Run of the mill Japanese food. Sushi and sashimi, the fish was not properly sliced, each piece way too big. You should be able to eat comfortably in one bite… not here. Also hilarious listening to a Korean waitress trying to explain what each Japanese noodle dish was to a Chinese family who did not know much about Japanese food. Aaah. :0

Very good sushi. Very fresh and delicious. Spicy crab roll was a favorite. House special roll, «Spartan roll» was delicious. Tuna nigiri was delicious and fresh and ridiculously large. I know I’m American but I would prefer balance. California roll with fish eggs was wife’s favorite. House salads. Ginger salad dressing house-made and delicious. Salad itself cool, fresh, crisp, and not soggy. Edamame was properly cooked and hot. Miso soup was pedestrian. The iced tea was fresh, flavorful and delicious. That is frankly unusual for any restaurant. I was impressed. Service was gracious and attentive without being overbearing.

I’ve been having trouble finding good sushi in the area and finally stumbled upon Sushi Noshi. Everything tasted very fresh. The staff was courteous and quick. Highly recommend the pink lady and eel. We’ll definitely be back.

First time here and we will definitely come back again. Great sushi, friendly staff. Mook and another lady waited on us and there were very attentive. Highly recommend this place.

This is my favorite sushi place in Ashburn. James Bond, crunchy crunchy and kamikaze(little spicy) are my favorites. Little Sapporo on the side and you can’t go wrong. Plus it’s right down the street from my office.

My first time here. The eating area was pretty big and i was seated immediately. The wait staff was very polite and made sure I was taken care of(food, drinks, and extras). I had the Sushi and Sashimi lunch special. The quality of the fish was excellent. Large size pieces of sashimi that tasted great and melted in my mouth. The sushi was just as good. I will defintely have to say that I will be coming back. Highly recommend to those in the Ashburn area if you want to get your sushi/sashimi on.

Best sushi I’ve had outside of Tokyo. Highly recommend and will return soon. They have made a non traditional roll called a BLT. And it tastes like a BLT, but with crunchy shrimp tempura. California roll are perfect. The Salmon is so tender and tastes. Melts in you mouth.

I still come here pretty often after discovering this place nearly two years ago. They have such an awesome lunch special that leaves my belly happy after leaving every time! Some of my all time favorites — raw salmon salad –I kid you not, their salad dressing is to die for! Sometimes I add avocados to it, it’s $ 1 extra. — James Bond roll is delicious, my boyfriend ends up craving it all the time — teriyaki salmon bento box for lunch — it comes with tempura, 3 pieces of Cali roll, miso soup, and salad. — PARADISEROLL for all you salmon lovers! I ask to replace the wasabi mayo with the spicy mayo on the side! –spicy tuna/spicy salmon rolls As always, the workers here are very sweet. I come here so much, that they know me on a first name basis, haha. I honestly would choose this place over any other place in NOVA. The sushi here is fresh, and with great customer service, I’m willing to support small local businesses!

Came here because of the good Unilocal reviews and craving sushi. Service was ok, bit slow. Food was good but I wasnt in love or impressed with what i had. Don’t get me wrong, i enjoyed what i ordered but i would probably try a new sushi joint before coming back. And when i revisit i will give different dishes a try.

Great lunch! Spivey ramen with pork belly roasted to perfection. Maintained flavor throughout the ramen bowl… which was HUGE! Also had an order of spicy tuna roll. Perfect… no cucumber — just fresh tuna. I’ve been on A ramen kick for a while. Sushi Noshi did not disappoint. I’ll be back!

This place is soooo delish. Everything is so fresh and our order came out fast! Granted, we got there right at 4:30 when they open for dinner and were the only ones there… But still! I cannot wait to go back here. Seriously. Freshest. Sushi. I’ve. Had. In. This. Area.

Just moved to the Ashburn area and learning what restaurants I want as my «go-to,» places. My husband and I love sushi and soooooooooooooo excited about having found this place. If you love sushi, this is your place. By far, fresh, crispy and YUMMMMMMY! Enjoy:)

Less than stellar. I do not know how this place has 4.5 stars unless this just happens to be the only sushi in town. The quality was about as good as the all u can eat sushi and prices like the good stuff in DC. I wish I had never gone here cause for the last 3 hours I have had bad gas and my friends nor my dog will not even come near me. If you end up here then try the salad cause that is about all I have the star for.

