Nice place. Decent food. I would say the pizza is above average. Great crust, good selections and usually fresh. The pastas are really hit or miss. I’ve had linguini and clam sauce that was dry and flavorless, but also raviolis and penne a la vodka that were delicious. The eggplant parm was just average. Too much breading, and tasted like the kind you can buy frozen. The service has always been solid, and the other entrees that we tried like the veal scallopini and chicken parm were pretty good. Just not great. All and all I’d give the food a 3, and the service a 4⁄5. My only real issue service wise is with a quirky policy that wouldn’t allow us to order pizza by the slice unless we sat in the bar area. Huh? We wanted to try a few specialty slices that looked good when we walked in, but were told no unless we ate at the bar. Makes no sense. We spent $ 65 on lunch, but couldn’t get a slice of pizza? Poor management.

Was here recently with my husband for dinner. We had a very nice experience. From the service to the food, all were spot on! My husband had a pizza off the specials menu. He enjoyed it very much. I had eggplant parm with a side a spaghetti. I love eggplant parm and this had to be one of the best I’ve had, even with the skin kept on(which I usually don’t like). The sauce is rich and flavorful and the pasta was cooked perfectly(al dente). We will be back!

Yummy! We ordered delivery and they said it would take 45 minutes, but they arrived 20 minutes early. I got the turkey and avocado panini with the harvest salad(so good!!) and my boyfriend got the chicken parmigiana with a side of penne pasta. Needless to say, we were slept for 10 hours and didn’t eat again for another couple hours after that haha Seriously delicious and will definitely order from here again, or go to the restaurant itself!

The ambiance of this place is really lovely. It has a nice rustic feel, and we went to eat on a warm evening when the patio was open. Menu is diverse and their selection of pizzas and pasta dishes will satisfy your Italian cravings. I ordered the Margherita pizza and the ingredients were very fresh, but it was very heavy on the cheese which isn’t typical for Margherita style pizza. The main issue I had with the evening was the service. Initially, we were seated and our orders were taken with efficiency. After our dessert was ordered and eaten, we were utterly forgotten. I took out my wallet, which was seen by numerous passing waitstaff for almost 25 minutes, but our waiter was no where to be found. He may have left? We didn’t see him again. Only after I flagged down a busboy did we finally get our check.

Excellent food, staff, and atmosphere! There is a broad range of delicious food on the menu. Huge fan of the pepperoni rolls. The staff is extremely nice, friendly, and always willing to make sure everything is a-ok for you, as a costumer.

The nicest pizzeria I’ve ever been to. Not sure how long this place has been around but it looks brand new. Great ambience. I ordered a slice of marguerit pizza. It was excellent. Would definitely try this place again whenever I’m in the area. I do recommend.

Not only is the food amazing, they’re great people. I asked for wine corks to help with a project for kids and they jumped to help. Shop and eat local. They’re the ones who are there when you need them. Thanks, Joe and team!

I live in the White Plains area and I have had delivery several times. I just had food delivered and the driver gave me an attitude and says it is to far. I guess I won’t be ordering from them again.

A mediocre Italian restaurant at best. We were really disappointed with the overall experience of our meal. The staff was very friendly but couldn’t understand what we were asking when we asked them what were the restaurant’s specialty dishes were. There were a few other language issues/misunderstandings throughout the night. The antipasto and calamari were OK but that’s were it ended. Both the bread and Italian cookies(at the end) were all stale. Our expensive pasta dishes were the most disappointing. The pasta was hard and the bowl extremely hot to the touch both indicating that they microwave their food. The sauce was so bland we asked for red pepper just to eat it. The cannoli were OK but we were told they were brought in. Lastly, the atmosphere/décor(which I normally wouldn’t even mention) made NO sense, a garage door, a tent and odd decorations did not make it feel inviting just ODD. The worst was the over inflated bill at the end for what we received. JUSTREALLYDISAPPOINTING.(And I almost never write reviews!) With SOMANYAMAZINGITALIANRESTAURANTSINTHEAREA, DONOTWASTEYOURTIME!

