Denny’s

Wife and I went to this Denny’s restaurant and 16 907 S. Pioneer Blvd., Artesia, CA on Thursday, February 11, 2016.
We both ordered two coffees, water, and the Sr. Omelettes
Both omelettes were very dry, they tasted like they had been cooked several hours before hand and kept in a warm oven in anticipation for a larger crowd earlier in the morning.
The coffee was very good and our waitress Edith H. kept both the coffee cups and the water glasses full. She’s a very good waitress and for a while it look like she was the only one working waiting on the customers.
Wife and I will definitely return when were in the neighborhood but if it’s for a breakfast omelette we will order a freshly cooked one.
The total bill came to $ 21.97.

So I am a refular at dennys or should i say I WAS a regular at dennys until i had a horrible experience at this one… first off we got there and were seated after not tooooo long of a wait, we had to flag down our waiter to order which we didnt mind i guess it is dennys… but then after waiting 2 hrs for our food (remind u only 3 of us and a baby so not alot of plates) we asked to speak to a manager he let us know there was no cook??? But food would be out soon and hed be back to refill our drinks but never came back… so food came out cold and 2plates of 3 were wrong! We were so hungry by then we just ate it… then we asked to speak to the manager again cuz we were pretty pissed by then but this guy named david who is supposedly a manager just kept saying u guys want this entire meal for free??? Thats all he kept saying and we never even asked for that… we asked for someone to talk to about our shitty experience and hoped for a discount but we paid FULL PRICE and i said id call and speak to supervision. They were nice and were greatful to here about this and actually seemed to care… sent us a gc of 10 dollars but honestly itll be a while til its used if it even is and DEFINITELY NOT AT THE ARTESIA DENNYS… would say 0 stars but have to pick at least one

We came here on a Sunday night and it wasn’t busy at all (which is good!). The gentleman that seated us acknowledged us quickly and was polite. Our server, Rogelio, was great too. He gave us time to decide and order. He was very tenative and made sure we always had full drinks. The food was also served hot and waa good, better than other locations I have been to.

Found a long disgusting hair in my eggs. While the manager is really nice, the last thing I want is to drive back to the restaurant to have my to go order re-​made. A reimbursement would have been nice, as I now have no dinner. Will not be returning.

This Denny’s was recently upgraded with a face lift. New place, new employees, great food, who could ask for more. We will go here more often.

The food was cooked to our satisfaction. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and cheerful.

This has been my worst experience at Denny’s. I mean I’ve been to bad ones with good service but this place was just not cutting it.
1– Dishes were dirty and I mean really dirty. NASTY. Even the seats were wet and oily.
2– Server James was Rude. He wasn’t our server but when he came to deliver the food he was saying «who ordered…» And he was still afar from our table, so to say it out loud was pretty rude. Then he said «could someone pass it down», a please and thank you would be nice to add on to that sentence.
3– The computers were down and it would be nice to be warned before dinner that Cards are down and cash only. It was ridiculous.
I work at a restaurant and I would know busy. This place wasn’t busy. Get a expediter to help check and deliver food and a busser.

I was in the area and kinda had a taste for Denny’s type of meal so went there.
Located right next to Quality Inn and suites, right off of 91Fwy.
The server was pretty nice but the food was very disappointing.
The toast, steak and sides were all cold when it was supposed to be straight out of the kitchen.
So I asked the server guy to heat it up.
He took my plate to heat it up and came back, anything barely changed…:/ I didn’t go to Denny’s expecting them to have the highest quality steak dish but meat was tough and like I said, everything was cold… it got bit warmer after it was microwaved but yeah… I expected better.

This is my go to Denny’s I love them but today it was horrible! Especially the manager I spoke too like really how can you guys go bankrupt over 14 dollars? LOL she was talking non sense! Anyway I had hair on my food and my 2 year olds Mac and cheese so I thought the waiter showed the manager because she said «I will show them» so I’m over here thinking like oh the manager knows so she gave me a check and I was like «uhh I have to pay for the food that was hair in it?» Oh and that’s why she gave me a little scoop for my baby of ice cream «to make up for it» lol and the manger said «they loss a scoop of ice cream» like really??? A SCOOP OF ICE CREAM!!! So anyways it wasn’t my intention to get the waitress in trouble I mean she is awesome! I would of given her the money I would of got back as a TIP! But the manger was just talking out of her ass! So I don’t know how that lady became a manager!

