This was the cutest little designer boutique smack dab in the center of the tony Biltmore Village area. We ventured in there on the way back to Posh Boutique Hotel, which is around the corner. The manager (or owner?) was super friendly and helpful. She encouraged us to grab a plastic Easter egg held in a basket on the cashier stand for a discount we could use on ANYTHING in the store– including the high-​designer brands. So DD got a pair of Tory Burch flip flops for 20% off, and my sister got some trendy wedges for 30% off. I picked out a few pieces of jewelry that were on sale and I was allowed to use my 20% on top of the sale price. I paid like $ 30 for 6 pieces of jewelry! I’d go back but I’m not paying full price, which I never do anywhere. That sale at Monkee’s made a savvy shopper happy!

I have gone to Monkee’s a few times on my trips to Asheville. It’s a great shop with great pieces! I feel like some of the price points are a bit high, but if you hit a sale, you’re doing well! The sales staff could be a bit more helpful or enthusiastic about their jobs, but since the shop is fairly small, it’s not out of the question to help yourself. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Asheville!
