T and T Restoration and Air Conditioning

Our nightmare with Cliff Thrasher started when we sold our house. The buyers’ inspector found a possible problem with one of our attic fans, an electrical box that was not properly secured. They hired Thrasher to determine what needed to be done to get the fan up to code. The realtor brought him over and while he was up in our attic he managed to put his foot through our living room ceiling. We came home to find a gaping hole in the ceiling and all of our furniture and carpet covered in drywall debris and cellulose insulation. I cried when I saw the mess. It took us hours to clean it all up. Thrasher came back the next day and patched the hole but the workmanship was shoddy. It’s still very obvious where the hole was and the paint job is sloppy with visible roller marks all over the ceiling.
Since the hole incident seemed like an honest mistake and Thrasher was already familiar with the situation we gave him a second chance and hired him to make the repair. My husband had to take off work for the afternoon to be there for the appointment but Thrasher never showed up. He called later, rescheduled and eventually made the repair. Not once through all of this did we complain to Thrasher or the buyers about the loss of pay or the hassle we were forced to endure.
We thought we were done with Thrasher but a few days later he forwarded us an extremely offensive email. It was a creepy, un-​American propaganda email about sending wolves to Washington to overthrow the government. We were shocked and disgusted that he would use his confidential client contact information in such an unprofessional manner. We emailed him back and asked him not to send us any more emails. He sent back what has to be the nastiest, most juvenile response I have ever seen, basically blaming us for hurting his foot with our ceiling, telling us we were terrible people and wishing us all kinds of ill will.
I understand everyone makes mistakes, but Cliff Thrasher managed to turn the simple task of attaching an electrical box to a 2×4 with a couple of screws into royal screwjob.
