Some of the best Phở I’ve had. The broth was so flavorful, I didn’t even have to add the side sauces.

Our Phamily loves this place! Today I was reminded of the great customer service. I ordered the charbroiled chicken vermicelli. When I got my order it had tons of sprouts (I’m extremely allergic) when I explained this and that it was my fault I forgot to tell them. No questions asked, with a smile they remade it. With fresh chicken and everything. Thank you Phở Tasty for your great customer service!!!

Good service ! The wait might be long but I think it’s a nice place to hang out and eat out with a friend. Our food was served really quick and the waiters were nice !

I will have to say this is your typical everyday average phở restaurant. Nothing special here besides location. Parking can be really difficult if you come during peak hours. Seating is all open, no booths here. Service is quick as always. I ordered a large phở with rare steak and brisket and I’m pretty sure I got the same amount of noodles and meat as a normal size, just more broth. The pricing is standard. I was a little thrown off by that. I even compared with my girlfriend and her sister and they were about the same. Lastly, there was no itemized receipt. Just the total that the waiter wrote down. I would come here again if i was really craving phở. Otherwise I’ll go to Garden Grove.

I’ve been here twice but forgot to write a review the first time. They’ve updated their interior since the last time I came. The wait is still pretty long because of how small the place is, there are a limited number of patio seating and service was ok. I came with two other people on a Friday night, an hour before closing. It’s always risky coming before closing because I feel that the broth is usually pretty watered down. We ordered phở with beef steak and meat balls, a large and a regular one and one phở with beef steak, large. They do give a lot of soup, but unfortunately the soup wasn’t very flavorful. The veggies that were given to us weren’t very fresh. I’m glad they didn’t give us tap water. There was a good amount of noodles and meat but I was disappointed in the amount of meatballs they gave. My large had one meatball cut into half and so did my sisters regular bowl. Also, I’m used to my phở tai meat being somewhat rare when I get it. Here, it’s well done. There also wasn’t enough onions and green onions in the phở. Prices were about $ 7.25 which isn’t bad but I prefer Phở Lu.

The BF was feeling sick and needed phở early in the morning. I appreciate that this joint opens in the morning, though truth be told I find phở to be a strange breakfast choice! Does anyone else find it weird that this restaurant and Super Bowl Phở in Pomona area have the EXACTDUPLICATEMENU? Maybe the two restaurants are related somehow. Either way, this place is better than Super Bowl Phở in terms of taste. Very generous portions of noodles and meat. I was impressed at how much they fit into a Small size order. Nice service.

This is my favorite Phở spot. I always drive down here from Downey to have this Phở because it’s that good! I found out about the place through a Unilocal search back in 2011 and I’ve been a regular ever since. Over 1,000 reviews and they’ve been able to maintain great stars! So you know they must be doing something right! The only downfall is that the place can get packed with a lot of people. Sometimes the parking lot does get full, but there’s so many people coming in and out of here that if you wait a bit someone is bound to leave. The waiting of a table can be long depending on what day and what time you are going. Usually Friday and Saturday nights are busy. The longest I’ve waited on those days for a party of 2 has been 20 minutes. They sit you down and quickly take your order and bring your phở out to get you In And out quick! Try this place if you’re ever in the area.

I know when I last wrote my review, I was really displeased with their to-go food and how I kept finding strands of hair in the noodles. After that, I really never ordered to-go, instead, I just went into the restaurant to try their food(I know. The irony of me doing this LOL). Anyways, the phở isn’t all that bad when you eat it in the restaurant. They just recently remodeled the place as well. Looks more modernized. I still think the portions are a little skimpy and so is the meat portion. One thing you should definitely try is their charbroiled beef spring rolls! I absolutely LOOOOOOVE these! This is probably the main reason why my parents and I only even go to this spot. If you’re there, order these, and you’ll see what I mean. Other than that, the phở is basic. You’re looking at $ 8.00 a bowl for a «super bowl» of combination phở(phở dac biet). It’s not even a super bowl lol.

