Loudoun Walk In Medical Center

The quality of care here was excellent. Five stars for that. My wife had flu-​like symptoms dumped on her like a ton of bricks and was _​miserable_​. We live around the corner from this urgent care clinic and visited mid-​afternoon. Her ailment was diagnosed accurately and the treatment program worked exactly as advertised.
The doctor was patient and confident, with excellent bedside manner. His interview to assess symptoms was incredibly comprehensive — among the most comprehensive I’ve ever seen. He explained his diagnosis (flu) and other possible risks (small chance of strep) he was testing for, he gave us very clear treatment and discharge instructions, and the office even called a week later to check on my wife to see that the prescription and OTC treatments were working as expected.
The only reason I’m giving 4-​stars instead of 5 is that they seem to have staffing issues. The receptionist/​intake person left the office midway through our intake and the doctor finished the intake himself. The initial consultation interview took place in the waiting room, as there were no other patients or staff in the office to compromise confidentiality. The doctor had to answer the phone two times during our consultation because there was nobody else in the office. We’re pretty easy going people, and he was incredibly nice about it, but it would give us a small pause about the reliability of this facility for future visits without checking first that they had staff on hand to see us.
But overall, this was an excellent place where we received excellent care. I’d recommend them to anybody needing urgent care.

I would give zero stars if I could. I came in a few minutes after they were open because I’ve been sick for a week. I walk in and the receptionist tells me there is no doctor there today and that he will be back in two days. So they were open but not doing anything because there was no one there but the receptionist. Why they would stay open is a mystery to me. Do not count on service from this place!

Needed an urgent care center and visited this location based on the reviews. Dr. Alykhan was better than most doctor visits where I had to wait a week or longer to be seen. He did one of the most thorough assessments of my condition (allergic reaction) that I’ve ever had and gave me some peace of mind, which is priceless. Dr. Alykhan is courteous, professional, knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner — I will be returning in the future!

My own primary care physician isn’t as thorough in checking me out as Dr. Alykhan was. Everyone was polite and friendly, and he checked with me on everything they did, from cultures to running tests. I feel like he was very knowledgeable and I got a good diagnosis for my health issues.

I don’t have high expectations for emergency/​walk in facilities but this place is a gem. The doctor is very caring and, even if he’s busy, he gives you a lot of time. I wish he had a regular practice because I would definitely drop my current internist and switch to this guy.
When I visited there was one doctor and one nurse/​receptionist. They were both kind and caring. I really like this place and would not hesitate to use it again.

I was injured at work and needed to find a place close to my location to seek medical attention. The lady at the front was super nice and helpful. She had a dual position as far as I could tell. She was responsible for taking my vitals too. She was courteous and thorough. Dr. A was wonderful. He was very thorough and took lots of notes. He took his time which I haven’t had a doctor do in as long as I can remember. I wish this office was closer to home! Glad I got to have a great team look after me today.

Great experience. I found Dr. Fuad Alykhan online and saw his great reviews so I went to go see him when I was sick back around Christmastime
I didn’t have an appointment but I walked right in. I was lucky because it was a little busy by the time I left. There is a fee upfront to see him. On the way out, you pay for any services you use. I had an x-​ray, EKG and blood test. I was able to do all the testing on site, which is good because I really wasn’t feeling up to driving around.
Since I was paying cash, he was upfront about the tests, the costs and whether or not I needed them.
Dr. Alykhan really seemed to care about my well-​being. The next week, they called me twice to check in on me as well. He took the time to diagnose me properly and didn’t rush me at all. I hadn’t been to the a doctor in a long time so he asked me a lot of questions to get a good background on me and really delved into my symptoms

He also worked with me regarding prescriptions and cost effective alternatives.
Overall, I’m really glad I went there and would highly recommend him to anyone. I am going to be taking my kids there for their school physicals.

Our regular doctor has very limited hours on Saturday and my daughter needed to be seen urgently this evening — this was by far the absolute best experience I’ve ever had a walk-​in/​urgent care center. We waited only 10 minutes to be seen… the nurse was nice and the doctor was great! He asked lots of questions and was knowledgable while still being quick and efficient so we could get out of there & start on antibiotics/​getting well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Alykhan!

