Noble Cider

I love, love, love this place. It also helps that I love, love, love cider. Asheville is definitely a beer town with all of the breweries around town. It’s so refreshing to be able to go to a cidery!
I was in town visiting for a weekend and did a little digging around to find stuff to do that did not involve beer or the Biltmore Estate. Fortunately I stumbled across Noble Cider while doing my investigation. I immediately bookmarked the place to check out. I ended up coming here twice over the weekend I was in town.
They have a great set up here. Plenty of tables — both high tops and regular tables. They even have three cute little faux rooms for you to go hang out. One is like a living room with a couch. The second is like a dining room area with a big table. The third is set up like a game room with darts. Fun! There’s a popcorn machine with a vast selection of seasonings courtesy of the establishment. A food truck is usually parked outside if you are craving something more substantial.
Noble had about 10 different ciders on tap when we went. So many to choose from! Fortunately, they offer flights so you can choose four. They also let you sample everything before committing to a specific glass or flight of anything. In addition to the ciders on tap, they also had two cyser meads on tap. Not feeling the locally brewed cider? They offer several bottles of cider from far off places. They have a note indicating that flights are not served after 6 pm, but I saw several people grab flights after the time cutoff.
The bartenders were super knowledgeable and a joy to talk to about various ciders.
I absolutely cannot wait to return and try more of their seasonal ciders. The best part is that they offer growlers! You can take home your favorite cider to enjoy later on.

What a great place to enjoy delicious Noble Cider! I’ve enjoyed Noble Cider around town for quite some time. They know how to make a cider with bite and flavor without too much sweetness.
We went to the new facility on opening weekend and were greeted by a friendly and knowledgable bartender. We decided to get a flight and were given some help in choosing our ciders. We went with all Noble ciders, but you can get ciders from other brewers both domestic and international.
They clearly love the work they do, you can see it in their ciders and in their knowledge of the industry. The building is set up with lots of seating, games and snacks available. I’m glad to have them in the area and plan on visiting frequently. Oh, and they offer growlers!

This place is just plain AWESOME!!!
I love the support of the local food trucks and live music.
The open space really brings you in and makes you thirst for knowledge of how its made! The entire Still process can be seen from a table while you sip the beverage of your choice.
They offer not only their own ciders but others as well and a selection of beer on tap for those that don’t wish to drink cider.
I suggest starting with a flight to sample the delectable deliciousness. I can’t wait to go back to try the long awaited pumpkin cider that my taste buds have been missing.

Great fun place, out of towners who love cider, live music tonite, food truck, pleasant staff

I have been following Noble for a couple of years. I have chosen dinner spots based on places that have noble on tap. I love this cider. Noble opening a taproom is like a dream come true!
This place features a flight for $ 10. You can try the house specialties or guest ciders. You can also order a pint or a growler of your favorite.
They feature local food truck vendors. I love the Asheville area food truck scene.
Another cool feature is the openness of the establishment that displays the stills, located right next to the bar, which they use to create the local cider how cool is that!!!

Super friendly staff and awesome atmosphere, absolutely worth the small trek down New Leicester Highway!

Needed a drink after getting tattoo just down the street. Noble Cider did not disappoint. Great selection of ciders. Both their own and «guest» ciders. Mostly on the dry side. All very distinct. They also have a short beer list if cider isn’t your thing or you are allergic to ginger.
Looks like they get a steady rotation of food trucks in the evenings.
Interesting design choice … Small «rooms» along the back wall. Looks like the set of The 70’s Show … But set up for games.

Oh so good! Try the standard bearer. Next-​level beer and cider for a reasonable price. Nice ambiance!

We really enjoyed our time here! Such a variety of ciders and everyone was so friendly. Great music playing, food trucks outside, and games to play. Would for sure recommend!

We went to their grand opening as part of my birthday celebrations. Beer and cider drinkers in my group were really into the ciders here. Several of my friends who typically dislike cider, finding it too sweet, really liked the classic and ginger flavors here. They were refreshing, light, and very easy to drink. The Blue Bard was a personal favorite with it’s herbal and blueberry notes. Overall, a great blend of inventive ciders and very well worth a taste.

Noble Cider is seriously good– they have a bunch of different flavors, and I’ve never tried one that I didn’t love! With good dry cider being nearly impossible to find, this place is GOLD! They also have local beers on tap as well as a range of other ciders from American and European cideries. You can see where they make the cider from the bar, which is definitely cool, and they have a really nifty darts room.

SO happy that the Noble Cider taproom is now open. I’ve been enjoying their Standard Bearer at bars and restaurants around town since they started production, and am now happy to be able to further explore their offerings in their beautiful new space. Attended their grand opening and really enjoyed the food trucks and music they offered as well. Highly recommend both the ginger and Village Tart flavors as well. Their cider will please beer and wine drinkers alike. Definitely recommend!

As a cider fan I can say these peeps are on their A game. A very down to earth vibe and of the earth cider so do yourself a solid and make a trip to Noble Cider.

I have been following their cider business before it was available on the market. If you love cider, or wish to try it– you must go to their tasting room. It may seem off the beaten path, but it is only 2 miles from Patton avenue. (making it accessible to everyone). They have guest taps with great local beers if cider is not your thing. Come support a great local business that has had to take its time growing. It is one not to miss ! sooooo good !
