I like Honeysuckle for their large inventory. The clothes are sorted by size. The fitting rooms here aren’t very comfortable. They are too hot, and not all of them have a chair. When I am trying on pants, skirts, and dresses it is nice to have a place to sit to put my shoes back on. The employees are usually pleasant when I check out, but are otherwise not friendly. I don’t know if it is because I usually shop there when I’m in jeans and a graphic t-shirt, but that shouldn’t matter. I like to consignment shop for work clothes, and for when I’m feeling dressier outside of work.

I used to have good luck at their store and the employees used to be friendly, but they must have a completely new staff. Today I stopped by to see if they had anything that would catch my eye and no one said a word to me. When I walked in 3 women were at the front, all made eye contact with me, and said nothing. Not a «hi, how or you?». As I walked through the store one of the women started hanging clothes in the area I was in, made eye contact, and again said nothing. Didn’t even crack a smile! I didn’t have any luck finding anything in the store, so as I was leave(to no surprise) no one said anything again. The entire time I was in the store no one even acknowledged my presence. If you want business, don’t treat your customers like they’re invisible! If you go in here you better be dressed to the nines, because if you go in in a t-shirt like I did, you’ll get treated like you don’t exist.

My car broke down across the road from this shop, my phone was dead and it was pretty warm out. They let me used their phone to call AAA, helped describe the location and even looked up the AAA phone number for me! All the customers seemed happy and I can see why, the women who work there are very friendly. When I have some free time and extra cash I will definitely stop by and visit just based on the kindness they showed me.

Current consignor and they have been fabulous to work with. Always greeted warmly upon arrival and there is never more than a 5 minute wait while they review the items I have brought in for consignment. During my first visit, they were eager to review their contract terms and provide recommendations regarding when I should bring items in depending on the season. I have not yet purchased anything from their store, but from the items I’ve seen through browsing, they are in great condition. Will continue to do business with them.

Great consignment shop! Prices are on the fair-to-high side, but they do sift out the junky and worn stuff, so you are getting the most out of your time. Remember to note the«colors of the day» for markdowns. Also there is a clearance area in the greenhouse part of the store — great values. The temperature fluctuates painfully with the weather outside, but there are some great finds in the greenhouse if you can stand the heat/cold. The fashions in the shop are supposed to be only a few seasons old, which is probably accurate, although it is hard to know for sure. The fashion taste of this shop veers toward the preppy, conservatively dressed baby-boomer(so «Annapolis»). These fashion tastes are timeless and slow-moving without many trends, so you have to know what you are looking for to be sure it’s current, if you care about things like trends in colors, hemlines, etc. You probably won’t buy something cutting edge here; the styles are very«safe» which is consistent with what the locals would wear themselves and be bringing in to consign. The shop has a set apart area for higher end designers. I am always impressed with the boatload of Lilly Pulitzer exuding preppy colorful cheerfulness. Also the home furnishings part of the store and the children’s furnishings are nice. Maybe a touch frumpy and conservative décor-wise, but high quality and in good serviceable condition.

I was getting dressed this morning when I realized that probably 80% of my clothing is from this store. I’ve been shopping here since it opened. Everything in the store is very chic, very classic, and in great condition since the ladies are selective about what is consigned. Great brands at a wide range of price points. The tags are color-coded, and every time you come in, a certain group of color tags are 50% off. I bought all of my special-occasion(homecoming, prom) dresses here through high school, and I look forward to shopping here every time I come home from college. There is absolutely no good reason to spend twice as much money on something that you could find in identical condition at Honeysuckle. I’ve been able to buy a wide variety of high-quality clothing; much more than I would have been able to buy new(especially on a student’s budget!) Also, Honeysuckle makes it really easy to help you branch out. Everything is very cute, and it’s all different styles. I wouldn’t have been able to justify buying red patent Elie Tahari flats«just for fun», but I bought them here and I now wear them with everything.

I adore this store. Lots of high end pieces, and unlike Echoes And Accents, when they stick a high price tag on an item it is very clear why it costs that much. While they have lots of mainstream brands, it is definitely my go to store when I want a higher end item at a steep discount. The clothing store is in one shop, is well organized and easy to lose track of time in. Pay attention to the handbags and jewelry out front, as well as their ever changing selection of great sunglasses. The furniture/home goods section is in an adjacent shop, and it is well kept and laid out. Such a pleasure to walk through and browse, with a great selection of items. I spend more time convincing myself that I don’t need another ________in this store, because I am tempted to buy at every visit. Highly recommend.
