Foothills Park Apartments

The apartments are small but cute. When I moved in I put a service call in 3 different times for the same thing. It took about a month after the 3^rd call to fix it. I’ve had some damage to my apartment from all of the rain and its been 6 weeks and it’s still not fixed. They told me they’re short handed 2 weeks ago. My patio closet door was swelled shut from the moisture and they pried it open and told me they’d be back the next day to fix it. That was over 2 weeks ago and its stuck part way open now with my belongings available to whoever (I’m on the 1^st floor). It is june 19^th and 94 degrees outside and the pool isn’t open yet for the summer. There are a ton of potholes in the parking lot that are as big around as half a car. Yet instead of fixing them, they just repainted the buildings when it wasn’t needed. You cant even tell they painted them. The people in the office are really nice while they blow you off and make excuses. That is if you can even catch them because they are never in the office. There has been a «will return at _​_​_​time» sign on the door probably 7 out of 10 times that I’ve tried to go in. I really liked this place when I moved in but lately I’m just biding my time till my lease is up.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Management is never around and if you ever see the «returning at _​_​_​time» it’s a lie. If you return at that time you’ll just come back to find that they’ve pushed the clock back another 30 minutes. Half the time when you call you won’t get a hold of someone. When I tried to put in my 60 days notice it took two weeks since once again management wasn’t ever around and when someone was there I was told «sorry, Carolina handles that so you’ll need to wait until she’s here.» I’m so glad I’m leaving this place. As I’m sitting outside waiting for management to come and open the door and venting to Unilocal the mailman comes up and tells me he has over three days worth of mail for them because every time he tries to bring the mail no one from management is here. Surprise surprise.

The apartments are pretty basic, but you get what you pay for. The third floor unit I live in has vaulted ceilings, central air, W/​D, fireplace, open floorplan and at just over 700 sq. ft. is a good deal at $ 720/​mo.
The property management is friendlier than in most apartments where I’ve lived.
The maintenance crew is super nice and friendly but they seem to be woefully understaffed.

I live here with my boyfriend in a two-​bedroom apartment. It has a washer/​dryer, dishwasher, patio, and we overall really like the apartment. At the moment they are changing owners, so I don’t know what to expect with that. Most tenents keep to themselves, it’s not a super social feeling, which I don’t mind. There’s a little pool that is cute, but nothing special. Like any apartment complex, it has its flaws– there is not an outgoing mail slot where we are located. We have to walk across the whole complex to mail something. But I would recommend it, and it’s reasonably priced. One major thing, though, especially if you have kids, is that the parking areas throughout the entire complex are VERY DANGEROUS! Tons of blind spots, lots of sidewalks opening out into parking lots, and it’s easy to miss pedestrians and kids on bikes! It will be very important to drive safely, and to teach your kids to watch out at all times for traffic!
