Woody’s closed and some other restaurant is moving into the location. I have not heard why Woody’s closed.

Like I’ve said before, this is my favorite«Watering Hole». The food is always good, I prefer the burgers, sandwiches and wings over the pizza simply because I’m not huge on pizza but the buffalo chicken pizza is do-able for me and enjoyed by most people that try it. Broncos games are always busy so, get in early if you want a guaranteed seat. Expect a good time with a good crowd of Broncos fans. Lots of «die hards».

I work at a pizza joint with my husband and wanted to try something new. When we get there it was around 930pm .not so busy. .out server seemed she did not care and did not want to serve us. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to drink and she just stood there waiting for me to hurry and choose something after I told her to give me a minute. When I finally got my margheritta I took a sip and accidentally knocked it over I used all my napkins to clean up the mess and she comes back 10 minutes later asking if I would like another. I said no thank you I just spilled mine all over the table and just oh and walked away. She didn’t bring us new napkins or offer to clean the sticky table. We decided to get burgers and she asked us how we wanted them cooked mine was medium and my husband’s was well done. When we got our food we had opposite burgers cooked and had no bbq sauce on mine which it came with but my husband’s did even though his didn’t …I waited 10 min for my server to come back but at that time I just asked for a Dude of bbq sauce. She didn’t smile or want to give us the time. When we got our check she didn’t tell us to have a good night just threw out check on the table and walked away. Worst service I ever had even if I had or service I would still tip this was the first time I did not hesitate to not tip her. I will probably never come back. I wish I could have not even given 1 star.

Went last night with my husband. We saw they had a pizza bar, so we got that. It came with salad and soup. One was beer and cheese and the other was chili. The salad was ok, and chili was decent. As for the pizza, most weren’t fresh and my husband asked if they would be putting any fresh out. The cook act like my husband was asking for a lot. I got one slice of pizza and they finally put fresh pizza out and husband had two slices. The plates are rather small. I doubt we will be back

Getting into the parking lot is a challenge… off of Sheridan directly you would have to enter through the Apartments. And if you DO enter from there and go around the building looking for parking. you end up on the street… lol… its a crazy vicious circle. Now that I have parked… onto my review. Consistency. That is what I like about this place. I can’t really eat pizza much, but I bring my friends here for Pizza, and I often get a sandwich — turkey mostly. Everyone likes it when we come by, and most meet up for repeat visits. I have never been disappointed, and if you want a pizza from the buffet that they don’t have… they will make one up for you. So the buffet is good, wings are decent, pizza great, and never disappointed in my sandwiches. Plus to hear that my 16 month old gets the salad bar for free! Whew!

I’m a Pescetarian which means I only eat sea food — no poultry or red meat… So in coming to this restaurant for the first time, I was hoping for options that I could enjoy. I had only the option of the salad bar or a Five cheese pizza. I chose the latter and oh my geez it was delicious!!! I didn’t even care that I didn’t have many options because the pizza more than made up for it. My husband got a hamburger(not sure which one) and he loved it as well. I tried his mashed potatoes — and I’m very picky about mashed potatoes but these were delicious. We will definitely be back soon!

Food was bland & service was not good, I think the waitress truly hated her job or that’s what it seemed like. There was just no seasoning on any of the food even the pizza. My husband had the chicken fried chicken & I had the personal BBQ ranch pizza & we shared wings… we don’t have anything good to say about any of it… avoid!

We do live in the burbs and in the burbs we eat at funny little chains– not sure if Woodys pizza is bigger than Colorado but I know that they have a few in the CO. I love coming here… we have been a lot ! We always order the pizza/salad bar everytime ! It’s quick, easy, and always delish … The guys know us and will make vegetarian option pizzas. All you have to do is ask .The three cheese is our favorite and we get that pizza every time — the crust isn’t to thick and crunchy but just the way I like it –Sure it’s not the hip fun«highland» hot spot but none the less it’s been really tasty for us !! If your up in Westminster try Woodys pizza bar — I guess in the evening and later it’s pretty bumpin — they have djs and that sort of stuff –plus drink specials all the time ! Have fun and try — hope you will like !!

