Schnucks Supermarkets

It’s shunucks, a supermarket. Pretty much good to stop and get some things on the way home.

I was looking forward to their sandwiches after a several day bout of GI distress (no real meal for several days). Not fun. I had their sandwiches before & was delighted with the variety until today. I looked up & was surprised to see a tiny size menu board. For real??? No way! Seriously, seriously, seriously??? A la Meredith Grey style. For $ 4.99, I got a Schnucks roast beef with mayo, tomato & avocado on a half-​size toasted white french bread baguette sandwich. The sandwich itself was okay, but I miss my ciabatta. Where’s the freaking ciabatta??? And the other kinds of bread??? Damn it, Quizno’s & Sonic closed. Subway has established their turf firmly in Arnold. Jimmy John’s is on the other side, & I’m too lazy to go there for simply a sandwich & with no other shopping.

i am updating my review only because I have been going here at least once a week and I am disturbed by the window up front that they have racks of candy pushed in front of and there is just wads and wads of dust bunnies and dirt and dead insects accumulating and nobody can even get to it to clean it. I blame this on bad management… if I was in charge at the store the first impression of that window front would be a priority to make it sparkle… the bathroom was also so dirty that I decided to «hold it» until I got home… there seems to be a problem with cleaning as of late… get it together Schnucks!

Don’t order from the flower shop here! I ordered a fruit basket for my father in-​law and it was promised to be delivered to him on a Saturday and he didn’t receive it until the following Tuesday.
After calling the floral department about the issue, I was treated with total disrespect from the employee I talked with and she actually insinuated that it was MY fault that the fruit basket arrived 4 days late, She was totally rude and and not apologetic at all.
Horrible, horrible customer service on the part of Schnucks and I will not be giving them my business in the future!
