This was by far the WORST facial I have ever had, and it was expensive. Where do I begin… they didn’t cover me during the session so I was freezing, the towel I lied on was so old and awful, it felt like sand paper.
I have no idea what products they used, but I saw CVS baby oil. I think she used this on my shoulders during the massage. Baby oil!
They constantly tried to up sell me, to the point of annoyance. The service was half the time indicated (30 min vs 1 hour as stated on menu) and I passed on extractions due to my concerns of their cleanliness. Seriously. Trying to relax while freezing, concerns about the products they’re using, and looking up at a shit stained ceiling.
How is this place in business? I will never go again. Do NOT waste your money here. Awful awful awful.

I purchased a groupon to get my hair cut, colored, and styled. I cannot remember the gentlemen’s name that did mine but he did a very good job! There was a girl that was also helping, I believe she was in training. The only issue I had was that she was a bit slow, but she was being very precise and i’m pretty sure she was a bit nervous. who’s not when they’re new? Luckily I had time to kill so it all turned out okay! I would definitely recommend purchasing the groupon and giving this place a shot!

I have never written a review before, but this was so bad I feel that I need to warn others.
I was gifted a Groupon for a mani pedi for Christmas, but after DOZENS of calls was only able to get an appointment in April! Each time I called the guy on the phone (which I assume is Yuri) was extremley RUDE and somehow they never had any appointments available. Funny enough, when I got there, the place was empty!
First, they tried to get a bunch of my personal information (Address, phone #, etc) claiming they needed it to register my Groupon (Umm NO), since I refused the lady in the front, I had to then talk to Yuri again, always a lovely experience…
Finally, I started and was told it would cost $ 5 – 10 to take off my gel polish. When I asked what this range depended on, she said «how hard it is to remove your polish». Not surprising at all, at the end it was $ 10.
I was there for a total of two hours, after which I had to leave so my car isn’t ticketed. In two hours, the girl was able to only do my feet (2 hours!!) and take off my gel my butchering my nails, no polish applied.
After all this, and despite not getting a full manicure, they still charged the $ 10 extra on top of Groupon!

Came in for a regular pedicure since this place is located close to my office. I wasn’t sure what to expect as a first time customer, but I was pleasantly surprised with the service. Presented with the offer of tea, water, etc., upon arrival and was able to sit down for a pedicure within a minute after picking out my polish.
I didn’t request anyone in particular for the pedicure, but I’m happy that Jamella was the person available. She absolutely gets 5 stars! She was extremely detailed and gentle during the whole process – cuticles to the foot filing. I chose a new 2016 summer shade of OPI polish. The salon has a wide variety of options including up-​to-​date colors from OPI. Jamella asked me what I wanted for shape (square or rounded) and asked me if her filing was ok before proceeding with polish. I was in the mood to relax and catch up on personal emails and not chitchat, and she was the perfect person for me because she focused on her task and did an excellent job with application and carefully examined her work when she was done.
We’ll see how it holds up during my trip to Florida next week, but overall, I’m impressed with the service (Jamella, you’re great!), nail color options and ease of making an appointment. I’ll definitely be back!
One side note – I tried to turn on the massage chair while I was getting my pedicure, but it either didn’t work or I didn’t know what I was doing (it’s a toss up!). It would have been nice to have been shown either how the chair works or how to work the chair.

This was such a great experience. I was skeptical because I had the groupon, but they were so accommodating and you can tell yuri considers hairstyling a craft. He was so considerate and helpful And all the assistants were so gentle on my thin hair. Amazing highlights and cut and will definitely be back!

Don’t come here, they try to charge you money when you use a groupon.
I bought two groupon for eyebrow waxing/​threading. I took my mom the first time it was ok. The second time I went there, they said you are not a new customer anymore, you can’t use this groupon, we have strict policy only allow new customer to use it. We don’t want to send you home and if you want, you can pay for the $ 15 difference. What’s funny was when I bought the groupon, it says nowhere this needs to be first time customer only. Actually groupon says can buy an additional one as the gift, which was the case for me. You can see them trying to get money from you. They don’t like you use groupon. They kept saying «we are strict about our policy», I was thinking to myself, you can be strict about your policy all you want but you lose a customer forever, will never go back.
Anyway, this place wasn’t that nice, I saw their machine and mani/​pedi station, they are old and kind of dirty. I wouldn’t pay for the full price to do anything here.

The only reason I am writing this review is because I had a really bad experience. I took my friend here and we got mani and pedis. The woman who did my nails was really rough and did a terrible job. I asked her to be gentle, but she ended up cutting 3 of my fingers and they were bleeding. I asked to wash the wounds and she sprayed alcohol on them. I talked to the manager and he apologized. My friend’s manicure was also done poorly.

I was very nervous about getting laser hair removal and the staff made me feel very comfortable and I must say I do not have to shave anymore! It’s very easy and I am a lot more confident !