Ok. So this is a week late in my review but what ever. Great things are worth it. So last week I traveled up to New York from DC after running a Presidential Dinner. Figure I stay in Manhattan the food Capital of the east coast. Enjoy some good food an family to decompress. My sister Texts me and says hey you want to catch dinner. Off course. So Here is the set up. She takes me to Armonk NY. Which I haven’t been to in a while. when I asked what we are having she said Italian. So I’m thinking Average Joes Italian restaurant right. WRONG! AMORE from the outside is not your typical Italian Kitchen. I felt like I was looking at one of those cool buildings in Vail Colorado, The ones you want to take a family picture in front. Entrance way had Large pumpkins in the door way to greet you(and there real) nice simple holiday touch. When You enter you immediately know that a lot of time and effort was put into the design. Seamless floor, beautifully exposed brick walls, and the ceiling looked like they had taken the ceiling from a barn and added it in. Come to find out they did. Pretty awesome. Black and white Pictures of the family flow thru the dinning room like art, and it works. the Lighting was perfect, thought put into the lighting which is important. Seamless Tech music not to high, just enough to drown out conversation keeps this NYC style Busy restaurant calm. Patio in the back is tented off to add more seats for large parties which is perfect for couples who want to dine in the sexy and comfortable main dinning room I say NYC style, because when I walked in I immediately I forgot I was driven 15 minutes from the city to dine here. the take out counter/brick pizza over area which is not and eye sore like most places, was jumping all night.(good sign). Small but perfect bar, filled with locals couples enjoying small plates, great selection of Italian beers and wines. Naturally there was a wait so we opted for the bar. For me Im easy I gauge everything from the bar. plus I can get a drink faster(lol) Glass Ruffino in my hands within seconds of sitting(perfect) Kenny the bartender was very busy with waiter tickets from the dinning room. But everyone at the bar had Bread/oil/water /wine and there food and refills regardless of how busy he was with the dinning room. What I thought was cleaver was the bread was served in old Can tomato cans with parchment paper. side plate of seasoned olive oil. Perfect Bread mind you. Plus the Bar was clean from all points of view. Which in most restaurants that are this busy the bartenders are a mess and so is the bar. Not here. Good training, good bartender, great management hire. Kenny Rocked it all night. even made us laugh with some Simpson references later on. Ok so my sister order Italian Fries or they were sent out by the chef. And my first reaction is what is this. Looks are deceiving. So hand cut wedges, with bolognaise and Burrata on top. The Burrata was perfect creamy amount of hand made goodness. Haven’t had that good of Burrata since I was in Florence. And I work in the food industry. THESAUCE!!! holly SH%$ this sauce is Money. forget everything you know about Italian sauces or think you know. What I had tonight blew me away. All I wanted was bread and to dip it in the sauce and eat the cast Iron it came in it was so good… OMG. But We had to move on. My sister selected a chefs tasting, so first was the fresh beet salad with olive oil and parm. Farm Fresh Beets that melted in my mouth, my sister who doesn’t like beet was blown away and ate everything. For me It was perfect, farm fresh, NYC foodie style presentation. Yes Im in Heaven. Second course was a mixed field greens with Fresh Butternut squash, Simply he best salad I have had all year. My Picture doesn’t do this justice. The vinaigrette dressing was money! the salad was like a foodgaizm in my mouth with each bite. Was so overly happy and headed towards food Coma when I was done. And even when I was done I didn’t want it to end. COuld have had it for my entrée. So for Entrée out comes Mushroom Tortellini. And your thinking ok frozen like every other place in NY and or NYC. NO — hold the phone. These are imported from Author Ave in the Bronx and are hand made. HANDMADE«What!» You can tell by looking at them and when I ate one it reminded me of eating fresh hand made dumplings. OMG so good. SO Wine Flowing all night, and watched the takeout area pump out some insane and sexy pizzas. The styles of toppings, the look of the pizzas(sexy). Even the personal pizza size I saw go to tables were hand made sexy round golden goodness with cheese! So will I be back. Um Yes! AMORE made me feel like I never left Manhattan, but also didn’t feel like I was in Manhattan either. Mark & Joe the owners out did themselves with this sexy, casual, a must dine Restaurant In New York Period. #Foodnetwork Take Note! Again will be back. OMG that sauce!

Updating my review: the manager reached out to me pretty quickly about the receipt issue. There was a mix up where another table’s tip was charged to me and the staff is very sorry.

Our waitress Teresa was awesome. She«wowed» us with impeccable service. The food here was outstanding and absolutely amazingly good. The host was a true professional. I would highly, highly recommend this place. I would drive hours to come back.

Freshness and ambiance and service make this local Italian spot a gem. Patio dining is relaxing beside Amore’s own seasonal herb and vegetable garden — with their fresh ripe tomatoes, eggplant, zucchini, basil, mint, and peppers on the menu. Aperitifs are beautifully served by Ken behind the bar, whose skillful hand and amiable wrap will make you feel comfortable. Recommended dishes include eggplant rollatini, fresh fish specials, chicken parm with pasta, and any salad. Piazza by the slice, whole pie at your table, or delivered is delicious.

Found this place while driving from NY to a wedding in Connecticut. The service is great and the pizza is amazing! Nice size slices, good ingredients and perfect taste! A must try if you live in the area or if you are just passing through. Stop on by and try the margaritta pizza. And they have outdoor seating for those nice August days.

