Best experiences ever! I went here for my very first Brazilian bikini wax and was so beyond pleased. Cydney was absolutely amazing. She made the whole process easy and very pleasant. I highly, highly recommended this place and Cydney. The atmosphere is clean and modern and so welcoming. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

I just had my first Brazilian wax done by Sam! Overall experience was great. The place is nice and clean and Sam made me feel so at ease. She’s very personable and made the experience as painless as possible. I will definitely see Sam again. My first visit was 50% off! Can’t beat that.

Thank you Unilocal for another perfect recommendation! I’ve been needing to find a new wax location– since my previous one in Crystal City is just too much of a hassle to get to. So what did I do to find one-​consult Unilocal of course! Waxing the city just opened in Fall 2015, and they had rave reviews. With a much closer location to my house, I decided to check them out. Imagine my excitement when I discovered I could book online at work-​instead of having to call, per many other salons! Then I was even more happy that they are offering 50% off your first service with them! Yes! I felt like I won the waxing jackpot! So when I arrived at 3:30, I was greeted warmly by the salon manager. I was immediately impressed by the décor. It’s a gorgeous, bright and cheerful foyer area, with great pictures and a unique gray and orange color scheme. I had water and a nice chat with her about their location and then Cydney was ready for my appointment! I have had tons of waxes so I wasn’t expecting to be nervous, however, anytime you visit somewhere new, you aren’t sure what to expect! Well Cydney topped my expectations and made the experience amazing! She was kind and friendly and I literally don’t remember any pain or sensitivity. She did a really great job-​so much so that I immediately booked my next appointment with her. I also was given their catalog book of services and I look forward to trying a few others in addition to my usual. If you live in Loudoun or any surrounding areas, try Waxing the City. Great spot! Saw Cydney for an eyebrow wax and she was wonderful! She made sure we were on the same page as to how I wanted my eyebrows to look. She took her time and the end result shows. I will definitely be back to see her.

Just had my very first underarm wax with Cydney. She was terrific… very thorough, friendly, and professional. The studio is bright, clean and beautifully appointed. i’m visiting from out of town, and wish I lived closer, so I could take advantage of this salon more often. I’ll definitely be back on my next visit!

What a great experience! The atmosphere is really bright, clean, and stylish, and everyone is super friendly and professional. I went in for an eyebrow wax and decided to give the brow tinting service a try. Cydney walked me through the process and explained how it works and got my input on the type of look I was going for. She really took her time making sure my brows were perfect and they now are! I was able to walk in and be seen right away, but I think it’s best to make an appointment — their website offers online booking so you can see for yourself what slots are available. They’re running a special now with 50% off your first service so definitely take advantage of that!

Tried 3 times as a walk-​in. Finally made an appt. and it was worth it. Cydney, the technician, was friendly and thorough. The staff at the front desk was great, too. The ½ off first visit pricing is a nice way to try them out. Brow waxing is a little pricey if you’re someone that needs to go often but the location is very convenient and the results are good.
For now though, definitely make an appt. while they ramp up in staffing.
Maybe they’ll offer a loyalty program or something similar to keep the services affordable.
I’ll definitely go back.

Seriously the best time a girl could have while getting waxed! Sam is fabulous and makes the entire experience fun! Oh and the wax, fantastic. Very smooth and my skin didn’t feel sticky like it has in the past. I’ll be back!

Yes finally a waxing boutique in ashburn that is quick, painless, and friendly. Newly opened but Sam knows what she’s doing. And yes, you read correctly your first appointment is 50% off! That brought my Brazilian from $ 60 to $ 30!!! (Remember to tip on the original amount tho)
Clean inside with gourmet soaps in the bathrooms and the entire time I was there, between the front desk chick and Sam I thought I was hanging out with my girlfriends. Laughing and chatting, didn’t even know I was getting my service done LOL.

I’ve been looking for a professional waxing place for 6 months. So excited to see Wax in the City come into Ashburn. I had a few services done and all were above board, so precise and exact. I would ask for Samantha, she takes her time, understands the clients expectations and she is relentless on stray hairs! Ladies. you know what I mean! Keep it up Wax in the City.
