as many other reviews have stated.

We were lucky enough to find this place while driving through Oregon. Everything is gluten free, fresh, and delicious. Also, they were open New Year morning!

I was doing a workshop in Ashland, and found this place. Best delicious chocolate cakes! Gluten free specialized. I could see how other people might be offended by the energy of the guy behind counter, but he’s not rude. He’s just not all over you, happy, dandy kinda dude. I thought he was nice. People nowadays need to be tended to like babies, geez. Just go in, order, pay and get the goods out. This kind of exchange is common in SF and N.Y. so it didn’t bother me at all. Didn’t take away from my experience one bit. The cakes are the most delicious gluten free cakes I have had ever!

I’m basing my review solely on their gluten free cinnamon roles, they were fantastic. not available every day. Sure wished they could ship to so califiornia. service and bakery were nothing great, but I was there for gluten free treets, and they were great. In the 6 years I was diagnosed with Celiac I have never had anything like them. Perfectly buttery cinnamon cooked to a glaze. Can’t wait to drive north again and get off the freeway, just need to time it for cinnamon roll day.

What a weird spot, run by very strange and rude people. Just went in to get a coffee and a pastry while waiting for laundry, had an abrupt and awkward transaction, tipped the lady, and came back in to check my laundry. Realized I needed a smaller bill and went back next door to break a $ 20. They refused, and the creepy moron in the back who has inexplicably set up shop in the back to paint his miniature figurines told me it would be breaking his lease to do so. Stay away from here, spooky vibes.

Awesome bakery! Needed a gluten free cake for my moms birthday on a Monday. I called Sunday morning and they were able to get it done that evening! Got a 2 layer 9″ German chocolate cake and it was the best German chocolate cake I have ever had. You can’t tell its gluten free. Amazing deal at $ 15, every other place wants a 1 week to make it and charges more than double that. Great place!

Stopped in while travelling through to crater lake. This place was an incredible surprise. Not just one of the best gluten free bakeries — but one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to, period. The cinnamon rolls which are only made 2 days a week were the most delicious I’ve ever had. Everything else was really great too, price was low, and the owner had a great story. Definitely don’t miss.

Small selection. Bland muffins. Depressing atmosphere. Not kid friendly. Stale awkward environment. Enough said.

I first tried this place 2 weeks ago by complete chance. I would have never gone into this place as I had passed by it numerous times before, and as someone had already mentioned, it looked like a chain doughnut shop, not a place for delicious baked goods. I was on my way to Mt. Ashland and needed some fuel for my hike, and Albertsons was closed. The store didn’t open until 6AM, but they let me in early and were very friendly. I grabbed a apple pumpkin muffin and a oatmeal chocolate chip cookie and both were outstanding. Muffin was moist and flavorful, and cookie was great as well. Went there again today and tried some other options and was just as impressed as last time. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the atmosphere, which is just not very relaxing and doesn’t invite you to sit down and read the paper or meet with friends. But I’d rather have awesome treats than atmosphere. With subpar goods.

Love this gluten free bakery!!! Second time I’ve visited, we came from CA. I placed an order ahead of time and stopped to pick it up!!! Great service!!! And some of the BEST gluten free treats!!! While picking up my order we decided to get some sandwiches which were also tasty! Great prices too!!! We will definitely be stopping here every time we visit Oregon! Thanks again guys!

Incredible prices for great gluten-free baked goods! We were expecting this place to be completely unaffordable in the currently trendy Ashland sort of way, but were pleasantly surprised. The ambience is not great, I would never actually stay here to eat anything.

Again, most excellent customer service. This is my update to the owners remarks. Way to go! Instead of actually taking care of the situation, you get defensive and lash out. If I could give you no stars, I so absolutely would. You messaged me privately and you were not open to actually hearing my complaints, so why even intimate that I should get in touch so you could make things right? What a joke. I am not going to get into a he said, she said with you. I have a sense of humor(since you read my other reviews, you should know this) and the guy/you was not nice, friendly or helpful in any way. End of story. Thanks for helping me make my decision to never return to your place of business and I will absolutely tell all my friends. Thanks and enjoy your day.

I sampled the apple muffin, and the berry scone, which were both alright. Although it is all gluten free, which is a safe haven, it was so unprofessional that I won’t be returning unless there are some major overhauls. The prices are very reasonable, but their products are sub-par, and the presentation is disappointing to say the least.

Guess we caught them on a bad day. Coffee was really stale and cream was awful — just clumped up as we poured in our cup. Really really bad.

the signage outside is kind of strip mall and donut chain looking but inside it is very sweet. They make little batches of everything each day and have nice naturally lit seating. They always have a perfect $ 5 cake and do the decaf coffees as Americanos. It’s lovely and the baked good are more filling and healthy than the basic kind.

Tiny bakery with limited selection but what they had was very tasty. Being excited to find a gluten-free bakery we ordered a number of items: biscotti, peach scone, pumpkin bread and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting. All were worthy substitutes for flour versions.
