Youngblood Bicycles

This was actually my first experience with Youngblood Bicycles. They performed service on my semi-​fancy, road bike. Alex, and another fellow consulted me about parts that had worn out and appropriate changes that could be made to improve the enjoyment of the bike. Satisfied with a fair quote for parts and service rate I left it with them. They texted me that my service was complete. (Very cool!) When I picked up my bike, I found that they had gone above and beyond my expectations! Shifting and braking is spot-​on! It rides better than when I originally purchased it. Alex explained to me how I could improve my maintenance routine. I’m sure some folks would be upset by this but not me! A few changes on my part will save me a lot of hassle down the line. Additionally, I certainly appreciate the dry, shop mechanic humor that signals to me that an expert is in-​house.

Top-​notch service, top-​shelf staff, and top-​tier products. Top hats NOT required for excellent service, unlike some of Asheville’s more highfalutin bike shops. For more than eight years now, I’ve relied on Youngblood Bikes for all of my cycling-​related needs, and they’ve never once steered me wrong, or treated me like a noob – even when I was! Make them your shop!

Its a neat small bike shop with good mechanics. Easy to drive by on Merrimon. Reasonably fast in getting my bike back. Solid tune up… but gears still popping a little. I might call back and see if they might adjust them. Cool selection of bikes for a small Indie store. Yah to indie bike places.
