Very quaint location. The food is a bit pricey but we’ll worth it. I had the Reuben and when it came out, it didn’t look like any reuben I’ve ever had but it was incredible. I recommend a thousand times.

Great sandwiches. Had the Avocado Caprese panini it was so fresh and amazing. My daughters had the club and it was great. They are picky and loved it. They use Boars head meat so it is super quality. The potato salad may just beat all of them. It’s made with dill and yummy. Try a cookie too. YUM YUM.

My boyfriend and I had a delicious lunch here! I had the Club Sammy with the house salad. My sandwich was delicious and the dressing on the salad was amazing! My boyfriend had the BBQ bacon burger and said it was one of the best he’s had. I had a taste and it was perfectly cooked and I absolutely adored the sauce on it. We would definitely come back again!

Excellent lunchtime destination. Had the pimento bacon cheeseburger — out standing! Traveling through town with four guys on a baseball odyssey, and we stopped here for a quick lunch — we were not disappointed. Friendly people, clean restaurant, excellent choices. Stop by if you have a chance.

I placed an online order early this morning for same day delivery (at 11:30am) from NJ for my family in Asheville. The online ordering was a breeze to use because Roman’s made the online menu organized and easy to choose from. The order was delivered at the time selected and my family was very happy with everything! I received pictures of the food and it all exceeded my expectations! Thank you Roman’s for such a beautiful presentation and having same-​day delivery available! I’m so impressed!

Yum yum yum! Decided to get some sandwiches for the road on our way out of town. Found this place when I searched for gluten free restaurants. Only had 14 reviews but I decided to take a chance. Excellent sandwich — I had the turkey cranberry pesto on sourdough and the flavors were unique and powerful. After each bite I had to say «mmmm» — hubby is gluten intolerant so he had the club sandwich in gf bread and he liked it as well. Definitely will go back — it’s a hidden gem for us tourists — the nice girl that helped me said they do mostly local biz and catering but I told her if I liked it I would Unilocal positively about them so here I am! Yummy sandwiches, helpful and friendly service — a must visit.

When the locals look for a deli with farm fresh ingredients, they look no further than Roman’s deli. Everything always taste fresh and the staff is always pleasant. My absolute favorite is the Chicken Salad Sandwich. Also, if you are in a meeting or can’t leave the office, they offer speedy delivery in downtown Asheville.

Roman’s is one of my favorite spots in downtown to get a burger and other sandwiches. They use locally raised meat and other local ingredients as well. I’ve taken quite of few of my out of town friends to Roman’s and they all love it, I would recommend checking Roman’s out for lunch.

If you’re looking for a good local lunch spot, this is your place. It is one of my favorite places downtown to get a locally raised hamburger. The prices are consistent with anywhere you can eat downtown, you are getting a belly full of delicious farm-​fresh food. The menu has a combination of creative gourmet sandwiches as well as the basics. The sides are all freshly prepared and very tasty.

Been here a number of times since they moved from Fairview. I’m not surprised how successful they are. Bottom line is the sandwiches they create are unique and have interesting and delicious ingredients. If you’re looking for a generally quiet place to have lunch, I highly recommend Roman’s.

I recently had an out-​of-​town wedding in Asheville. My sister, who lives in Asheville, recommended we use Roman’s catering for our appetizers and sides since we were already getting our main coarse from another company. They listened to our ideas and came with some of their own. The result was a feast of amazing dishes! They made home style classics in a fresh and unique way. Everyone was raving about the food and thoroughly gorged themselves.
We had:
Feta potato salad; a beautiful green salad with balsamic dressing, figs, and pistachios; quinoa mac and cheese; mini chicken and waffles; sunburst trout crostini; house made pickles; and the crowd favorite, candied bacon!
The food truly highlighted our special day!