I would give this 5 stars but before I do that id like to go back again for different rolls and a deeper opinion. My boyfriend and I had originally gone into the shopping center for Fords Fish Shack but once I noticed sushi noshi had replaced phở bistro I asked if we could try it. The Unilocal ratings for this place was the reason my boyfriend considered going. When we went in, the place was empty. It may have been because we went at 5:30 but it made us a tad hesitant to try. The staff was very friendly as soon as we came in. She seated us and took our order, then offered miso soup and salad to us. The end when our plate was empty no one seemed to approach us about dessert or the check though, the other waitress kind of stood there staring at us until I waved her over. I loved the food. The rolls are a very good size for their price. In fact for 4 rolls I think we only paid less than $ 40! That’s with two«special» rolls. The spicy tuna and salmon portion were generous. I was taken back because most places over stuff them with tempura or «crunchy» flakes. It was the right amount of spice as well. My boyfriend tends to have a very weird sensitivity to spices. He enjoys eating spicy foods but sometimes he finds even the slightest thing too spicy so to have him enjoy it was very comforting to me. I prefer not to eat California rolls but throwing pretty thick and fairly fresh sashimi on top and calling it a rainbow roll will get me to try it. Now as for the other roll(I can’t remember the name) but it’s definitely a roll I’ll be ordering again. I think we found ourselves awkwardly eye fighting over who would take the last piece. I enjoyed it with extra wasabi on top.

Its an ok place. We still love the other sushi place that is less than 5 mins away from us. The food was tasty. I think the only thing that I didn’t care so much was the food that we ordered. As soon as we ordered the Oyakodon and Ebidon, the food were ready in less than 5 mins! Which we think the food was already prepared ahead of time plus there were A Lot of rice than chicken.

Gave this place a try since I was in the vicinity(thanks Unilocal!) and was quite pleased. Suburban sushi won’t get much better than this. I got two nigiri and two different rolls(one classic and one special), as well as an agedashi tofu appetizer. Most of the sushi was excellent — particularly the generous yellowtail nigiri. The rolls(Pink Lady and spicy scallop) were nicely composed. The flying fish roe might have been a touch past its prime. Service was effecient and on point. A nice touch was the gratis miso soup and salad that were offered to me before my food arrived. Overall, I would say that Sushi Noshi is an excellent option in the Ashburn area when you need to scratch that sushi itch.

I brought my mom(she’s a REAL critic when it comes to sushi). We started with the Calamari Salad which was on the Special menu. I loved the seasoning and it didn’t taste«fishy» which is always a plus. This visit I tried the Firecrunchy roll(which was also on the Special menu), Paradise roll, and Spicy Tuna Crunchy Nigiri in addition to the Peters Naruto I roll and Spicy Salmon Crunchy Nigiri. When my mom gets excited about food she just says«delicious» in Korean repeatedly, & I’m pretty sure she said it at least 60 times from start to finish. The wasabi sauce that’s on the Paradise roll is sweet but still has that kick which is awesome. The Spicy Tuna/Salmon Crunchy Nigiri is great in that the spicy pieces of fish on top with the fried rice underneath really go well together and the taste of the fish really shines. My sister got the Miso Ramen and she was super happy with it. It honestly tastes just as good if not better than those«authentic» Japanese ramen restaurants in DC. In all honesty, this place deserves the 5 stars. The flavors are awesome, the quality is just spectacular, & the service is great.

What a great hidden gem! I do have to admit some skepticism initially on the location, even though my favorite Ford’s fish shack is just down the sidewalk. But the food here is just divine. Don’t know how I ate Sushi in the Sterling/Reston/Ashburn area before this. I ordered the shrimp tempura and crab rolls. They are on the back side of the menu and 5.50 per six piece roll. They were made perfectly. I truly have no complaints. I am excited to try more of their menu. The atmosphere is quiet, but they play great, varied music. I liked the service because it was respectful, friendly and quick without being rushed. I was also excited that the crab, while not authentic crab meat(imitation) was still very delicious. That’s not very common. If you have a choice between here and other larger establishments with more Unilocal reviews, pick here. You won’t regret it!

First time here and it doesn’t disappoint. Great to know that there are other sushi places that has both quality food with reasonable prices. Had the tekkadon and I was satisfied with my portion and quality of fish. The egg omelet however is not tender to the bite, meaning it must be days old and not made fresh. Service is friendly and responsive.