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants around the area. Be prepared to wait, because it is always packed. And for good reasons, good food is worth the wait. The phở and the broth is out of this world. I also had the shredded pork with broken rice, which was super delicious. The fish sauce was just right. We walked away satisfied and fulfilled. This is the epitome of a good phở restaurant. Highly recommend it. The parking can be a challenge especially on weekends. But the servers are pretty efficient so the wait is not all bad.

Pretty damn good. I ordered for togo. Service was nice. Friendly guys up front. I ordered 2 Phở and 1 Cha Gio. The Phở portions are freaking humongous! With 2 bowls of Phở I was able to make a 3rd and I was still super full from just barely half of the serving of noodles. Meat. Oh man I love this place. I got 24 slices of rare steak in one Phở Tai. Everywhere else you get like 12 or less! I just wish they gave out more hoison sauce cause 5 ketchup packet sized packets of hoison sauce was enough for maybe like 10 dips. Egg rolls are bomb diggity. They come with vermicelli! Whaaaaaaat! That was a first for me but no ragrets cause it was delicious. Pickled carrots were more on the strong side but I loved it. I’ll be back. Recommended.

They are«SKIMPY» on the meat now!!! They are putting less meat and noodles in the phở bowls now!!! Complete RIP-OFF!!! Ordered the super bowl, and it was more«broth» and less noodles and meat… NOTACCEPTABLE. Oh hell no!!! Maybe it was a one time deal a couple of weeks ago, but they skimped on the portions size when we both ordered a large bowl of phở(super bowl), but instead looked like a small phở in a large bowl because the noodles and beef were few compare to what I recalled from eating here. I was hungry that day after walking around the Antique Show in Long Beach, and just went at it when they brought the bowls to the table. I ask my lady and she said the same thing after we finished eating. That’s called«cheating the customer». I should know from past experiences what a large bowl of phở looks like here, not that day. Either they are trying to scam us or think we are both stupid not to know any better. Not coming back anytime soon, it’s not on my list of places of phở places to recommend anymore. Cheating the customer means you don’t see me coming back here often if ever. I can’t refer a place when they are not consistent. Just shady!!! Nuff Said.

Whenever I’m in Cerritos, I always get Phở Tasty to go. Its very close to the Cerritos mall. The prices are great and portions are always good. Broth wise… one of the best phos I’ve had in SoCal.

Best phở in the 562 area code! I want to say that it’s just as good as Phở 79. Yup, I said it!

Solid local Viet spot outside of Westminster, garden grove, Saigon. Been here a couple of times and I haven’t been disappointed. Staff are quick and friendly, food comes in huge portions and are pretty delicious. I usually get bun thit nuong cha gia, but decided on bo luc lac,(diced garlic steak) and it just brought me back to my New York days. A little too much onions for me, but the buttered rice and vegetables were delicious. Can’t ask for more!

I used to love coming here as I’ve been a loyal customer for the past ten years or so. But something about the dinner tonight just didn’t sit right with me. Before I start, I did notice this place got an update throughout, even the bathroom. So that was quite nice and I’m happy Phở Tasty is doing well still as it was a packed lot as usual at 8pm. However, what seemingly was different from the rest of the time I’ve been here is the friendliness of the workers. I never felt that today. From waiting in line, to ordering, to delivering the food to us… the whole time it felt like we were given the cold shoulder. It is always true to hear the quote, «you go to the restaurants to eat, but you will go back for the service». The food here is always good but he service was way off. But of course, I still left tip as I always do. There were no flies or hair in my food and all was delivered hot. To explain further, when I was waiting for a table for us, we were told«you’re next, if we have a table for you». When we were given the food, the food runner just placed the food in front of me, without saying that it is. Then when I asked if it was«XYZ food», the food runner replied with, «Is this XYZ food?» Honest, I thought I was in a twilight zone episode. To note, the noodle portion was small in one of our regular phở bowls. To compare, we even ordered a kids meal at $ 5.25 and it had more noodles there than the regular size. Lastly, when the check came and I was paying, there was no itemization of the food prices individually. Just a final balance. I don’t know about you, but as a consumer, I would like to see where my total came from. I question the total but it was getting late and they were about to close in 10 minutes so now I am home and writing this review. I’m not sure if this was an odd night for them. I’ve never had problems here, but after tonight’s dinner, I question myself about coming back here. Ten years in the same restaurant is a good run right?