I was extremely disappointed with this center. I rushed over and arrived at 6:50 pm. They close at 7. I was there because my daughter, 15 month old, needed medical attention. I walked in to get the process started while my sister got my daughter out of the car. After speaking with a VERY RUDE front desk person, I was informed that because it was now 6:55, that by the time we got the paper work done they would be closed. As sad as it is, I would understand this treatment if an adult had come in seeking treatment. However, to turn away a 15 month old child because they were getting ready to close is absolutely astonishing. No where on their website does it say they see their last patient at 6:45, 5 min prior to us arriving. I will NEVER return there nor will I EVER recommend it.

Not professional, money minded. sent a co-​pay bill even for general check up. For general check-​up insurance covers, when I asked for the reason he said I asked some general health questions which is not covered by insurance. Very ridiculous, we went for general check-​up but general health questions can not be asked. Stupid reason.

I have been here numerous times and the wait is always far longer than discussed (even with no one in the waiting room) and the doc goes through every possible body system even if you present with an upper resp infection. I also came in for a back issue was treated weirdly like I was lying (?) to get meds. I didn’t like that, at all. I won’t be back nor recommend that my friends or family go back there.

This place had great reviews on Unilocal,and now I see why. The staff was very friendly and the doctor saw me in just a matter of minutes. Dr. Alykhan was very professional and he treated me as a real person, not just a number. He spent plenty of time with me and asked for my opinions as well. Dr. Alykhan was also gave me some great medical advice such as the need for taking a pro-​biotic while taking an antibiotic to keep the good bacteria in your body while getting rid of the bad bacteria. He is an excellent physician and I will definitely be back to the Loudoun Walk In Medical Center for my medical needs.

First time visitor today, and very pleased. Thorough, thoughtful, and very friendly. I recommend.

Dr Alykhan has taken care of me twice, both in truly urgent situations and then also my dad when he was visiting and had a serious bout of the flu. He is methodical, patient, extremely good at diagnostic and preventive care. My parents were highly impressed with how he took care of me and then later, my dad. I wish more doctors were as attentive as he is. He offers a more European style of care (he really listens to what you say and determines best course of action; you are never rushed or made to feel as if your problem is insignificant). Loudoun county is lucky to have an urgent care doctor of this caliber.

Have been there once. It was not what I was expecting after reading online reviews. Dr Alykhan did not seem confident and sure about diagnostics. He also charges VERY HIGH fees for a visit! clearly overcharges for his services. I will never go back there again.

I desperately needed to see a doctor Saturday morning after flying back home with a cold and ear aches. I am always hesitant about going to walk-​in clinics, but one walk into this office I was so glad I did! I read good reviews about this place so I too trekked over here from Fairfax.
Dr. Alykhan saw me right away and completely examined me. He patiently answered all my questions and kept me at ease. He figured out what was going on and I was/​am grateful for it!
I highly recommend this office anytime, and especially when you need service ASAP.

My 2 year old was not feeling good this evening. I called the Loudoun Walk in clinic a bit after 6pm and though they close at 5pm, Dr. Alykhan told me he could see us if we could come right over, which we did. Dr Alykhan never rushed us and took his time to see what was wrong with my daughter and even gave me the phone number of the only pharmacy that was open in the area to fill in my daughter’s prescription on a sunday evening. I really appreciated Dr. Alykhan’s warmth, patience and care towards my daughter and would definitely recommend his clinic. Thank you for not just being a business but for caring 2…

My regular pediatrician (pediatrics of Arlington, but that is another story) is either never available or takes 2 ½−3 hours to answer pages. This past weekend, our one year old started throwing up uncontrollably, and understandably, we were concerned. We are not a big ER family as it seems like ER’s just want to get you in and out without really addressing the problem. Our pediatrician didn’t return our page until AFTER we RETURNED from the walk-​in clinic, which was a few hours later. A physician friend told us to call loudounmedicalwalkin, so we did. It was a Sunday morning, at 8:30AM, and the woman that answered the phone told us to just come right over. We live in Mclean, so it was a trek all the way out to Ashburn — but sooo worth it.
The doctor saw us right away, checked out our son, told us why he was vomitting and more importantly, what to do to help him. We were in and out in about an hour and a half, no wait, no fuss. We went home and listened to the physicians (dr alykhan) advice, and as the day progressed our son got better. He even called us personally in the evening to see if our son was progressing. Our regular pediatrician just told me, ‘call me in the afternoon so I can see how he does’ — and when I did call (the answering service) took one hour to get back to me.
I understand that medicine is a business, but a very large part of that business is a timely response to problems and emergencies. Loudounmedicalwalkin exceeded our expectations, and Dr. Alykhan impressed us with his knowledge, but also by how much he cares.
