Jenn Meyer is one hell of a stylist. She just gave me the best haircut of my life. I was ready to chop it all off, go pixie short, but was still a little scared. Jenn thoroughly consulted with me, to make sure we were both on the same page. She reassured me that I would, in fact, look like Jennifer Lawrence. She’s so precise with those scissors, that, seriously, from the neck up, I really do look like Jennifer Lawrence! The best part of achieving pixie perfection is that I will get to go back in 4 – 6 weeks for a trim & enjoy the wonderful company of Jennn! Thanks! Oh, I’m just so pretty now!

I’m extremely picky with hair color. I’ve only had a stylist give me exactly what I wanted a handful of times. I always show pictures, but rarely does it look like the photos. Stacy was patient as I showed her what I liked and didn’t like. She then suggested some things that would make it better and talked with me about what would and wouldn’t work for my hair. She also noticed a lot of split ends as she was cutting that I didn’t know I had since they were in the back. She was able to give me a beautiful cut that took care of them all. The highlights and lowlights were perfect! I used a Groupon for this and paid extra for lowlights as well as for longer hair. Best $ 110 + tip I’ve spent in a salon!

Just had my hair cut by Casey. She was easy to talk to and she did a wonderful job. Fair prices and open on Mondays with awsome people I will definitely be back.

Stacey cut my hair on a Monday when I guess a lot other salons are closed. She did a really nice job, I have been very happy with it, it’s been 5 weeks and the shape is still good despite being the fact hat I am due for a cut soon. Stacey is really nice, relaxed, good energy. :)

I love Westside Shears, Casey is awesome! Fast, super affordable, and oh so stylish. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Conveniently located in the heart of West Asheville. Walk-​in style, go when it first opens to avoid any wait.

Casey did such a fantastic job cutting both my son & daughter’s hair that I spontaneously decided to let her cut my hair too. She did an amazing job! Plus she is incredibly nice too.