My girlfriend and I were running around town and wanted to try a new place. She pulled up the app to see what was in the area. We saw Woody’s and thought some wings and pizza would hit the spot. We were there on a weekday at 2 pm so it was pretty dead. We got the pizza and salad bar. They leave pizzas out under warmers. They had about 5 or six different kinds out. I went for a basil pesto tomato one first. It had a really good flavor. The crust was pretty good too. The buffalo chicken was inedible. It must have been sitting out for a while. My girlfriend enjoyed the ham and pineapple. There was no pepperoni out but the server had the cook make one. This pizza is best when it’s right out of the oven. Really good. The salad bar had tons of stuff. beside the predictables. Pudding, fruit, pasta salad, beer cheese soup, chili. The dressing were good. The beer cheese soup needed a little salt and then it was perfect. We got their spiciest option for wings. They came out. A sigh of relief. Nice and meaty. I can’t stand those tiny ones. They are always dry and… well, not big enough. They were moist on the inside. The sauce was actually not as hot as I though it might be. Great flavor. Perfect amount of spice. Good ranch and bleu cheese. I wonder if they make it in-house. The service was great. We pretty much had a personal server. She was friendly and helpful. I like that she had them put a pepperoni out at the pizza bar just for us. We stayed after we ate for a few pool games. They also had a Galaga/Ms. Pac Man machine. If you have pool tables and Galaga I will not be leaving anytime soon. The Galaga machine was in great condition and so were the pool cues. We had a great time and a great meal.

I play with a band, and most… well, all right, ALL of our«practice sessions» end up here after about forty minutes of trying to remember what kind of a show we have. We never succeed, but after gorging ourselves on really tasty pizza and beer cheese soup for a great price, we kinda forget about how bad we are at our jobs and just enjoy ourselves. The pizza buffet is their bread and butter… or, uh, pie and sauce? There’s probably an apropos substitution for that colloquialism given the actual subject matter, but I’m not sure what it is. Anyway, they do have some good entrees and many other reviewers seemed hooked on the idea of the five-dollar burgers, but five-dollar burgers have an end. Ten-or-so-dollar ENDLESSPIZZABUFFETS do not. As soon as they do the same with their beers, I’ll never have to leave again! …anyway, suffice it to say I’ve never tried the burgers. I look at the menu in abject terror that I’ll end up trying something just to change it up and experience something new, only to wish I’d ordered the pizza buffet instead, get cold feet, and subsequently warm them with buffalo chicken pizza and beer cheese soup with the wasabi peas thrown in. The point is that I’m happy with the buffet and if you’re going to go here, that’s what I’d recommend. Years ago, I believe this place was owned by the same folks that own the«Original» Woody’s Woodfired Pizza & Watering Hole in downtown Golden, but it’s now obvious that, while they’re still similar restaurants, they’re no longer related by means of directly-involved ownership, at the very least. This is more of a sports bar, and that is more of a restaurant, but both feature that iconic beer cheese soup I’ve mentioned in most every paragraph so far and the pizza buffet. The Golden Woody’s has better wings, but this one is the location I visit more often, due to the proximity of the aforementioned band«practices.» They probably have dessert! It’s probably as good as the rest of the food! I’ve also never tried it; I usually just go back for more soup order another beer. The waitresses are always really friendly, in that they smile and laugh when a bunch of shamelessly delinquent musicians come storming into the place an hour before close to eat everything that’s not bolted down and give the bartender something to do every few minutes when another one of us needs a refill. We’ll definitely be back again next time we decide to try and practice and ultimately never get anything done.

We were looking for some takeout pizza from a non-large franchise, local vendor and found this place which was close by. We got the Hawaiian, it was alright, nothing really special. The pizza was overall alright, a little expensive for the quality. We would probably order from there again if we didn’t have a choice but it wasn’t that great.

Food was just A-ok, but I’m giving them 4 stars for their service. It was fairly busy on a Thursday night, but we were well taken care of by our server. Wings were better than average and sweet potato fries were delicious. I also left the restaurant leaving my expensive brand new phone on the table. When I called them frantically as I was on my way back to start looking for it, the host assured me that the server turned in my phone to management! I’m so grateful to have found it.

This is a good deal. I let my son loose on the all you can eat pizza for 9.99, and he tried his best to put these clowns out of business. It is actually good pizza instead of the garbage you usually end up seeing at all you can eat pizza joints.

Definitely not as good as the Woody’s in Golden. This one is smaller and passes itself off more as a sports tavern which I found ironic since when we were here it was full of noisy little-league rugrats that made it seem like we were at Chuck E. Cheese. The Golden location has much better atmosphere. So how does the food compare? The pizza was about the same but I still think the Golden Woody’s was a little better. The wood-fired crust is really good and about on par. The tomato sauce was not as sweet as the Golden Woody’s. The one advantage of this Woody’s is their fried sopapilla bites which the Golden location doesn’t have which are definitely recommended. I will probably come back to this one but if I had to choose I would prefer going to the Golden Woody’s over this one.

