A jewel of a restaurant. So, the basics go without saying. Service was stellar, quality of food great. The big deal here is the menu. Adventurous, but without going off the deep end. I have sampled a few selections off it, and never hit a dud. I don’t know who came up with that menu, but bravo.

Great menu, decent prices, delicious German cuisine. And a wonderful waitress Hanna best service I have had in a long time.

My husband and I just moved back to the area and was pleased to see that this place was open again. I’ve been here twice now and the food is fantastic! Homemade chips are wonderful and I think they’re reasonably priced for the area. My only complaint is the service. My first visit, our server was great. My second visit, our server was AWFUL. Lunch on a Sunday and we were there for almost 2 hours. Luckily, I was meeting a friend and wasn’t in a rush. I have an event booked later this month and will write another review!

If you’re passing through. STOPHERETOEAT. Unexpectedly amazing. Well the boo and I had been out all day fishing and we looked like hell. This place was the ONLY place to eat around so we did not have high hopes but we were mistaken. The place is kinda nice so if you go for dinner, don’t look like a bum like us. The waitress was beyond amazing. Extremely knowledgeable. She was all alone and gave us 5 star service. Inside was clean and cute. Food was unreal. We had this crab cheese dip thing. I think we could’ve dipped anything in the bowl of heaven. I got the Thanksgiving sandwich, worried it would be dry… NOTATALL. It was perfection and the cranberry mayo was a pleasant suprise. I’m not a chip person but there house made chips are thick and crisp. They do have fries but take the risk and get the chips. Worth it. Boo got the bison burger and he loved it. Prices are reasonable and they have different specials every weekend.

Where to begin… if you have rated this place 5 stars I have to assume you know the owner and did him a favor, or your ability to understand what a 5 star rating means. Our waitress and her service was absolutely horrible. With no exaggeration I have consistently received better service at dunkin donuts and Wendy’s. She could not read the what seemed like a never ending list of specials, as she spoke way to quickly, could not pronounce about half of the plates on the list, and did not know the brand of the house red or white. She had to leave half way through taking our drink order to see what was on tap, which I thought was kind of strange, considering there are only 7 crap beers on tap. Our appetizer came out before we even got silverware. Then our main meal was brought out not even 5 minutes after our salads. The proper thing to do would have been to tell us that our entrées were ready and if we would like to wait so we could finish our salad. But instead they were brought out and kind of set wherever because she left 4 empty glasses on the table for about 15 minutes. She set down one entrée and realized two beers were empty, left our food on the tray and went to refill our glasses, then came back and finished setting down the meals. While our food had good taste and temperature, the bison burger was definitely not a half pound, as stated on the menu, I would bet 1⁄3 lb. precooked. Also I was given fries with no ketchup. How does that happen. The best part is this, at the end of the night two meals were not finished and she asked if we would like them boxed. Sure, her response was this exactly, holding out her hand and said«give me» as she waited for me to hand my plate across the table. «Give me»? That’s the etiquette you display and expect a tip? Any other restaurant the server takes the plate for you or brings you a box, which I would have much preferred versus handing my plate to someone with a 5th grade vocabulary and manners. It was a good reminder that if you choose to dine within 5 miles of Washington that is the level of service you can expect. We definitely will not be eating here again and will be sure to not recommend it either. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Like I said, three of the reviewers only have one review and it was this place, nice try by the ownership to inflate your ratings, however the best part about this site is you can’t have a real post like mine removed. This place will be out of business as quick as the last.

I live right down the street from Willows and I have been about 6 times since they opened. Food is all decent. I absolutely love their wings which have always been crispy and juicy, and the flavor is unique. I have had two of the burgers and both were great. I had a ribeye there for $ 18 that was plenty big and cooked as requested. I do agree with another reviewer that the beer prices are a little steep, but nothing too crazy. I feel completely comfortable recommending this place to others. Oh yeah and my wife has Celiacs and the chef personally came out and talked to us about our options. That always goes a long way with us as some establishments can be oblivious and rude about her disease.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food is delicious! This is a business that supports it’s community as they hosted the local football and cheerleading parties. On our most recent trip, I had the loaded baked potato soup and the thanksgiving sandwich. Both were amazing! My husband has the chicken schnitzel and son had a burger and both said how much they liked their food. The homemade chips were an added plus and soooo good!!! Chef Chris is amazing as is the entire staff. My husband wanted to try a new drink and Sarah whipped him up something that he loved. The entire staff and owners are great people who made sure we were taken care of every time we go there. Large parking lot, amazing staff and service… We will be back !!

I give this place 5 stars. We went on one of the busiest nights, new year’s eve. We had a large group and we’re served with a big smile! The food was wonderful. 2 out of the group had celiac disease and could only eat gluten free. Chef Chris knew just what to do and there was no problem. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to go into a restaurant and feel confident that the gravy isn’t thickened with flour. Or there is only pasta on the menu. Service, food and accommodations were wonderful. In fact looking into catering a party in their large room this spring! Thank you Willows!

I have had been to the Willows about 5 times since they opened in December. Several of these occasions were in the banquet room and I also have had dinner in their dining room. I can honestly say that each time the food was great! I thought the seafood combo was delicious. They actually gave you plenty of seafood. The scallops and shrimp were a very good size and were very tasteful. There appetizers were also amazing, my wife loved the stuffed artichokes and I shared the potato pancakes again absolutely delicious. As for the banquet dinners I have attended I found all the food to be excellent! The atmosphere is extremely friendly and prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend the Willows!

I would leave ½ a star but it was not possible, I only send up for Unilocal just to review how horrible my service here was. First, I went here only to meet my father and and 2 brothers. When I arrived there was no parking and some vacant dance party with 90’s shitty house music playing. I got a table only to have the people tell me if my youngest brother and girlfriend(who are 22) did not order an entrée not just an appetizer they would not be allowed to sit. The bar has 7 seats and they were full so my 2 brothers and their significant others had to leave bc me, my fiancé, my father and his date had already sat and ordered. I would have have left if not. I ordered my drink twice while the waitress giggled and admittedly stammered, «I forgot!» She forgot my salad also. My Tuna entrée which was supposed to be famous was bland and tasted microwave, rubbery like a fisherman’s fart. None cared there until the«adult» if our table complained. I suppose I look too young at 33 to be taken seriously. When the chef came out to «apologize» it was more of an «why didn’t you like this» than apology. He actually said, «have you ever eaten tuna before» and«it must be you(all 3 of you)». I have worked in restaurants for years and not in public health. The way I was treated was terrible, worst experience ever!!!
