I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. I’ve only eaten at a TL&C maybe two or three times before in my life and always found it underwhelming. But, the wait at Pappadeaux was twice as long as they’d quoted me on the phone(grr) and we didn’t want to drive all over looking for somewhere to eat at 8:30 on Friday night so we stopped here. Our waitress, I think her name was Laura or Maura(darn my crappy hearing), was awesome. Seriously excellent service. She brought us samples of the smoked sirloin because we’d never had it before. Hubby ended up ordering it, I went with something else as I prefer my meat with a little char, but it still had a nice flavor. She also told us if we didn’t like anything we ordered they’d swap it out(not that I would take her up on that unless it was something I flat out couldn’t eat) but that wasn’t necessary anyway. We split a crab cake starter — I really enjoyed this. It came with guacamole and a nice aioli. I would order this again and it really makes me want to try the crab /avocado stack salad sometime. I had the regular ribeye, it was very good. Lots of flavor, just about the right amount of salty. It was fatty but ribeyes always are, and you can just cut out the chunks. My side salad was pretty standard, no complaints. The 5 cheese mac and cheese was probably worth the cheat, it was good, definitely not velveeta although maybe not as «sharp» as I usually prefer. I wouldn’t necessarily need to order it every time, but I would order it again. Prices are pretty comparable to Saltgrass and a little higher than Texas Roadhouse. I’d come back.

Ate there for the first time last night. For the appetizer I had Brisket stuffed jalapenos which were very but also very rich. I had the Cajun Spiced Ribeye, fried brussel sprouts and jalapeño grits. Everything tasted great. the bartender was also very helpful, he recommended the dishes above. Will definitely be back.

Nicely decorated and were sat quickly. Host asked for my name which she wrote on a paper and left on our table until dinner came??? Ran out of ribeye steaks on a Saturday night? 9oz filet had zero flavor, bone in ribeye wasn’t horrible. Salads came halfway through dinner. Manager seemed uninterested and half asleep. Waitress was bad. At least crab cake appetizers were good.

Whenever we are in Texas we try a new steakhouse and our hotel suggested this place. It is really good! Great food, great feel and the friendliest people we ever come across. We ate in the bar where they have comfortable booths in addition to bar seating and Keke waited on us she was very nice and had great suggestions. I haven’t written many reviews yet but I was very impressed with this place and all of their great staff.

Greeted nicely and offered drinks. The beers are served perfectly chilled the patron margarita is nice and fast but we watched them make it, and he used the bottom of the shaking glass as a strainer. Not good form. The threesome with queso, spinach dip, and smashed avocados(kinda guac) was good 4 – 6 oz containers with a bit skimpy on the chips but they will give you more. $ 12.99 The brisket stuffed jalapeños with BBQ ranch are mild and no real kick. For some they will hit the spot but if you’re looking for heat look elsewhere. $ 9.99 The empanadas with sweet green chimichili sauce, is very nice the white meet chicken is moist and flavorful the filling has a salty quality which balance for the sweet sauce. $ 8.99 For drinks no specials on Sunday see m-f picture, good deals. Rahr Sons Ugly Pug on tap is a dream, dark rich smooth life is good 12 oz for $ 6 We had the platinum patron margarita full flavor good size not too sweet. $ 9 The Whiskey Smash made with TX Whiskey mint and lemon, is like a whiskey mojito without the soda. Nice light flavor perfect for the whiskey lover looking for a no bite moment. $ 8 The Texas Paloma made with Milagro silver tequila so limo blood orange liqueur fresh Lime and Agave. A bit too salty that sweetens out over the drink. The grapefruit over powers the blood orange which is solely for color. $ 9 Overall service just above meets. Knowledgable but forgot a lot.

This place is okay. The bar was empty on a Friday night but the staff is great. Nothing special but nothing bad either. Good food, nice selection of beer & wine. Try it.

Easy to spot off the interstate is this large restaurant in Arlington. Not far from Six Flags and Cowboy Stadium, this place will give you a good option to eat. The decorum was clean and nice and matched the personality of a Texas style restaurant. Parking is free and abundant and the staff was friendly and fast. Food choices were good and typical of a place that specializes in cow. My brisket sandwich was juicy, large and delicious. I can see myself coming back here again.

My boyfriend Frederick and I went down for the Dallas/Atlanta game for his birthday. I wanted to take him somewhere nice for dinner that served steaks(his favorite) that had a great review for their food and atmosphere. We started there for the tailgate pre game where we met Amber and Kiera, went back after the game for appetizers and then went back for dinner. Kiera informs us that her husband was the manager, that the food was incredible and to ask for him when we came back. Needless to say they were one of the restaurants that had excellent reviews that I had previously located. We go back for dinner(late because I overslept) and got there at 9:50. The restaurant closed at 10pm. Matthew Walker, the manager insisted we come on in and that they would be happy to take care of us. We had met Matthew earlier and informed him we would be back for dinner. When we got there, he says«where have you been, we’ve been waiting for you?» I felt bad, but I didn’t want to let Frederick down either. Our food and service was impeccable the entire day. The crab cakes, the steak, soup, and everything we had was the best I have ever tasted. I wanted to make sure that upper management, owners of Texas Land and Cattle know what great staff they have working at this location. Next time we come to Dallas, guess where we’re going? Thank you all again for everything you did(especially Matthew Walker) to make Fredericks birthday extra special. Marnita Zander Atlanta, GA

We decided to eat here before the Cowboys game because we wanted to be close to the stadium. GREAT decision!!! The stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious– good amount for 3 of us to share. The filet was cooked perfectly– one of the BEST steaks I’ve had in a long time. The salmon was also great– the bayou aioli sauce was so flavorful. Amazing food and great service! After tonight, this has become our new spot to eat before the game!!!