If you’re heading to Woody’s Tavern from any other direction other than south on Sheridan, be prepared to feel like a rat caught in a cheese maze or Shelly Duvall running from Jack Nicholson in the Shinning… It’s doable, but frustrating. But once you’re in the parking lot, you’ll enjoy the fun, friendly atmosphere and the all you can devour soup, salad and pizza! The Beer Cheese soup is so good, it brings those from the Wisconsin Witness Protection Program out in public, speaking openly about cheese curds, tipping cows, and dropping the dime on «Three Fingers» Malone. They keep the Pizza fresh and flowing, but you have to keep checking back– because just like an Oscar Acceptance speech, you never know who’s «coming out» next. The biggest surprise? $ 5 House Margaritas. all the time. They are quite tasty, but just like a push up bra, a little deceiving… looks like there’s more in there than there really is.

It’s pretty good. It’s not quite as good as the Golden location. Maybe it’s the ambience. I do like that it’s more open and not cramped. But it doesn’t feel as «cool» as the original. Our waitress was very nice, very attentive. Everyone in our party had the pizza buffet. I had the honey bird sandwich. Pretty darn good, exceptionally juicy.

Ahhh Woody’s. Sometimes you just have to have that Beer Cheddar soup. My brother was in and he was craving just that. Conveniently located close to his rental we visited on Labor Day for a Soup and Salad bar lunch. On this particular day we were advised,“Sorry we don’t have a salad bar person, but we can refill whatever you need”. Luckily all we needed was some salad and some soup. There were actually quite a few people in at that time of day. The waiter was nice and kept our iced tea full. We grabbed a few bigger plates from the pizza buffet portion, as the salad plates were kind of tiny for any thing of substance. We didn’t opt for the pizza buffet with our soup and salad, but it looked pretty good. And the Beer Cheddar Soup, full of potatoes and beer and cheddar. It’s so good and luckily I don’t have it enough to grow tired of it. ******side note… I have to have my normal bitch about the salad bar. We are so careful with those who are vegetarian, or Gluten free in things. Why can’t restaurants learn that some people, including myself are allergic to eggs. PUTTHEMATTHEEND!!! and stop putting the dang pot of them in the middle of all the things I like and then can’t have because of the cross contamination. LOL, OK, I am done now.

Great local bar. The pizza is pretty good but I think the main attraction is the soup, salad and pizza buffet. The salad bar has many options and if you want a specific pizza they will make it for you fresh within about 8 minutes or so. The buffet is all for around $ 9. Drink specials are the best in the area. $ 2.50 wells and ladies drink free on Wednesday night after 9.

This place is to pizza what Taye Diggs is to marshmallows. I was suckered into their«famous» «Buffalo wing» pizza. When did we start putting other cultures’ and fast foods onto pizza? Its horrible. Taco pizzas, cheeseburger pizzas, Thai pizza and buffalo wing pizzas. That’s like saying«Hey, you know would be great on vanilla ice cream? COLESLAW!!» The crust was terrible: flavorless. And then it went down hill. They decided the perfect accoutrement to pizza is trashy woman in pubic bearing lingerie. Amateur night with local semi-ho’s shaking their money makers to a DJ who couldn’t mix tapioca from a box, let alone music. It was a stilted cattle call of stretch-marked single –wide mamas showing off their best tramp stamp wiggles while their mullet laden entourages gathered like Sikhs to the Golden Temple. Slack jawed grandpas gave two-toothed whistles, while the contestants passed around a Walgreens-bought Revlon eyelash thickener, like stoners on a four ounce fatty; the crowd watched listlessly to the ever longer breaks the DJ took, presumably to figure out how to play the next song by up-and-coming artists.(AKA, no one you ever heard of, or ever will) The winner got $ 500 and slaps on the tush from long fingered creeps at the bar. What a fun frikkin time!

Really looking forward for a good Philly hot and toasty. Well today wasn’t the day. Ordered a philly and fries and was very disappointed. The hoagie was very dry and cold. The meat and cheese was melted and warm. The fries had way too much salt and pepper, which I normally like but too much is too much. Too top it all off I saw my waitress once. Spent way too much time waiting in an empty restaurant for service. I still love the pizza and tv’s. Most of the time I get good service. You can’t be pleased all the time.
