Tried this place for the first time for lunch today after class, fast and quick and located walking distance from my class! This new location replaced Diggs Tacos from a while back. Overall was delicious and the chips were thin and crisp but the salsa did not wow me. I ordered the buffalo chicken philly and it came out to be about $ 8, $ 1 extra if you want to sub chips with waffle fries so that would be about $ 9. I would say it was pretty pricey but the sandwich was very good. I would definitely return but not that often unfortunately I don’t plan to make this a frequent lunch stop due to the price and the amount you get is only substantial.

This restaurant is beyond disgusting. The tables/floors were filthy. I ordered my family’s meal to go. When I got home the queso smelled like spoiled milk. The fries were so cold & rubbery I would assume they were several days old. On the flip side, the sandwiches were ok. They definitely need to take some lessons from the Texadelphia on MacArthur in Irving.

Very interesting place. I went to eat about 1:30 on a Tuesday. There was one other table occupied in the place. There was no one at the register. I waited several minutes until a couple came bursting out from the back. My order was taken. I could not find a properly bussed table in the place. Every one I started to sit at had crumbs, drops of drink, salt, on the tables and on some of the chairs. There were three staff members in the back having a lively discussion. It took about 20 minutes to get my sandwich, which was cold. I told the server that I almost left. The sandwich was ordered without onions and with extra cheese. It had onions and not very much cheese. One of the ranch dressing containers had dried on dressing on the outside of the container.

I went to the Texadelphia located in Arlington on the UTA Campus. My expectations weren’t high but I was still hopeful. When I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, I was met by friendly and helpful staff. I ordered their traditional cheesesteak and chips. Mind you, this was my first experience here so I just assumed I would be getting some kind of potato chips or something; what I got was tortilla chips! Ok, so tortilla chips aren’t the end of the world; however my mission for lunch was to eat a great Philly Cheesesteak, chips or no chips. I also ordered pickled chips or as we say in the south«fried pickles» for an appetizer. From my experience, a bad appetizer is usually followed by, well, a bad meal. The fried pickles looked slightly over cooked but still tempting. The batter was crisp on the outside but mushy if you will on the inside with a mustard flavor!?! I was pretty disappointed since these were pretty expensive. So, how about that cheese steak sandwich? For presentation it looked great, check out the pic. For value or quantity, you get a lot of sandwich for the buck; however, if your wanting quality, well that’s were things change. The bun was room temperature, soft with little to no chew; nothing like true Italian or French bread, this was more consistent with a store bought bun. The meat was good and plentiful but the sandwich had very little cheese; that’s right, very little cheese. I had to put some spicy ranch on it to give it some flavor. More cheese would have made a big difference. I ordered it with onions and no mushrooms, yet I didn’t see many onions either. Anyway, all in all my experience here was pleasant for a restaurant located on a college campus, but nothing to rave over.

You know a place is good when you start craving it after one visit! I have only had the plain cheesesteak but it is SOOOO good. I think my favorite thing was the spicy ranch sauce. Chips and waffle fries are amazing in this stuff. the mustard blend is good too. If you want to try some stuff — they have just about anything you can think of for additional toppings(jalapenos, mushrooms, queso, bacon). I have eaten there a few times now. If I can stop craving the cheesesteak, I just might try a sandwich or a burger! The service is good too. All the staff are very friendly. Don’t get turned away because its located at UTA. There is a huge parking lot right across the street. There is a patio outside as well.

Tasty food(I’ve been twice and liked the Founder’s Steak better than the Chicken Left Coast). Friendly and helpful register worker. Sadly, this is a slow cheese steak kitchen — it takes about 10 minutes for a large steak and fries without a crowd. I partly mind paying $ 11 for a large steak and fries with water, but students need a $ 5 or $ 6 special that includes a decent amount of food and a drink. At $ 11, even I think of going elsewhere.

I came here a couple weeks ago to try out the new spot at College Park. I got the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak and I’ve got to say I was not impressed. The cheesesteak came with chips and salsa but the chips were bagged Tostitos and the salsa came from a bottle — cold & self-serve. There was hardly any sauce on the cheesesteak and didn’t taste anything like buffalo chicken should. It’s also pretty expensive for a restaurant meant for college students. The ambience is sub par. Looks exactly the same as the restaurant that was here prior to this one looked(digg’s taco shop). Service was also slow and there were only 3 groups of people inside. Pretty sure I won’t be returning.

One of the best cheesesteaks I have had in Texas. I like the ranch dressing that is provided as a side. Looking forward to trying some of the other sandwiches. Grab a sandwich and head to Levitt Pavilion for a evening free concert.

My girlfriend and I tried the new Texadelphia on it’s first Sunday afternoon. The word on campus was service was slow, so we were a little hesitant. We walked in, and there was a good sized crowd; all eager, I’m sure, to try the new College Park restaurant as well. The cashiers were very helpful, and walked us through the menu. While up front, I noticed how many employees were busy behind the counter, cooking and prepping the meals. It seemed really organized. I ended up ordering the chicken Cubano, and my girlfriend got the Beef South Philly. We got our drinks, and picked a table. With so many crowded tables, I was concerned that, like I’d heard, the wait would be lengthy. However, I watched as a constant supply of good looking meals were ran from out of the kitchen to customers. Within 10 minutes or less, both of us had our meals… And the meals were DELICIOUS. Seriously, it was fantastic. The baked Italian role bread was delicious, and the meat fresh. Even the side of chips were good, although I hear the side of fries is even better. The manager was walking around and chatting with customers, which hopefully means they are really investing in this place. Overall, this was great dining. The employees were nice, the service quick and efficient, and the food flavorful. Even the prices were reasonable, less than $ 8 a piece. I think this is a great edition to the College Park District. We will definitely be back.

Worst opening I have seen in a restaurant. There were four of us, each on our own ticket. The third person to order got his food first. It was not what he had ordered, but the cashier had entered it wrong, so he technically got what the system said he should have, bit it was not what he asked for. The fourth person to order got his food next. The fried pickles were not good. Most of the pickles had come out of the fried part making it not«fried pickles» but«fried» and«pickles». The first two people to order, which included me waited over 45 minutes for my food, it never came. I ended up asking for my money back. Manager gave me a refund and a coupon to try them again, and I will in a few weeks; allowing for the kinks to be worked out. The other person in my party though who asked for a refund, they screwed that up as well and charged her a second time instead of giving her money back. Again, it was the first day so one should expect a few bumps, but they ended up 0 – 4 with my group. I will give them a month to figure out their process a little more and get there staffed trained and re-trained. You can give them a chance, as that is the only way they will get better, but think twice if it is something you need quickly or to be correct. Once I try them again, I will review again.