Seated quickly upon arrival around 7pm on a Tuesday evening. The parking lots was busy but luckily we found a spot right away. We were thinking it must be good! The place was packed with a mix of Asian and Caucasian folk and a few Hispanic. Ranging from kids, families and friends having dinner. We ordered egg rolls and I swear they came out within 3 minutes! They were crispy and delicious. The sauce was on point as well. My BF ordered the Phở Tai well done and enjoyed it. I ordered the Phở with shrimp and side of barbecue beef both regular sized. Barbecued beef was flavorful the only critique I have is that they gave only two pieces of small shrimp in my bowl. My son shared with me and inhaled the egg rolls instantly. He also got coconut juice which he enjoyed very much. Service was really fast here. We all enjoyed our dinner especially because I have a little cold. Our whole meal came out to $ 28! Super affordable. I would definitely return again it really hit the spot tonight!

This is the best place to get phở in cerritos, and everyone knows it. I don’t think I’ve ever not had to wait to get seated. That being said, it’s worth it to get some good phở(within this area anyways). There’s two sizes and you can choose to add on extra meat or other things. You get the usual plate of onions and garnishes. The servers aren’t very friendly, but prompt, so I can’t complain. Not much to say because most phở places are pretty standard. The parking lot here is really small, so you might have some trouble finding parking! There’s a big plaza next door that you can park at and just walk over if you can’t find parking.

This place gets super packed and parking sucks because it’s small. I’ve heard it’s actually better to park across the street instead of trying to find a spot in the lot. Expect there to be a crowd when coming here but they are pretty efficient and quick so the wait is usually not too long. The food here is really good. I love that after eating here, I don’t feel slow and sluggish. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Nothing fancy in terms of selection but sticking to the basics isn’t a bad thing. They kept their menu simple, a few appetizers, phở, bun, com and drinks/desserts. They did a break down of their offerings for their phở ingredients which I thought was genius — they even included photos for the novice phở eater. If you choose to order additional sides, they all come submerged in their own small bowl of phở broth. The dishes on the menu included all the classics but also caters to an Americanized palette,(really, who eats peanuts and broccoli in their phở?! To each their own.) The hoisin sauce used here was great, not the average hoisin at every other restaurant. It was less salty, sweeter and more fragrant. A good phở is judged primarily on the broth, it’s your make it or break it. The broth here was not overly salty and had a good richness to it without being overly fatty. I strayed from my usual and got the dac biet(combo) which had a good sample of all meats. I topped off my meal with a che xuong xao(grass jelly). A combination of grass jelly and tapioca in iced condensed milk. At first sip it was ridiculously sweet but as the ice melted it evened out in flavor. We were pretty lucky and beat the crowds, but toward the tail end of our meal the lines began forming out the door — another tell tail sign of success.

Phở was the perfect choice for comfort food for a drizzly day. If you’re looking for good phở in the Artesia/Cerritos area, this is it. You can phở-get about the rest! The parking lot is pretty small, but we got lucky with a spot. The restaurant is pretty bare and no nonsense, but that’s not a bad thing if they’re focused on the food. Service, as it is with most phở places, is quite fast — our bowls were out to us within minutes. I got the #6, which basically comes with everything. I liked how the menu has pictures of meats for the phở newbies who are not sure what Tripe is. My phở hit the spot! The broth is delicious… I almost drank it all. The meat was pretty normal quality compared to the other phở I’ve had. Really there’s nothing to complain about… the service was great, the food was great, and the price was right. What more can I ask for? It’s a cheap, healthy, and — yes, TASTY — way to fill up phở-sure. Sorry, just wanted to squeeze in one more phở-nny pun. Aaaaand I’m out.