If you remember Amore from their previous location(where they were for many years), you’re likely to agree that they continue to raise the bar when it comes to pizzeria restaurants. Many will also agree that the owners made a very smart move by completely remodeling what is now their new location in the heart of town because with all of the surrounding competition as well as the now heavier nightlife traffic in trendy Downtown Armonk. Beyond the rustic look is a full bar, a brick oven as well as indoor and outdoor dining. Their wine list is good as is their food but their laminated and oversized menu is crowded and seems all over the place, making for possible indecisiveness when it comes to choosing what you’ll be having. The service can also use some consistence as the last time I dined here on a Wednesday night, it took a good 20 minutes after we sat down for our drinks and the service was a bit sluggish throughout the evening.

Came here for a price fix going away party we each paid $ 18 and got salad a water and two tiny slices of pizza. Will have to go out for lunch after this. We are all hungry. Ridiculous. Update: after seeing this review they brought out more pizza and we all left very happy. I’m very glad because its the best pizza in Armonk

Another Great experience I’ve been here several times now and have enjoyed each visit. the new location is really nice. We had a group of 20 and our tables were ready for us when we arrived. The food came out immediately as we were still getting drinks. Bruschetta first that was fresh and not too garlic-y. The salad was really nice, well seasoned and very fresh and crispy. All of the pizzas were great and we even had one that was Gluten Free. We had the broiled salmon and it was perfectly cooked, fresh and served hot. The wait staff is very prompt and courteous. Our waiter, Sammy, took great care of us and made us feel at home. We were never rushed and had a great night. We brought our own desert cakes and they served them up for us without an issue. There will be many more nights spent eating here.

For any etymologist Unilocalers out there, Amore is Italian for«love,» and boy, can you feel the romance in this newly remodeled pizzeria. The dim, yet ample lighting and intimate setting makes this restaurant a low-cost option for a first date or just a family get-together. My friend and I went at fairly late on a Friday(around 9:30) and were seated right away. They started us off with two types of complimentary appetizers: bread with olive oil as well as bruschetta. The olive oil was tangy and delicious. Loved the bruschetta as well, but I did spill the tomato topping on my pants as I bit into the toasted treat. Having already eaten dinner, my eyes went straight to the dessert menu. Our waitress recommended the tartufo. I’ve never heard of anything like it before, but I can easily say it was one of the best frozen desserts I’ve ever had. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream were encrusted in a thin chocolate shell and supplemented with whipped cream and frozen cherries. The cherries, in my opinion, really made this dessert stand out. It was well-portioned(could probably have been split in two) and had a blend of flavors that can only be described as divine. My friend ordered the calamari and a cheese pizza. Definitely recommend the calamari. Crispy, chewy, and spiced to perfection: everything calamari should be. The pizza was elegant, flavorful and crispy. Cheese was well-distributed and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Not the best pizza ever, but it’s definitely in the top 10. Certainly recommend. I am in amore with Amore!

We have been going to Amore for years and were thrilled to eat at their beautiful new space last night. What a lovely upgrade from their previous spot! The building is gorgeous and they did a really amazing job with the interior design and décor. Our waiter even mentioned that the whole kitchen and everything is brand new. We sat in the dining room and noticed that they also have a great tented party room that probably seats about 60 people. Dinner starts with complementary bruschetta, olives and a small bread basket. We had wine — a Nebbiolo by the glass and shared a Marc Anthony(?) salad and the Cavatelli with broccoli rabe, garlic and sliced sweet italian sausage. The pasta definitely tasted homemade and the whole dish was just like my Mom or Grandma would make. We were full enough from our dinner that we did not order dessert, but they do offer a complementary melon & honey and two delicious italian cookies with our coffee. Above and beyond everything else, our waiter, who had been out waiter many times at the previous spot, is just about the nicest guy you ever want to meet. He is so personable and helpful, everyone who works at a restaurant should be so wonderful! Amore has long been a meet up spot and will definitely continue to be. Congratulations on the new space and best of luck!

This place is amazing!!! Where do I begin. Great atmosphere. Great friendly staff. Amazing food!!! The bruschetta. Fresh. Crispy. Very delicious and nice The calamari!!! Must have appetizer. Not rubbery and over done just perfect. Got a great bottle of wine and it just set the night off right. The owner sent us something to much on whole we waited. The mozzarella was so fresh. The tomatoes so juicy. Just everything amazing in presentation and taste from start to finish. The main course was amazing. Who knew zucchini could be that delightful. My salmon was done perfectly the mashed peas was awesome just great job. You only get one chance to make a first impression and this one sealed the deal for me. I can’t wait to be back in the summer when they open the patio. Great place 5 stars for sure