I had a fabulous shellac manicure here today. Ellie was very professional and took extra care to give me a great manicure. She also helped me pick out a color that would match my still intact pedicure (from somewhere else) perfectly.
The location is great and the salon was very clean. Yuri was also very nice and made sure I was happy with everything. I will definitely be back!

I would put zero stars if I could. I called and tried making an appointment the guy was rude. I told him I had a groupon and he insisted I give him the voucher # but I have never had to do that before he then said I must have not bought it. I definitely bought it though! He then said he wouldn’t give me an appointment then! Are you kidding me! Never go here! Customer service is awful, they clearly don’t want business.

I got a haircut here that I’m not totally satisfied with. I didn’t feel like Yuri knew what I was talking about so couldn’t give me what I wanted. I led him through my ideas but at certain times I could tell he didn’t know what I wanted so I had to stop and explain to him before he went further. He was ready to cut my hair, not being able to even visualize what I wanted, which to me is scary. Good thing I stopped him. I wanted shorter bangs than what he gave me and it isn’t layered in the way I wanted. I definitely don’t think it was worth the $ 85 he charged me. My blowdryer stylist person didn’t even know how to dry the bangs and made one side look weird. If you are looking for an edgy or modern hair style, definitely don’t go here. They just stick to the classics.

I was hesitant after reading some of the other reviews. I got a Groupon for this place and went for a pedicure. I was very clear about what I was looking for and the beautician did a great job. Staff was friendly and welcoming, I enjoyed my visit.

Being a fairly macho guy, the thought and actual activity of getting laser hair removal did not come easily. This establishment and Nadia in particular made it not only easy for me to go through with it, but a pleasure. I actually looked forward to how quick, simple and painless the entire process was, and the results were fantastic. It is easy to get to and they will pay for your parking. If you need any sort of salon or spa services, especially laser hair removal, this is definitely the place to go.

The laser treatments are a waste of time and money. I bought a groupon for large area and the technician wouldn’t do more than a few inches on the area I asked for. Then wanted to up charge me in the thousands to get what I thought I has already paid for.
I’ve had over ten sessions and the hair won’t go away on the area at all. Don’t waste your time or money here. There are other locations that charge more reasonable prices for actual results.
I’ve given two stars as opposed to one because they do use a more «gentle» laser. It tends to hurt less than others I’ve experienced. However this seems to be their excuse for charging obscene prices.

Laser treatments here were a waste of time. The treatments did nothing and their technician is unhelpful and does not practice good sanitation. I had to ask the tech multiple times to put paper over the table before I laid down and I never saw her clean the protective glasses before or after my treatments. yuk!
I gave an extra star because the manager of the establishment was nice and called to give appointment reminders.

Overall the personnel and the location is great that is why they get an extra star.
As far as their Shellac manicure I would grade them as one star– it did not last more than a day for three nails and two extra nails failed on day 4. Certainly I would not be returning and probably I would not be recommending it to anyone for the above treatment. Not sure if the protocol that they follow or the nail polish was problematic.

Someone from Yuri contacted me and offered me another manicure, on them, but the first experience was so amateurish, I haven’t taken them up on the offer. Not worth the time

My wife went here for a haircut and was not happy with it. She said that the hairdresser treated her hair very roughly while detangling and that some of her hair was damaged as a result, including some of it being pulled out!

I don’t have pedicures often, so my experiences are limited but I remember them all well. Everyone was very friendly and enthusiastic to help. I was greeted with a smile, offered a drink, and my bags were whisked away. I liked that there was a lot of space, the music was at a nice volume, and my pedicure was completed without any problems or nightmares.
My only dissatisfaction was the massage aspect of my pedicure. I’m not sure if this is customary, but of the five or so pedicures I have had, I’d had satisfactory foot massages and the massage chairs have been effective. I didn’t find a comparable experience this time around, and I really enjoyed that part of my previous pedicures.
Overall, I would say this is a great addition to the more recent developments in Rosslyn, and recommend people to try it out. As I was walking out, Yuri offered me a coupon for 50% off hair services, so I will come back to try that out.

I got a nice, solid haircut from Yuri. It’s not the best I’ve ever had and it’s certainly not the worst — it’s just good. He cut my hair the way that I asked — no surprises. There’s really not much for me to say: The service was good, the cut was good, the price is right (I used a groupon). And the salon is near the metro so yeah, use them!

I am SOOO happy with my haircut here! I was a little apprehensive because I came in with a Groupon so I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. They offered me something to drink right when I walked in (it was a hot day so it was much-​needed). One woman washed my hair, Yuri did the haircut, and a third woman blow-​dried my hair, and it looks and feels healthy and soft.
I was the only one in the salon so they took care of me right away. Yuri actually listened to what I wanted and made sure to check with me about the specific lengths I wanted my hair to be, which I appreciated.
Overall, I am really happy with my haircut and I say go for it if you have the Groupon! (Without it, the services can be a little pricey, but judging by the service I received it may be well worth the splurge.)
