The auntie that works here is very nice and helpful! It’s basically a one stop shop for everything wedding related that doesn’t involve clothes. They have grooms shoes, bangel sets for the Sikh bride, parandey, bindis, tablas, statues, candles, dishes, etc. No spices though despite the name!

This is not a grocery store, although the name suggests otherwise. Don’t walk into the store in expectation of purchasing grocery. This place has pooja materials, Ayurvedic goodies, copperware and idols. It’s like«Granthge angadi» like we say it in my language! The owner was friendly.

So little love for one of the best shops in Artesia. Yes, the name makes no sense, but years ago this was a grocery and dish store, and it looks as if the new owners never bothered to change the name. I find this quirky, not misleading. This is one of the best places in or near Orange County to buy puja supplies, basic cookware, dhotis, murtis, and most of the basics that you need for home. The employees here have never been anything but super friendly and helpful, the store is clean, and I love that unlike the other stores on the block the background music is generally bhajans and other devotional music and lectures, not overloud Bollywood soundtracks. I wish I could say more about this shop, but it is small and has what I need and is my go-to shop for puja and devotional items. I guess that is enough.

Jessie and her mom helped my mom and I find a Ganesh god for our home. They were very helpful and explained what everything was for. I highly recommend this shop. Friendly, Educational, and Kind. Good Karma!

On a search for artwork and India culture for a school project. We found this little shop which looked great from the outside, but my opinion quickly changed as the owner(or who I assume was the owner) followed us around and stared at our every move. I’m definitely not going to buy anything if I don’t feel welcome.

A local recommended this place to find copper tableware, which I’ve been seeking out for months. It’s a friendly shop with a variety of jewelry, tableware, hindu items, dry goods, Ayurvedic health supplements and incense. I could have stayed here all day browsing had my baby not been overheating and on the verge of a massive breakdown. I ended up buying two reinforced copper cups, a silver bangle and some rose water. Each item would have cost significantly more anywhere else, especially yoga boutiques. The woman running the store even gave my baby a bangle to ward off«black thoughts» … and she hasn’t cried since!