This particular Dennys was not busy at all. We ordered our food and they gave me the wrong side… ok that’s fine the waiter brought me the correct one after I told him… the food portion was very small for a dinner plate… I had to ask for my sauses for my dinner and my bread came all smashed… my mom asked specifically to make her hash browns well done and asked him three times before he sent our order to the kitchen and they did not come well done… suprise! We were never offered refills on our drinks… my dad got a steak salad and hated it… the portions were small and the meat was fatty… the waiter brought my dad a bit more meat because he was upset about it and my dad still didn’t eat it because the poor quality… my dad sent it back and note’ the salad wasn’t eaten but a few bites… so this particular waiter either had gotten little training or is not good with customers… all he would say is sorry… he didn’t seem at all interested in making our experience at the resturant any better… he just repeated the same words I’m sure he says to all the customers and I’m sure with the same enthusiasm… I could tell this guy is just there to collect a pay check… so last but not least he hands us the check and boom the salad was still on the bill … we never asked for it to be taken off the bill prior to us getting the bill… but come on we already had a poor experience and the food was hardly eatin and your still going to charge us… man… talk about poor customer service…
If you’re looking for a place to eat with a zombie waiter, poor customer service and over priced food for the portions. This is your place!!!

Fast and the food was okay. The service was good and the restroom was cleaned.

Good for what it is, Denny’s. Food is a bit greasy and it’s so loud and chaotic on the weekend mornings. The service is always good.

Love this Denny’s. It’s a great spot for late night cravings, having coffee and a conversation, and going just because. I’ve never had a bad experience here with the staff. They are genuinely very nice and attentive. Their hot chocolate is so good! You can’t ever go wrong with the choices Denny’s gives you. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. It’s all pretty good here. I’ll definitely continue coming to this diner :)

Bad service. It’s Sunday night (9pm), the food took forever, the waiter never came to check on our table, and they cooked my friends medium well steak to well done.

Denny’s is your go-​to place for life’s «I’m craving something» moments, which most likely is at some ungodly hour where nothing else is open. They have solid breakfast food, which of course, isn’t the best breakfast food you’ll ever have, but it’s consistent, good and hasn’t failed a late night craving once. Service is always solid here, especially at night with Jabes, our usual server!

I went tonight for dinner and it took forever to get food, literally like 45 minutes, I noticed it was short staffed only 2 waiters but the waiter looked super high and kept forgetting things. Like to bring coffee and creamer and he brought out my boyfriends food first and I ordered at least 15 minutes before he did, it also wasn’t packed in there. It’s not the best place to get together to study as well because there’s no outlets but I do know many people that go to study there. I personally wouldn’t come here again.

This resturant is really bad for customers who have dennys coupon.
I have received a coupon by email but they ask me the original coupon. How can I get the original from my email.
They are crazy.

The food– well you know where youre eating. I think most of us if not all, fall under one or more of three catagories
— drunk. Post club grub
— you want to sit down and eat and theres no where else open
— you have a random late night craving for breakfast but are too lazy to cook it yourself
Went last night at around 3am. Pretty empty. The security was ‘securing’ a nap when i walked in. Right next to the manager.
Apparently his power nap gave him a lot of energy so him and all the servers were fraternizing loudly next to us. Not my words but i heard a lot of ‘mofucka. Nigga… Shiiiet… Gettin some ass’ Look, im not a square and do plenty of cussing myself but thats so unprofessional and not what i want to hear while eating. It really comes down to management since he turned a blind eye. Even if its not busy, find something to do or just chit chat where we cant hear you.
Our server who was in that group actually gave quick and polite service so i have mixed feelings.
Good thing i only come here out of a last resort sort of necessity

thursday morning crowds at 9am… people not work… seated quickly and coffee please… familiar thick denny’s mug for coffee… refills prompt… searching menu, but not finding $ 2, $ 4, $ 6 or $ 8 specials… taking the original grand slamwich… bit greasy… hash browns crisp, thin and missing soft center. filling, but disappointed
