Everyone who works here is very friendly. Can’t beat the prices. Plenty of free movies for the kids.

I don’t normally rent movies since I can never find the time to sit through an entire movie. But when I do have the time, I either come here or Redbox. Several months ago, I got a coupon to rent movies. When I went to pay for the rental, I got asked «why I wasn’t renting any movies from them» or something like that. I was kind of offended. Why do I need to give a freaking reason for not renting movies from your establishment? I have a life. Maybe, it’s new employees. Prior to receiving this coupon, I would rent movies from here off & on for the past 6 years. This past week, I got another coupon to rent. This time, I wasn’t asked that same question. FYI, don’t get DVDs if you can. DVDs can be easily scratched. Blu-​Rays can’t, but cost more. Before Blu-Ray’s came out, I had to rent DVDs. Most of the time, the DVDs were scratched. Great selection of movies. Friendly & helpful staff.

I pass this location many times on my errand trips, so I decided to walk in and see what this place was about. I kind of miss the blockbuster type establishments that has physical media to watch films, in addition, the redbox is getting kind of old.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover Family Video.
The lady greeted me once I walked into the door. Family Video is kind of like blockbuster, but the store is pretty huge. They have videos ranging from Kids to New Releases along with Classic films, and TV shows. They also have a separate room for video game rentals.
I picked out my film and took it to the register, wanting to see if I could register. They took my phone numbers and tried to verify my cell phone number by calling it. This place doesn’t use ID cards for membership, they simply ask for your phone number. I hated the fact that I had to store ID cards in my wallet, so that was another convenience. The salesperson also gave me a tour of the place, so that was another great customer service feature.
The only negatives about this place is that the films can be rather pricey, especially for new releases. Iron Man 3 on blu ray was a $ 3.50 rental and I could find it at a Red Box for $ 1.50. However, because I was a new member, I got the 50 percent off rentals for 30 days.
There are restrictions for new members, so be wary about that as well. If you do tend to rent a lot of movies, this shouldn’t be a worry, since the restrictions are waved after you spend $ 25.
I will definitely be back as this location gave impressive customer service as well as there is a huge selection of movies, not to mention kids movies are free.

I love this place! The best deals around. Most kids movies are free ^_​^ I signed up for the half off program and save a lot of money too.