Came in last evening with my boyfriend. Our waiter was very courteous! The service was great, the food was excellent and my beer was nice and cold! I have had a lot of not so great experiences eating in the Arlington area. This, was a very good experience. Our waiter was very sweet and took very good care of us. I can’t remember his name but he was serving in the section by the bar. We will definitely be back! Very good service :)

Don’t know why Unilocal gives Texas Roadhouse a better review. Only complaint I have is that they were out of some things 30 minutes before closing. Service was excellent and the food was perfect.

The food and service is very good. They also get major kudos because they were able to email the tickets that my cousin and my wife forgot without even blinking an eye. Very professional all around. We live here and continue to be customers and spread the word.

I enjoy TXLC, it’s always been a decent place to get a good steak. The atmosphere is nice and rarely a wait. Wait staff is also pretty good. I come here for the smoke sirloin. It is my absolute favorite! I was excited to see that they are now offering a smoke sirloin promotion — you get 4 courses(appetizer, soup/salad, steak and dessert). Sadly, tonight was the first time that I was truly disappointed with my meal. I’m always hesitant to give a bad review because of one bad meal, but it’s worth mentioning. My husband always order the Cajun ribeye. The spice is amazing! I’m lucky that with a marriage certificate, you are entitled to eat half of his steak. The few times I have enjoyed his steak, it was melt in your mouth delicious. Sadly, my steak was, well sad. It was way over cooked! To be a smoked sirloin, there was absolutely no smoke taste. I’m not a complainer, but my waiter didn’t visit my table often, so I either had to eat the steak or wait. In the end, the manager made it right. Forgot to mention my appetizer, brisket stuffed jalapeño poppers. Oh my gosh! If you are not in to extremely hot foods, do not order! I have never felt something burn in my stomach 2 seconds after swallowing. They were too hot — not enjoyable. I will be back to this location. I will review again on my next visit. Every restaurant is entitled to a fluke, and I will just chock it up to a bad night.

We have not been here for years, and not at all since they moved locations. We were headed to another steak restaurant when we passed it, and decided to circle back and give it a try. SOO glad we did! Our server, Michael, was excellent. For the price point, the food was excellent, as well. Loved it all. Had a wedge salad, ribeye, and sides of asparagus and macaroni & cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and had almost no fat/gristle that needed to be removed. The asparagus was amazing. The hot loaf of bread to start was excellent. The only«complaint» I would have was that my margaritas were too small(ha!) We will definitely be back.

I went there for lunch and ordered off the menu. It started with the pleasant experience of my bread arriving so hot I couldn’t tear it apart. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. I ordered the lunch ribeye for $ 19.99. I was not expecting it to arrive covered with peppercorns. I said something to the waitress. She replied that was how the steaks were seasoned. I scraped them off my steak. The steak was flavorless and very unappetizing. We ordered the sweet potato and broccoli as our sides. They were good.

The atmosphere is great. With hardly any people for the lunch hour they still sat us right by the entrance in what looked like a waiting area with tables. The sourdough bread was kind of hard on the outside and the knives we had to cut the steak would not cut through the bread neatly. I ordered the sirloin with shrimp and I got slices of what looked like flank steak. The wedge salad was really good with Catalina dressing on it. The shrimp skewer was really good. The strawberry lemonade left a lot to be desired. It tasted kind of like flavored water with hardly any strawberry sweetness to it. When we were leaving we grabbed a couple toothpicks and they were pretty cheap. As in they broke from trying to pick meat out of our teeth. The lighting inside by the bar is very dark and makes it difficult to see the menu’s tiny letters. Will I go again? Eh, maybe but most likely not.

I must say, for the business traveler, this place rocked, particularly for the price point. It isn’t Mortons, but it was pretty darn good, and great price value. I had the smoked steak, and it was done to order, loaded bake potato and a cup of soup. Excellent and attentive service. Well done Texas Land & Cattle! #MyMCLife

We celebrated my daughter’s 19th birthday in the«private» dining area. We received excellent service, the food was delicious and affordable! I ordered the chicken steak. Loved that they had a vast variety on the menu!

Pros: great service Good and crunchy, nicely seasoned green beans Cons: not so great food I got the smoked sirloin with peppercorn sauce. The steak was good, but not great. The sauce was lackluster, and didn’t even taste like peppercorn. And where was the garlic in the garlic mashed potatoes? On the other hand, the chicken tortilla soup was too salty. For the price and quality, I don’t think we’ll be back.
