The barista doesn’t look happy. The bathroom had two empty toilet paper rolls and a bunch of trash on the floor(it had only been open for 90 minutes). But the food was quick and so was the coffee service.

It’s a Starbucks, but don’t expect this site to offer you much of what you want the way you want it. I’ve only been here ten minutes and I’ve witnessed one customer send back two items he was dissatisfied with. And ok, maybe he’s picky. But they don’t have what I wanted so I had to settle. The point of a franchise(aside from building capital) is to provide the same product at each site. I also just witnessed two employees across the counter(one just ended a shift) discussing what part of the machines had and had not been cleaned. Pretty disturbing as she’s also making drinks. *sips Caramel Frapp* not bad at all. If I didn’t witness the cleaning convo, I would have bumped it up to a 3 star, but instead this visit gets a solid 2-star rating. Good luck on your visit!

By far the cleanest Starbucks in my area. No problem with service was fast efficient and accurate. I like the table and chair arrangement and the service dog friendly atmosphere.

The coffee tastes great, but the only thing louder was the staff. I’m all about having a good time at work, but when there is an incredibly long and slowly moving line, cut the jokes and antics and pick up the pace. Waited about five minutes with only a few people in front of me and heard all sorts of personal details that should probably be discussed during break, not when people are waiting and everything is moving like molasses.

This starbucks, by far, is the worst I have ever came across. The guy behind the counter was too busy conversing about how his manager was going to fire him with another coworker rather than taking my order. When he made my order wrong, he accused me of not telling him the correct order. Do not bother going here. just go to the mall and get your coffee there.(BTW my order is pretty easy– unsweetened ice coffee with milk)…how do you get that wrong… really though.

This is the worst Starbucks on the planet. Every visit is a reminder than I should avoid this place at all costs. Annoying baristers, rude customers, unclean store. *sigh* Truly my last visit. I swear it.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for over three years because I work in the mall and they are the slowest one I have ever experienced. You would think because they are in a high traffic mall and there are four ppl working behind the counter they would be able have some urgency about helping the thirsty folks in line. These turtles don’t mind if the line is wrapped around the food court. There are two other locations right outside the mall so venture out.

I’m not a huge fan of Starbucks by any means, however, for the sake of this review I’m going to be as unbiased as usual. This is located in Pentagon Row which serves a great convenience for those who live in area. Specifically during the winter and being located right by the skating ring makes it perfect to get a got beverage. It serves its typical overpriced fare of coffee, shakes, and premade breakfast items with a few select sandwiches. Generally I find staff here to be nice. I do not frequent Starbucks at all, but when I do, it is typically this location. I’ve been here about 10 times in the last two years. It’s the closest Starbucks to my home. It’s the only coffee option in Pentagon Row.

This Starbucks is incredibly slow, even when there are few customers. It’s the slowest of the four Starbucks in the area by far.

The staff had no idea what drink I ordered and the place was mobbed with children ordering coffee, YIKES.

I am seeing that people are reviewing both the location inside the food court of Pentagon City Mall and the one inside the Pentagon Centre located near Chevy’s. This review is for the location inside the Pentagon Centre since the cover photo is for this location. I usually get a latte from Starbucks since I cannot drink their brewed coffee. I get very jittery after drinking their brewed coffee, but I was fine with their espresso based drink. The coffee is consistently good and the service is usually quick. Note: The address for Pentagon City Mall is 1100 S. Hayes St. Arlington, VA22202. For those who visited the location inside the mall, please create a new business portal for this location. Thanks.

They have the fastest barista’s and the best service. The location is great since it’s right next to the Metro, and the mall. What I enjoy the most is the outdoor patio which allows you to enjoy the nice weather when it’s warm outside. The coffee is also great compared to other Starbucks I have visited. Overall it has a great environment and excellent staff.

Exactly what you would expect from a starbucks in a shopping center. The baristas were friendly, they called my coffee out by my first name, limited seating due to solo patrons who spread their laptop/papers all over tables meant to seat four. I purchased a skinny vanilla latte(yum, my regular), the Michael Buble Christmas CD, and a peppermint brownie pop(first time buy!). I enjoyed the brownie pop but Leah didn’t. She says the consistency of the cake pops are overly moist and feel undercooked. I, however, love anything loaded with sugar so it doesn’t take much to please. Christmas CD is a gift so I haven’t listened to it and can’t review it. Overall, much appreciated break from my Marshalls/Nordstrom Rack shop-a-thon.

Average Starbucks, employees are friendly but it can take eons to get your drink. I’m not a fan of their coffee(always has a bitter/burnt taste) but the caramel apple drink is a decent option in a cold DC winter.

It’s the middle of the food court at Pentagon City. There’s two kinds of people here: business schmucks like me in Hugo Boss and suburban shoppers dressed way down. it’s a kiosk Starbucks staring down the gunsights of Au Bön Pain, athwart the horror that is any food court in any suburban mall. The closest thing to sanity. Sadly, because it’s a food court and not an actual Starbucks — sanity is not served here. Shrieking teenagers run amok, with behavior vastly worse than the toddlers. Well, the service is good but stick to the basics. Don’t plan on talking about work. The noise level is distracting to the point of headache inducing, and this was on a Monday at 11 am. it’s close to the metro entrance, so you can knock back a joe before you go.

As a big cheerleader for Starbucks, it pains me to give a 2 star review. But I am pissed off and here’s why. At Pentagon City you can only get validations from a few places, Starbucks being one of them. I’ve never had to ask Starbucks before since I am a Costco member and usually go there. Today my husband and I wanted coffee and thought it would work out well. When I asked the barista to validate my parking, another barista took the ticket and scanned it and handed it back. On my way out of the parking lot, the attendant informed me the ticket had not been validated and charged me $ 2(mind you, I wasn’t even here for 30 minutes.) I tried to explain that the barista took the ticket and scanned it. «You have to take it to the customer service desk inside the mall.» Well, the Starbucks people made no mention of this. I even offered to show our receipt as proof. I am cheap-I wanted to park the car, buy something at Costco I’d eventually use anyway and get my free parking! But there were three cars behind me. So I paid the $ 2 and am upset it cost more to park to get the coffee than the actual price of the coffee. To top it off, the coffee was awful-that burnt taste I only rarely get at Starbucks. So Starbucks-you owe me a better cup of coffee AND another cup of coffee because my next cup of coffee money went to parking! The layout is actually quite nice and there is a good amount of seating. Baristas are nice but obviously not aware of the parking policy.

My favorite Starbucks! Want to know why?! It’s the closest one to my front door. So if proximity to my house is important to you, drink your lattes here. And if you are going to stalk me at least buy me a drink. Tall green tea plain or regular coffee with half & half and lots of good olé’ American granulated sugar. Thank you very much!

When you’re stuck at the Costco tire change place, there aren’t too many places to go other than either blowing your budget at Best Buy, or Starbucks. I didn’t find it ad crowded as other Starbucks’ in the area. Place was friendly and lots of space.
